Location is 1 mile from Mount Princeton Hot Springs & Spa, 2 miles from Mt Princeton Stables Horseback Riding, 10 miles to Buena Vista, 10 miles to St Elmo Ghost Town, 20 miles to Salida, 37 miles to Monarch Ski area, 155 miles to Denver International, and within convenient driving distance of many other outdoor summer and winter activities including White Water Rafting, Kayaking, Fly Fishing, Hiking, Horseback riding, Mountain Biking, Hot Springs, Water Slide, Skiing, Snowmobiling. Golf, Bird Watching & more

Home features: Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, propane heat, large turnaround driveway parking for 2 vehicles, towels & linens provided; 5G WiFi, flat-screen TV with DVD/VHS and collection of DVD's or bring your own, ceiling fans, deck chairs, and complimentary toiletries. The Basement is limited to use only by Housekeeping for supply storage and laundry. Water is supplied by a private well on the property - from time to time it can have a mineral taste so feel free to bring bottled water if you prefer.

My stay was everything I expected and more. The host provided thorough information and checked in with me periodically to ensure all our needs were being metThe view was amazing! Pictures dont do it justice. The rental was spacious and clean and well stocked. Definitely recommend.

Gorgeous in every way! The views were unbeatable. We loved the house and the deck was beautiful. It wasn’t too far from town. (But far enough to still feel remote) We very much enjoyed visiting both Buena Vista and Salida. Would definitely recommend this property and owners to anyone looking for a beautiful escape, peacefully tucked away. Away from the crowds, but not away from civilization.

Good communication and the property was exactly what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The view is absolutely amazing! Our young girls (9 and 11) are already asking when we can come back. Directions were easy to follow.

This was an amazing location; the view is incredible! We enjoyed watching the afternoon rain showers move across the mountains. It's private yet close enough to town that you don't feel isolated. Check in and check out were easy. The property manager, Roger, was very accessible and gave assistance as needed. The cabin was very clean and amenities were as advertised. I appreciated that the non-stick pans in the kitchen were nice and not all scratched up (which has been common in some rentals we've stayed in). There is no air conditioner, so it's important to keep the windows open in the evening/night and closed during the day to keep the temperatures tolerable. Also, there are bears in the area, so be aware of your surroundings. We carried pepper spray with us when outside. A few cons: one of the bed frames was squeaky, in the upstairs bathroom it's a very tight space to get into the shower, on the deck I would have preferred regular outdoor chairs instead of adirondack chairs, but that's just because I'm north of 50. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we would stay there again. Thank you to the owners of the property for allowing us the opportunity to experience this beautiful spot in God's creation.

Beautiful views from a spectacular remote location

We had a wonderful time enjoy the nearby hot springs, hiking trails, and wildlife. I highly recommend this location to anyone that wants a spectacular view with easy access to all the outdoor activities.

Wonderful Stay with a Stunning View

Perfect location. The cabin is tucked away where you feel you are in a secluded area of the mountain. The view from the cabin is absolutely stunning. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. The check in and checkout process was one of the easiest we’ve experienced. We’ve already recommended this cabin to our close family and friends.
