We loved our time at the Deer Lake Chalet! The property description was accurate inside and out. The home had everything we needed for our week's stay. Multiple water toy options to enjoy during the heat wave and the fishing was great! The color of Deer Lake is like nothing we have experienced in MN. It reminded us of the Caribbean and Banff. We hope to visit again soon!

Deer Lake Chalet was a great place for our family to stay. The property is right on the lake and has beautiful outdoor spaces. We thoroughly enjoyed using the canoe, kayak, paddle boards, and paddle boat. It was nice that six of us could take a morning paddle together. There is a fire pit and outdoor games as well. The teenagers enjoyed having the bunkhouse to themselves. If you have multiple families staying together, I'd recommend adding the bunkhouse for extra space and the second bathroom. We would definitely return.

It was our 3rd time at the Chalet and we enjoyed our stay once again. Hosts are responsive and always making improvements to the property and/or amenities available. The lake water is clear and clean. Oir group enjoys fishing off the docks, paddle boarding, paddle boating, and swimming. The beautiful water is one of our favorite things about this location.

The chalet was easy to find and very clean (something very important to us). It was a wonderful place for us to reconnect as a family and make memories. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Would highly recommend it for anyone looking to get away from the busyness of life for a time of quiet in the midst of nature.

Fun fall getaway

Stayed here with friends for an annual fishing trip. The Chalet was great! Wonderful accommodations and the listing matched up exactly with expectations. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Bachelorette Weekend

This lake house was perfect for a relaxing bachelorette weekend with friends! We used the paddle boards and kayaks on the lake, hung out on the deck, and hiked nearby! Very communicative hosts and picturesque setting!

Well equipped!

Great location easy access from boat launch. Beautiful lake. Plenty of games and toys. Best equipped kitchen we've had.

Cozy Winter Getaway

What a wonderful escape for a winter weekend! The snowy view of the lake was beautiful, and we definitely enjoyed the warmth of the wood stove on a cold winter day. Jon was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Awesome stay and great hosts...maybe we will have to return for a future summer trip.

Sweet cabin!

It was absolutely amazing!! You will love it too! So much stuff to do there. My boys didn’t want to leave. It was a great fun time! So beautiful. : )

Fall stay

Stayed mid October, beautiful time to use cabin. The king in loft with foam top mattress knocked me out, everything we needed in well appointed kitchen, great views. Played cribbage in t-shirts on deck, evening used free Hulu, Netflix, would recommend and do again.

Cozy winter retreat

Nice spot to lodge with a group in winter. We were at a conference most of the days and didn’t spend a lot of time on the property, but it served our needs great. The only challenge was getting up the hill outside with a couple vehicles since it was icy, but everyone made it eventually. Host was communicable and friendly and helpful.

Winter Weekend

The house fit our every need. Check in process was seamless. Rooms were decently sized and decorated nicely. WiFi was strong and consistent. It was quiet on the lake and at night it felt like there wasn’t another soul around for miles. We can’t wait to return!

Exquisit place

This home is everything it states and more. The setting is pristine, as well as the home itself. Everything you need is provided, along with a basket of goodies welcoming you as you walk into the door. The hosts do a fantastic job, which we really appreciate. Simply beautiful inside and out!
