We love to come to this cabin. It’s close to everything yet far away from everyone. The hot tub is great, large perfect working order. We spent lots of time at the fire pit. Cabin is stocked with everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Cabin is clean. Owners are very attentive and easy to message, excellent communication . We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful property. They have thought about anything you might possibly need while you are there . The property and home were amazing and super cute . We had a great time . It was just far enough away do it felt secluded but close to enough stuff so there was plenty to do. We got to see some deer and enjoyed the fire pit . It was exactly what we needed and would love to come back.

The property's is in a very beautiful location. It was very easy to contact the host with any questions or concerns that we had. There were two issues that we had that lowered our ranking: first, there was a musty smell in the main bedroom that had my allergies going overtime; secondly, there were some bugs in the kitchen area. However, there was some bug killer that allowed us to take care of them somewhat.

We dont know why we got a 4 star review. The guest mentioned that she wasnt feeling well before the stay. Then messaged they were going home early because she was sick. Then 4 hours later asked if they could come back as she had an infection and got meds. She never mentioned anything about a smell in the room. Which would be a first. The cabin is surrounded by trees and maybe that is what set off her allergies. She never even mentioned anything about bugs. The reviews before and after her stay say about how clean the place is. She never once mentioned to me about any bugs. Then the review comes 2 weeks after her stay and that is the first time she even mentioned it. If she had mentioned these things during her stay, we could have fixed the problem but were never given a chance.

What an amazing space, the perfect place to unwind and relax. The hottub was perfection and the bed was far above average compared to other places I’ve stayed. Everything was so clean and so organized and warm and inviting…also, the spice cabinet was plentiful!The only negative part was the killer wasps that emerged during my stay. They were not directly in the house but they did get into both of the screened-in rooms, one of which contained the grill on which we were cooking, which was pretty scary. Luckily, the host thinks of everything and there was a bottle of wasp/hornet Raid spray that we were able to use so that we could at least get the food off the grill. The host was very responsive and supportive, said that they’re seasonal, but…it was scary. I, personally, have my own property sprayed quarterly by a company to keep wasps and bees away, they terrify me that much lol. It’s a service that I pay for monthly, but well worth it for my own peace of mind, I’m a baby when it comes to this stuff! But, perhaps the owners could look into something like this! Despite having to battle the gigantic Japanese wasps—don’t let them scare you off!!—my time spent at Rustic Ridge was perfection and I will be back.

We cant wait for you to come back. They are big but I have been told by my cleaner that they dont sting. This is the 1st year I had seen so many. Last year it was this weird spider. We do have a bug guy come and spray every 3 months.

This was our second stay at this cabin and we can’t wait to go back. The cabin is close to everything and not too far from the casino. The cabin itself is super clean the beds are so comfortable. Cabin is large in size and very nicely decorated. The hot tub was fantastic in perfect working order. I can’t say enough about the fire pit. We sat by it every night. We didn’t see any deer this time but saw squirrels. The cabin had everything we needed inside and out. Plenty of supplies. The owners are very helpful and communication is great. Very nice people. Overall stay… A. Can’t wait to return.

Just throw out about 3 scoops in a couple of places. The deer will come, We didnt see any when we were up in January. Sometimes we see them every night, sometimes we dont see them at all.

We met in 2013. Married 2 years later. Tess is a real estate agent here in Lake County. I referee high school football and basketball in the Orlando area. This is our future retirement home to get away from the hot and humid Florida summers. We also wanted a place that we could enjoy the 4 seasons of the year. Here in Florida we basically have 2. Summer and 8 days of WInter. We do have other seasons like pollen, love bug and the dreaded hurricane season. We hope you enjoy our place when you visit. Hopefully you will want to rebook with us in the future.

We wanted to find a place for us to retire to that didnt have a lot of steps to go up. As it would be harder to go up and down as we got older. This property is one story. It is easily accessible as you dont have to go up a mountain to get to it. Plenty of parking area if you have other family meeting you at the rental. We only have 2 neighbors so it is a quiet area.

Our well is not your normal well water. It is cold and tastes excellent. No need to buy bottled water while staying at our place. It has 3 porches. The one on back and side are screened in so you can sit outside to listen to the rain hitting the metal roof. That is a good relaxing sound. Drink your coffee on the back porch in the morning while listening to the birds sing. Keep a watch out for the deer coming in to feed at night. We have a metal trash can of corn out by the fire pit to put out. They will come in to eat the corn at dusk or in the morning. The fire pit is a short walk from the back porch. Worried about wood for it? Dont, as we provide the wood for you. Also provide fire starters. We rented a cabin a few years ago. Had to buy the wood. Then it rained and we had to take some of it back. It just didnt make sense to me to have guests buy wood then cant use the pit as it does rain quite a bit there. Sit on the swing on the front porch for a bit. We provide most of the amenities so you dont have to bring them. If you are staying for a week, you are more then welcome to use the washer and dryer. Washing tabs are provided. We also have dishwasher tabs. If you want to wash dishes by hand, we have dish soap. Filters for the Mr Coffee drip coffee maker.
