Little Horn Lodge is what it has been named. Come and stay at and undwind after a exciting day of hiiking, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or snowmobiling in our cozy cabin. Near ski and snowmobile trails. Enjoy a peaceful bonfire in the yard and you may even see a few deer wonder through the back feild.

Notice the detail in use of locally reclaimed wood from late 1800s from the base board to the top of the triple stacked bunk beds.

Kayaks available upon request with 1 week minimum advance notice before booking.

Circle tour around Lake Superior

Note: we have one Ring security camera on the front side of the cabin. It has audio and microphone capabilities. The main reason we find it necessary is to help guests with any issues in getting into to the cabin. The second reason is for snow removal during the winter months. There is a drastically different snow accumulation from one area of the Copper County to another.

Accommodations as described and worked out great for our mixed group of skiers and snowmobilers. Communication by host throughout stay and really enjoyed our stay.

This little gem was perfect for our family of 7! I loved that it was so close to two beaches, making it a quick drive home after watching the sunset! The central location also makes day trips around the peninsula doable. We’ve already decided if/when we return, we will be booking this spot again! The hosts were also very responsive.

Beautiful Yooper Cabin in the Woods

Awesome place for a family gathering with a convenient location to everything in the Keweenaw peninsula. Truly a wonderful location to be with loved ones.

Perfect cabin for a group on the Keewenaw

This cabin was quaint and rustic yet so clean and comfortable!! A great hub to stay at when exploring the Keewenaw and so close to a couple beaches on Lake Superior. Would be perfect for a group of people and kids!

Great Cabin!

Jason was very helpful and kind, his cabin was clean and the kids LOVED it, we will be renting again. You can't go wrong with renting this place.

Great place

This is a great place to stay if you want privacy and the convenience of being close to town. We had a family of five stay and the accommodations are great. The kids loved the bunk room and playing pool!

This place is great and was exactly as advertised. Perfect location and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the pool table and living area. The beds are super comfortable. The owners were welcoming and communicated clearly. Checkout expectations were reasonable. Definitely the place to stay for large and small groups.

Family Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the Little Horn Lodge! Jason and Misty were easy to communicate with and provided everything we needed for our three night stay. The location was great, near McLain State Park and not far from downtown Houghton. We would stay here again!

Perfect Place for a Large Group

Had a large group of 20 stay here for a snowmobile trip. Very comfortable for the amount of people!

These guys had a crew of 20 and I have seen 2 people make more of a mess than they did. They were very respectful. 5 Star for them for sure. Thank you for taking care of the place. Hope to see you next season. Jason

Both my wife Misty and myself were born in the Copper Country. We live in Lake Linden where we raise our 3 children.

I work in our family grocery store, Louie's Fresh Market that our family has owned since the 1976.

I enjoy working with my family, being on the lake in any capacity, during the winter I help coach our girls hockey team and try to play a few games myself.

I am very laid-back and enjoy spending time with family and friends. We only get one shot at life, so we enjoy everyday we are given.

I starting hosting short term rentals in 2021. I became a host because I wanted others to be able to enjoy the area as much as we have.
