The unit has an updated custom turquoise kitchen with subway backsplash, new appliances and copper sink, memory foam mattresses, flat screen TVs, and cozy private veranda. The master bedroom is designed with shiplap walls, new wood flooring and a queen size bed. The hall twin bunks are the perfect tuck-in for the children after a day at the pool or beach. You are just 15 steps away from the Cabanas pool & hot tub and less than 200 steps from the gated, secluded beach access. In addition to two additional pools, the property offers hot tubs, tennis courts, pickle ball, shuffle board, corn hole, walking trails, grills and all that the Gulf Place Town Center has to offer. Located just steps from the famous sugar-white sand and turquoise waters of Northwest Florida’s celebrated Emerald Coast, the colorful community of Gulf Place is one of 30A’s original new urban developments. Decor very nice but still needs updating especially in bath room. Needs more closet space. Location is great and patio is very nice. We would stay there again.

I'm not sure what upgrades you were hoping for in these areas. We installed a copper sink in the master and a barn door to seperate the half bath from the bunkbeds. It was so nice to be able to walk out the patio door and go straight to the pool or walk right across the beach. We loved that there were restaurants, coffee shop, ice cream shop and beach stores right there in the complex, so you really dont have to leave the vrbo unless you just want to. I loved rocking in the rocking chairs out on the patio each morning while having my coffee. The decor is so nicely done and the place so well appointed; all with upscale comfort in mind. We would definitely stay at Amy’s place again if we go back to Santa Rosa Beach.

Newly renovated property was perfect for our family of four. Loved the walk out with small kids (no worry about a balcony). Bed was comfy and shower had nice pressure. We'll be back!

Not one to leave negative reviews but this is not something to take lightly. The apartment had a clear mold issue that was visibly present above the bunk beds. There was also an obvious mold odor immediately upon our arrival, which indicates this was not a new problem and had likely been present for some time prior to our stay. By the time we left, I was experiencing significant symptoms after breathing in the mold, including a severe sore throat, a sensation that my throat was closing, and difficulty breathing. This was extremely concerning and made it clear that the condition of the apartment posed a health and safety issue. It says remodeled but I’m not sure what has been remodeled. We will not be staying here again.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. I want to clarify a few points regarding the issue you experienced. There was evidence of mold on one A/C register located in a relatively obscure area, which is why it was not identified during our housekeeping inspection. Your stay was during an exceptionally busy summer season when the condominium was booked back-to-back, and this was the first time I had ever been made aware of a concern regarding mold in the unit (please see previous reviews). When you brought the issue to my attention, I repeatedly asked what I could do to make the situation better. I was informed that a refund would help offset the inconvenience, and I provided a refund accordingly. Since your departure, I have taken additional steps to thoroughly investigate and address the concern. I paid for an independent mold assessment, which found trace amounts of certain types of mold. The assessor indicated that trace amounts can be expected in a condominium located just steps from the beach due to the warm, humid coastal environment. Nevertheless, I did not want to simply accept that explanation without taking further action. As an additional precaution, I paid to have the entire A/C duct system professionally cleaned. The affected register was also addressed by resealing the A/C boot to prevent condensation, which was contributing to the issue. In addition, all of the A/C registers in the condominium have now been replaced. I take the comfort and safety of our guests very seriously. While I regret that this concern arose during your stay, I am grateful that it was brought to my attention so that I could have the property professionally assessed and take these additional measures to ensure the issue was properly addressed.

What an awesome condo! Our Host- quickly responded to any questions we had about the Condo, the Location, etc. SUPER helpful! We would rent this property again! The Condo was beautifully decorated with many amenities! 1 -1/2 bath made it perfect!The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with cookware and plates etc. The bunk beds were roomy!!Cool- comfortable- !!GROUND floor location- you walk right out back to the pool area THEN directly behind the building were 2 PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS entrances for Gulf Place. We LOVED this location- down the beach to the left was PUBLIC entrance packed with Vendor Chairs and people. At Gulf Place Private entrances we got BEACH FRONT with our 2 canopy tents for 6 days straight!! ( NO VENDORS)Across the Street ALSO is Gulf Place Town Square - you walk across the street and so many places to eat and shop! There’s no reason to drive anywhere!GREAT CONDO! GREAT HOST! Great area!!!! We loved it all!

The place was very clean and in a great location, and the bed was really comfortable. Some minor issues that weren’t a huge issue were several lights not working, no Tupperware or storage in the kitchen, the tv in the main room kept going in and out, and the scent of the lake in the back was very overpowering. Other than that, our only issue was the hot water only lasted about 10m total (though the pressure was great), which just made shower timing a bit difficult. Overall, a great and clean place, but it just had a few issues we had to actively plan around

Had we been made aware of the lighting, television, or kitchen storage concerns during your stay, we would have been happy to address them as quickly as possible. We take pride in maintaining open communication with our guests and encourage them to reach out so we have the opportunity to resolve any issues while they're still enjoying their vacation. Regarding the hot water, we understand that this required some planning and appreciate your comments. We have had multiple licensed plumbing professionals evaluate the water heater, and the unit currently installed is the largest capacity that can accommodate the home's approximately 700-square-foot footprint and the space available for installation. The only recommendation to increase the hot water supply would be to install a larger tank; however, the physical space simply will not accommodate a larger unit. While the current system provides adequate hot water for typical use, we understand it may require guests to stagger showers during periods of heavy demand. Thank you again for your review. Amy, the owner and host was wonderful to deal with. Very accommodating and attentive. Made sure all all my questions were answered and if in need of anything to contact her. Beautiful message layed on bed with fresh flowers was such a delightful touch. The location is perfect, beach with easy walking distance, pool right outside your door. The bed was very comfortable and all the amenities you needed. Will definitely be returning for a visit.

The unit was great, just a few steps to the pool and hot tub and maybe it took us three minutes to get down into the beach. We loved this place because it was on the ground floor and steps from the pool where we wanted to be. Perfect for a couple but bunks in the hall would certainly work for two kiddos as well - definitely plan to stay there again

This condo was the best . The property manager was amazing. The location was great. I will definitely stay in this area again . It was the best family oriented area in Florida that I have ever been to. Lots of great restaurants and lots of friendly people. I read a review that said this is a party area, it is not at all . I loved it and so did my family.

We hail from The Lone Star State, and are very proud to be natives of that country. We used to vacation at beaches in Texas until we discovered the Emerald Coast. After that discovery, we have come to really love this part of the world and spend as much time here as possible!

We have owned in Okaloosa and Walton county since 1991, and enjoy sharing this beautiful area with others. When this special customized unit became available, we jumped on it. It is the perfect location with something for everyone. Proximity to the Beach and Pool were the most important to us. This Gulf Place Ground Floor unit is also adjacent to the "The Green" where activities and music abound. The Cabanas building is the closest of many to the Beach and is an easy walk to shopping and wonderful diverse choices for dining. It was a no-brainer for us to purchase this beautiful unit for our own use as well as for our Guests' enjoyment.

Once you park by the door and take your things right inside, you never have to get into your car again! Food, Fun and Sun abound out your door. Until it's time to return to your real world, snuggle in and Enjoy!. We think you'll come back soon!!
