Casa Samba was designed as a true tropical home, not a conventional vacation rental. Cathedral bamboo ceilings, exotic hardwoods, hand-carved stone details, custom tilework, and original art give the villa an individual character that complements its natural surroundings.

The private pool overlooks the Pacific Ocean and surrounding rainforest, creating one of Casa Samba's favorite gathering places.

The villa's terraces and open-air spaces offer plenty of opportunities to enjoy the tropical environment throughout the day—from morning wildlife sightings and ocean breezes to relaxing afternoons beside the pool.

Because the villa is built vertically into the hillside, different levels reveal changing perspectives over the rainforest canopy, coastline, and Manuel Antonio National Park.

The villa accommodates up to 10 guests.

Air conditioning is provided in all bedrooms, while the primary common areas embrace Casa Samba's open-air tropical design with ceiling fans and natural ventilation.


WILDLIFE & MANUEL ANTONIO LOCATION

One of Casa Samba's most memorable features is its connection to the surrounding rainforest.

Guests frequently encounter monkeys, toucans, macaws and other tropical wildlife from the villa's balconies and open-air living spaces. The property's elevated position provides expansive views across the forest canopy toward the Pacific Ocean and Manuel Antonio National Park.

Casa Samba is located in a quiet residential neighborhood just off the main Manuel Antonio road, offering privacy while remaining conveniently close to the area's attractions.

Playa Espadilla is approximately a 2-minute drive away, while restaurants, cafés, shopping, beaches and Manuel Antonio National Park are all within easy reach.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR STAY

• Casa Samba is a multi-level hillside villa with numerous stairs, including stairs leading to the entrance and between several levels of the home. It may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

• The villa features an open-air tropical design. Bedrooms are air-conditioned, while the principal open-air common spaces rely on ceiling fans and natural ventilation.

• For last-minute reservations made within 60 days of arrival, housekeeping service is available for an additional $25 per day. Please contact your host to arrange service.

• There is no guest access to the villa's laundry facilities. Our housekeeping team can assist with personal laundry during your stay.

• Optional private chef service may be arranged through the Escape Villas concierge and guest services team. Food and beverages are additional.

• A refundable $400–$500 cash security deposit, depending on group size, is required at check-in to cover potential damage or missing items.

• Casa Samba may be offered in different bedroom configurations through separate listings. Rates and included bedrooms may therefore vary. Your reserved villa space remains private and is never shared with other guests.

• All published rates include mandatory fees. No hidden fees.
