Loaded with amenities, you’ll find everything to please a crowd, no matter the age! On-site amenities abound, with a newly renovated outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, a sauna, and a steam room. Our fitness facility will please the exercise enthusiast, and the gift shop boasts an array of beach supplies and keepsakes to make your trip even more enjoyable. Seasonal offerings include beach chair/umbrella rentals (fee), and an outdoor tiki bar. Grab complimentary DVD rentals to enjoy in your unit. SunDestin Beach Resort houses more than 3,000 s.f. of meeting space, making it ideal for your large gatherings. Our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk should any questions arise.



SunDestin Unit 1407 is a breezy one bedroom, one- and one-half bathroom condo accommodating up to four. You’ll welcome the inviting feel of this home away from home, bathed in ocean blues and complemented by beachy decor. All can enjoy the expansive views and engage easily with others in this open-concept unit. The kitchen is loaded with everything needed to prepare meals and tasty treats for the beach. Catch up with one another or catch a game in the cozy living room with flat-screen TV. Enjoy a board game or puzzle at the dining table with seating for four. Step out onto the private balcony and breathe in the sea air or take a catnap on the queen-sized sleeper sofa in the living room. You’ll love the privacy of the master suite complete with a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, and en suite bathroom for added convenience.



Stay close or embark on a short, 20-minute drive to Destin Commons for lunch/dinner, a movie, and an afternoon spent browsing boutiques and shops.



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Property is a little grungy in some areas and undergoing renovations. Room was as advertised and you can’t beat the view from the balcony!

The rooms were exactly as depicted. The kitchen is well equipped. The view is incredible. Our only complaint was that the water pressure was low. The thing that has been bringing me back to Sun Destin for over 20 years is how well it is set up for families. Having a restaurant and convenience store on site makes your stay so much easier.

View is the only thing good,no access to hot tub,sand in pool,the noise from all the construction was unbelievable,with no knowledge of any construction before we booked only when we showed up did we find out!!!!

Everything was good except this place does not have router Ethernet connection, wifi only, I came to Sundestin several times but this is the first time that I got a room with no router, I guess is up to the owners hace it or not, besides it everything was great, I just couldn’t work but i rested. Great location

A couple of things to know

The property is pretty old and the condos show the wear. The beach is absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. I was disappointed there were no umbrellas by the pool. There was no shade. The restaurant is really just a snack bar. We had never been to Destin and the traffic was awful. All in all we did have a good time.

Our stay at SunDestin Beach Resort was very disappointing, especially considering how misleading the online photos were compared to the actual condition of the property.The room and resort are in serious need of updating. There has apparently been construction going on since 2023, which was frustrating to deal with during our stay. The water pressure was so poor that it barely worked, there was visible rust on the refrigerator, and my husband actually had to fix the sink himself just so it would drain properly. The bedroom had carpet (which felt outdated and unclean), no ceiling fan or overhead light, and they provided a box fan as a substitute—which says a lot about the condition of the room. The temporary see-through blinds were another issue because the bright hallway light shined directly into the room all night, making it impossible to tell whether it was morning or nighttime.The amenities also did not match what was advertised. The splash pad shown in the photos was not open or functioning, the pool was dirty, and there were no umbrellas around the pool area for shade. Even something as basic as towels was frustrating—you could not get extra towels unless you paid to rent them or paid to wash and dry the ones you already had.One positive note: the restaurant in the lobby was delicious and had great drinks. Unfortunately, every time you walked past it to access the beach, there was a very strong fish smell.Overall, the location is great, but the resort did not.

Overall this place was nice but not great. The condo had carpet in the bedroom that was gross and always damp despite running the ac all the time. The grounds had nice aspects but there was ALWAYS trash around so it felt dirty.

First time to Destin.

This condo was very nice. The issues we had was that the bath tub needs to have some sort of shower mat to keep from slipping, this was a big issue with both my husband and myself, and possibly some sort of grab bar when getting in and out. I know this issue is more for older people than younger ones. My husband loved that it had a recliner, he sometimes has a hard time sleeping and needs to recline, so that was a big plus. Also the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, including my own.

Room smelled like cigarettes. A few broken things. Dirty shag carpet. View was beautiful, AC worked well, & surf shop was convenient. Floor we were on smelled like vomit 2 of 6 days we were there. Construction was still actively going on after being told it would wrap in April.

Awesome View

This unit was very comfortable for 2! The view was beautiful, on the 14th floor. The unit had everything you could need, except scissors. Check out was a hassle, as our key quit working (before check out time), so our luggage was locked inside and the elevators were maxed out. Some people waited 45 minutes to catch one. Staggered check out would be nice. Overall, would stay again.
