If you need a place to get away from all the stress, look no further 'Laurel Creek' is where you want to rest! This cabin is charming and has a great view of the creek.

We have security cameras outside of cabin and are notified when guest arrive. All alarms will be turned off, upon arrival. Only outside camera will be active 24/7

No party's are allowed and if more than allotted number of guest stay overnight, deposit will not be refunded.

We have installed a whole house water filtration system, so no hard water that tastes and looks bad or has odors. Installed 10/20 /18.

The smoke-free cabin is decorated very tastefully with country charm. You can sit back on one of the rockers and take in a nice book, or just take a swing on the porch with a loved one with a nice cold glass of lemonade, while listening to the rippling creek.

There is a wrap-around porch with a private porch off the master bedroom, a great view of the creek! The kids will love the creek, just look under a few rocks and discover all sorts of critters. Bring a pole and try some fishing, no license is required.

You might even see a beaver or turkey depending on the season.. Leave some corn for deers as they do come in the yard to feed and drink quite often.

End your day by relaxing in the jacuzzi on our deck, while doing some stargazing!

Great cabin for our visit. Enjoyed the relaxing back yard and hot tub. Loved watching the deer and hummingbirds. Will definitely come back again. Host was quick to respond. Clean cabin.

Property was great , the problem was trying to locate at night .. make sure that you locate during day because gps put us at the wrong place .. I would definitely go again

Great location; within 30-45 minutes to locations we wanted to visit. Nice cabin. Stairs to master bedroom somewhat difficult for this senior (recent knee surgery), but balcony off master bedroom was very enjoyable. Beds comfortable. Did not catch any fish, but creek was nice to listen to in evening, watching the fireflies. Overall, a great time.

Everything was just as describe and the host kept in great communication about any questions.The wifi could be better but its understandable given the location of the cabin. Overall it was a good and enjoyable stay.

The cabin is outdated. The sofa is very uncomfortable to sit on. It has a pad under the cushions for support. The creek is inaccessible and more of a drop off. The reason for picking this property was for access to the creek. Keep in mind that it is outdated and not a real creek, everything else was nice. We enjoyed our stay but disappointed in the creek. Roku is the very basic and had streaming issues. The Murphy area was perfect. The people were very friendly.

Our cabin is a beautiful place to get away. The creek is about 15 feet wide and the water level varies depending on the amount of rain we get. There is a level area near the tire swing to access the creek. We do keep a padding under our cushions to give extra support for our guest. Such a lovely cabin for our March trip to the mountains. We were lucky enough to experience all four seasons in one week! LOL! But it was so peaceful to sit and watch the snow on Monday then feel it come back around to 70 and sunny by the end of the week. Close to fabulous hiking. Murphy is a cute town with wonderful restaurants - we will absolutely come back to this cabin.

Cozy cabin, stairs were a little steep. Hot tub was great. Fireplace and fire pit very nice as well. Nice hiking fairly close. Central heat worked great.

Hello, we are Tim and Kathy Shearer and are the owners of Laurel Creek Cabin. We live in sunny south Florida with our three beautiful daughters. We love the warm weather and beach here, but we also love to get away and go to the mountains and stay at Laurel Creek. We decided to let others stay at our lovely cabin in 2004. Of course many of our close friends and family jumped into the offers we gave to them. They all loved it and that's when we opened it to all to enjoy. We decided to buy in this location because of it being in the tri-state area, meaning within minutes to TN, NC, and GA. We also liked the peacefulness and all the many places to see and do in the area. We had been coming to this area for five years and decided just to buy since we loved it so much.
