Enjoy the spacious first floor of a two family home. The home boasts spacious rooms. Newly renovated bathroom and kitchen. Use of backyard and deck. Off street parking. Immaculate condition. Short or long term rental. You will enjoy the first floor of the house and the deck along with an easy walk to and around the historic Guilford green.

The charm of historic Guilford. Comfortable and very well appointed. Just a two-building walk to the beautiful Guilford Green and its shops. Tracy even has a beach pass and laundry pods. The pods were a "wow" for me, mid-vacation. I'd stay there again.

The location was fab! Just across from the iconic town green. Easy walking to several boutiques and restaurants. The house was a very old, charming, well kept place. Tracy was available if we needed. Would def stay here again.

Parking was easy! The house was clean and ready. The kitchen was so well maintained and stocked, and our host was very attentive. We love this house and hope to be back next year!

What a treat to stay in such a beautiful historic home. Great location. Guilford is quaint and charming and a true New England gem.

Location was great. More than enough parking, The path to the back porch was slabs of broken concret. The first step was not up to code, much to high, The porch was never stained or maintained, Would not walk bare footed without getting slivers. The outside table had only two chairs. The furniture was NOT what was pictured on the verbo site, Old couch with a cover, Under the cover the couch was dirty, The couch pillows slanted to the floor so you could not sit comfortly. The bathroom toilet was to low and a broken toilet seat. (Tracy did say she would replace it right away) The sink height was correct but Tracy added a glass bowl on top of the counter which made it to high, especially for 5'2" me.The bedroom bed was okay, did not care for what felt like plastic over the mattress, it crinkled every time I moved. No place to hang up our clothes.The kitchen was fine and no problems with the dining area.Nice washer and dryer in laundry room.We expected an old historical house but we also expected one that was comfortable.

The process for entering the unit was easy, and everything was ready for us. The unit is very charming and has rustic uneven floors throughout. It has its own entry in the back which is very convenient. Ideally located to discover many historic sites in Guilford! I loved staying and I will probably be back!

Paradise!

Fantastic to host our guests in a pre-1776 house. That alone was a great experience. Add right in the Guilford Green, a great host in Tracy, comfortable beds and lots of touches. We highly recommend and it will be our go-to for our house guests that can’t fit in our house.

Perfect Location and Home!

Gorgeous historic home just steps from the Guilford Green! Lovely, wide and honeyed floors; ample sunshine; roomy and well appointed spaces, with antiques alongside contemporary lighting and other furnishings. The house was spotless and well maintained, had well-functioning appliances, and we were very pleased with all aspects of our stay.

Perfect New England Charming House

We had the best time staying here. The location is perfect and you can easily walk to the town green, restaurants, shops, etc. I got married in Guilford and this was the best place I could ever imagine staying. The inside was gorgeous, and we had anything and everything we needed. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. She even had the grass moved so we could take bridal party robe pictures before our big day!!

Exceptional assistance from host. My family was staying to respond to a family emergency. Tracy responded late at night and made some calls to arrange to extend our reservation so that my sister could stay on when I needed to fly home. Her patience, kindness and quick response were so appreciated at a difficult time. We hope to rent with her again as we anticipate more trips to Guilford.

The air conditioning was wonderful. The back door should have a shade on it 2 keep out the heat in the summer. There should also b a screen door.

Great stay in a lovely Guilford home

The rental property is very well-located close to the Guilford Green and the town marina and beach. The house actually has two rental units, which we did not know about. Since it’s an old house, sound traveled quite easily through the walls and floor and we were able to hear the other renters. Aside from this, the unit was well-appointed, there was plenty of parking and the beds were comfy.

If you are going to Guilford Connecticut, this is the place to stay! It’s right off Guilford Green, a couple minutes walk from cute shops, restaurants and not too far from the train station. There’s plenty of parking. I was allowed to bring my little dog. The beds are really comfortable. There’s a washer and dryer and detergent. The kitchen is well-equipped with dishes, cookware and new appliances. The building itself was built in the 1700s and retains all of the charm while providing modern amenities. More than all of the above, the host is truly the best ever. This was my second stay in this VRBO and the responsiveness, flexibility and kindness of the host played a huge part in choosing this location a second time. If I need to rent a place to stay in Guilford again, I will return to this location and will recommend it to any family and friends needing a place to stay in the Guilford area.

So sorry to hear of any issues of discomfort. As a host I have received many positive comments on the comfort of the beds, this is first concern I have received. I know we all have different ideas on what is comfortable. This was also the first the comment on the furniture. I certainly will reevaluate. I always want my guests to be comfortable
