There’s no time like beach time and you’ll know you’ve arrived as soon as you’re greeted by a Scenic Stays agent. Our 24-hour onsite team members are experts in the SunDestin Beach Resort experience, located directly on the Gulf of Mexico in the heart of Destin.



What could be better than a stay directly on one of Destin’s most stunning white-sand beaches? SunDestin offers endless amenities and endless coastline views. Take in the view in comfort with beach chair and umbrella rentals (fee). Amenities include meeting/event space, a newly renovated outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, and a convenient tiki bar for a quick bite and refreshing beverage. Forget something? The lobby gift shop has you covered! Located in the heart of Destin, there are numerous attractions and opportunities to explore the local area and a fitness center. You get to write the script! Venture out or stay on property to enjoy the sunset, SunDestin amenities, and complimentary DVD rentals for a night in.



When you open the door to SunDestin 0708, you will be greeted by the fresh and airy coastal décor. Whether planning for home-cooked meals or preparing a quick snack for the beach, the well-equipped kitchen will meet your needs. The open dining/living room features comfortable seating for four guests around the table and well-appointed furnishings for kicking back and relaxing after a day at the beach or pool. Fall in love with expansive views of the Gulf as you step out onto the balcony and relax with a sunset.



Perfect for up to four people, recharge each night in the comfortable king-size bed located in the master bedroom while the kids relax in the queen sofa-sleeper in the living room. Flat-panel televisions are located in the living room and bedroom. This property includes one full and one half-bath for added convenience.



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

It was a great family centric location with lots of amenities and eateries all around. The building was under going light renovations, but well kept. This isn't the place for a quiet getaway but you can't beat the beachfront location & view! Very clean room and had all the necessities. Well equipped kitchen with cheese grader to boot. Host was great as well.

Best vacation

The room was perfect and the view from the balcony was amazing great service the only thing I would change is the bed!!! It was hard as a rock but other than that it was an awesome room!!!!

Vacation

I came here with my sister and our friend and we couldn’t have had a better time. The location was perfect and convenient to a lot of different places to walk too. The room itself was clean and the king bed was very comfortable. The pullout bed in the couch was not the best, but we ended up just sleeping on the couch itself and that was much better. The front desk was very knowledgeable and kind, they even provided a little booklet of activities that had a discount codes. We are already discussing when to come back!

Extended weekend stay

We had a great stay! The location is perfect. The kitchen was stocked with appliances, but only thing I noticed while cooking was missing an oven mit. We went without kids on this trip but my husband and I kept noticing all the things they had for children (splash pad, indoor pool, etc) we’ll have to bring the kids back!

Location , easy walk to beach. Views

Toilet in full bath ran all the time. Need to replace flapper. Several lights were out. No key to safe. All are minor. I would stay there again.

Slightly disappointing

Property was under going heavy construction. Balcony not available after being told it would be. Pullout couch very poor condition and not comfortable even for small child. No linens that fit doe pullout

Sun Destin

Overall our stay was pleasant with little complaints! The air conditioner on the balcony was a bummer bc it leaked and made the floor slippery. We also had a sink leak and ruin every that was being stored under the sink. The master bed wasn't super comfortable (the pillows are terrible) but the pull out sofa bed was even worse. Our 2 kiddos slept on the pull out sofa and complained that they could feel the springs of the bed. The pots/pans are not non stick so everything cooked in them burnt. It appeared that only a few of the elevators were operating during our stay which made the wait for working elevators longer than expected (esp during check out times😜). It would be nice if there were also more luggage carts available for visitors. The Tiki hut was closed most of the time during our stay which was disappointing. It would be awesome if there was an app where visitors could order a snack or beverage and it be ready upon a scheduled time!! A bartender or waitress checking with visitors who rent the chairs and umbrellas would also be a nice accommodation. 😬 I must mention that when we reported the leaking sink, staff were sent within an hour to repair the sink. We were thankful for such a quick response. We noticed the overall upkeep and cleanliness of the resort. There was a lot of trash on the beach though. Our family stepped on several sharp objects that we picked up. We understand that it’s difficult to enforce others to clean up after themselves! We found lots of broken rubber bands from the umbrellas and plastic pieces in the sand. We loved having the volleyball net to play with! The location is great with access to everything! Also, many staff that we interacted with were pleasant and friendly. We would stay again for sure!

Can't beat the view!

We booked this place last minute because of the location and we were not disappointed. The full view of the ocean and being able to listen to the waves break on the shore was beautiful and relaxing. The king bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room in the place. Guest service was simply there to move you in and out of the place. We arrived early because we saw that no one was in our room for over a week before us, and they made no effort to try to get us in early. They don't have to, but it said a lot to us. Also, make sure you bring everything you want/need. This is the first place on the beach I have ever rented that did not have beach chairs or towels. You will get four bath towels, four wash rags, and two dish towels for your entire stay (laundry is $2.50 per load). You have to bring your own dishrags if you want to wash dishes. If you plan on cooking, there will not be anything in the place when you arrive...not even salt and pepper. This is all fine, it was just surprising to us and we want to make sure the next people know what they need to bring.

Cute and clean

The condo was very clean and the perfect size for the 2 of us. Only draw back was the hvac unit on the balcony that leaked water on the balcony floor and the bed was uncomfortable. Too hard for our liking. A mattress pad of some sort would help. Other than that, great location, beautiful views and seamless communication.

False advertising and poorly managed property

I'll make this short. The air conditioning compressor is ON the balcony, however it is conveniently not shown on the website photo. The master bedroom toilet was "out of service" with wet towels wrapped around the base and the bathroom floor was wet.

Very nice, friendly clean condo.

Definitely recommend. Close too great restaurants. View is amazing. Lots of children. Doors being slammed. Pool was closed for 2 days. That area was very crowded. Grateful we were on 7th floor. Didn't use pool at all. So Didn't effect us.. Definitely came for ocean view. But other then that room was awesome.

Beautiful oceanfront views

The condo has a beautiful oceanfront view from the 7th floor. Below the patios are the pools so it can be a bit loud there at times. Also the AC unit is on the patio so if it’s running it can be loud and also create some heat on the patio. The unit itself was clean and had plenty of towels. There are 1.5 bathrooms which was nice. Kitchen appliances and utensils are basic but decent. The elevator waits can be long if it’s a busy time. Overall it’s a great place to stay for easy access to the beach, with beautiful views.

Things I would update

The overall room was nice and it was located right on the beach. The building definitely needs some updates. The room we had needed a face-lift especially for the price per night you pay

Memorial Day Weekend 2021

Nice and clean and convenient location. Towels could be better and sheets could be upgraded. Electrical outlet in bedroom does not work.
