BOULDER COVE, Luxury Lakefront Estate

Boulder Cove is a luxury lakefront home on the picturesque waters of Boulder Bay. Built in 2013 this custom residence is nestled on the tip of Peninsula Point with lakefront and mountain views from every room. With over 300' of lakefront, its own private cove and dock this home is unparalleled in every way.

The Boulder Cove Property has been featured on TV and movie productions such as 'His Secret Family' for the Lifetime Channel, 'Bird Dog' from Warner Horizon, and promoted on the TV show 'The Doctors'.

Covid Info 2/4/21- current date 2021- We are still permitted to allow guests into our home. Outdoor activities are operating (lift tickets purchase online, limited availability). Restaurants are only takeout or delivery. There are a few extra restrictions.
1-Groceries should be purchased at your local store prior to traveling. This will reduce the strain on our community.
2-Absolutely no parties.
3-Please follow and respect guidelines set regarding social distancing and masks.
4-Spa hours are 7A-10P (we don't like it either, but its a restriction placed upon us.)

Violation of the restrictions will result in eviction without refund.

Our strict cancellation policy is still in affect. Any cancellations requesting full refund, will need to provide proper documentation to the hosting site(SavvyBears, Airbnb, Vrbo). We will NOT cancel your reservation for you.

All requests to change date, must be done a minimum of 14 days before your stay. Prices may change due to change of date.

If you instant book, you assume responsibility that all restrictions will be followed. We will not be responsible for any eviction, fine, or inconvenience due to disregarding the restrictions placed for Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City.

Upon entering this lakefront villa you will immediately see why Boulder Cove is so special. Spectacular views, a private cove and luxury amenities at their best await you.

Gourmet Kitchen- Large granite kitchen island, high end stainless steel appliances, and all you would need for entertaining. Keurig, drip coffee maker, a selection of spices, starter pack of paper towels, trash bags, coffee, and sugar.

Dining Room- The lake view dining area comfortably seats 10. Also take advantage of the patio dining options.

All 4 bedrooms have their own private bathrooms, flat screen TVs, and gorgeous lake views.

2 Master Bedrooms- Both are located on the main floor. King sized beds. One with its own fireplace, and balcony.

2 Bedrooms- Both located upstairs. Both rooms have King sized beds. One with twin sized bunk beds. (Crib available, no bedding is provided for crib)

Recreation Room- Located on ground floor. With a double sofa bed and a full bathroom can be used as a 5th bedroom. Direct access to the lower deck. Selection of toys/games to be found in the cabinet below the stairs.

Great room- Plenty of space for your group to enjoy drinks, movies, games, or relaxation time by the fireplace after a day on the water or slopes. Leather furnishings, HD TV, DVD player, and magnificent views of Boulder Bay.

Main Deck- off the living area is comfortably furnished with patio furniture and a gas barbecue.

Lower Lakeside Deck- for those special evening outings or morning coffee.

Bayside Deck- has a large hot tub to refresh and rejuvenate. Spa hours from 7A-10P per city.

Private Dock & Sandy Beach- This is your gateway to water sports, fishing, and relaxation on the beautiful mountain waters of Boulder Bay and Big Bear Lake. Feel free to bring your boat for mooring at our dock and enjoy the kayaks we have available for your use.

Boulder Cove was carefully designed and built to be a part of the picturesque island boulders surrounding it. From the moment you unlock the door and step into Boulder Cove you will feel a sense of calm and welcome that will last throughout your stay. Every room offers breathtaking views of Boulder Bay and its casual elegance and amenities are next to none.

The Boulder Cove housekeeping staff strictly adheres to the CDC’s guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing. For more information please visit the CDC’s website on control and prevention.

You'll have access to nearly everything in the home.

-One Garage Bay(you can use the 2 car garage)
-2 Closets in the garage, and one in the media room.

We will check you in, walk you through the home. Otherwise we leave you to your getaway! We are just a quick message away.

Bringing your own transportation is important, as the home is in a private area of the lake.

Please respect our neighbors. It’s a private quiet street. We know all of our neighbors.

Big Bear Lake/City requires an additional 11% for vacation rentals. It is sent directly to the city of Big Bear Lake.

Cleaning fee- $350
Covers basic cleaning of entire home, laundering of linens, and hot tub cleaning.
For longer stays, additional linen refresh, or cleaning during your stay, please contact us. Extra charges will apply.

Security deposit $1500

This home NOT Pet friendly. If found to have a pet, you risk forfeiture of your security deposit. Please respect the homeowner and their rules. If you are looking for a pet friendly home, we have other options for you.

Service Animals- We understand that service animals are an important part of your lives. However the homeowner is highly allergic to animals. With this in mind, we cannot accommodate your animals. We do have several other homes that will be suitable to your needs. Reach out to us for options.

Check in as early as 3pm. Check out is 11am. Please be prompt. The cleaner occasionally shows up exactly at check out. There will be an extra $100 fee if they arrive and must wait or come back. They will not knock, or enter the property until it is vacated due to safety.

Please note in winter months: The roads are plowed regularly, but you may need 4x4 vehicle and chains. We are not responsible for any weather related travel issues. No refunds will be issued, unless all 3 routes to Big Bear are closed for 24 hours. We recommend trip insurance if this concerns you.

Steve or Brandon, maintain our hot tub after each and every guest. Be mindful of lotions, oils, and dirt when entering the spa. Excessive use or abuse will result in a drain, clean, an refill fee. If staying longer than 7 days, the spa will be maintained at Savvy Bears discretion.

A rental contract between Savvy Bears Management Inc. and the guest will be required to confirm the acceptance of the rental. This contract will be provided to the guest as part of the reservation process. That contract includes the following cancellation policy:

Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival date will receive a 50% refund or offered alternate dates of stay. Alternate booking dates cannot be holidays or peak seasons and must be used within 90 days or will be forfeited. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance. No refund will be made for cancellation due to weather, road conditions, acts of nature, mechanical failures, electrical failures or malfunctions with spas, TVs or other equipment, or for sighting of insects, rodents, or other animals. No refunds will be made for circumstances beyond the Homeowner’s control. Rescheduling is allowed if all roads have been closed into the area. Chains are often times required and should be carried at all times and may be needed to get in or out of the home or Big Bear. Guest is responsible for snow removal from decks and stairs during their stay.

Occupancy (12 includes children & infants) and car limit (5) are set by the city. They will enforce theses. If found to have more than we are licensed for, you may be evicted with no refund. So please adhere to these limitations.

Keypad code-City of Big Bear Lake requires their Good Neighbor Policy to be signed prior to gaining access to the home. The person booking the home MUST sign, no exceptions. Declining to sign will result in no access to the home, & cancellation of reservation with no refund. GNP can be found in our listing along with the break down of our agreement. Agreement is sent in a link for virtual signature in welcome message.

Code will be sent day of check in. Once the home is ready or at 4pm, whichever is first.

Price includes an 11% Occupancy Tax required by the City of Big Bear Lake.

BEAUTIFUL and LUXURIOUS CABIN ON THE LAKE

Luxurious and fully stocked residence at one of best locations on the lake! The private beach, boulders and dock are awesome and the views, fantastic!

Boulder Bay Cove

The property was beautiful and perfect for our group. Beware of the birds! We struggled with swallows everywhere so sitting outside was impossible. The windows were full of bird droppings and our cars were coated in. If they can get the birds under control I would go back but not if the birds aren’t removed. Hundreds of them!
