The house was just as described. There was a nice front porch and access to the beach, four bedrooms with double beds in the three and bunk beds in the 4th.

Great place. Beach access is very close. We really liked the aesthetic. Comfortable sleep. WiFi was really spotty at first, but we unplugged and plugged and it was perfect after that. Weather was awful, so we didn’t quite get to experience it as planned, but the sun room made a great game room.Would stay again.

Excellent vacation home! You couldn’t ask for a better location. The house was very clean and the amenities were very appreciated. My kids really enjoyed the “teen space” on the sunporch to play games or watch tv. The hosts were very responsive & shared some great local recommendations. In addition to the private beach, we were easily able to travel to Madison, Niantic, and Mystic. We had no luck surf fishing, but everything else was perfect. Thank you!

Owner was very flexible with our last minute arrival dates. Great little house. Note that beach is mostly private so while photos show large beach, much is not for use. Upstairs rooms are nice, but walls are very thin, so not really able to have it quiet for one room if others are up in another. You can hear everything.

This is a cute little beach house. The host was responsive and kind. A few things I wish we knew before booking:The road the house sits on was pretty busy, so the outside porch shown in the pics can be a bit loud on the weekends. The beach area that we had access to was VERY small and narrow, and residents are VERY strict about not crossing fencing lines. I suppose this is the beach culture in this area, but we were not aware, and even though there was only one other small group of 3 ppl on the entire stretch of beach, we were asked to leave and move over a few feet. We set up in our designated area, but we were visiting the 1st week of Oct. If this had been during the busy season, it would have been very crowded. I don't see how multiple groups of people would be able to fit.

Great Family Getaway

We had a great time visiting with family that lived in the area. Location is great, very close to area restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable. We loved the porch for relaxing in the evenings and the short walk to small private beach.

Fun place!

Close to beach, little ones loved having the Atari, plenty of space to rest after a long day of museum touring. The kids were sad to leave.

A wonderful home and great location

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. The entire experience was very smooth, from pre-check in to getting there and even offers to help with anything we needed in our stayThe cottage is very cozy and well-cared for. The rooms are comfortable and the Internet fast. There is a lot to do in the area, with New Haven nearby and many good restaurants.

Cute little house, and great for a little weekend away. It is not obvious from the listing, but it is located on a busy road, and the beach is across the street. The owner was great to work with and the house was very clean and comfortable.

Comfortable Summer Cottage for year round use

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home for a long weekend while attending the Soundside music festival. It was perfect for what we were looking for; comfortable beds, equipped kitchen and nice location. We had the entire private beach to ourselves. The owners were also quick to respond to all questions.

Sisters weekend

We had a great time. Kitchen was well stocked, we ate dinner on the outside porch every night. Beds were comfy, neighbors were friendly. Overall, a great weekend!

My houseguests stayed here with very young children. They had a great time in this house. I really like the beach that goes with this house. It is not at all crowded. The hosts were gracious, generous, accommodating and communicative. The house was very clean and had everything provided, including a Pack-n-Play! One of my guests thought the beds were very comfortable. The laundry was convenient. The kids loved the playroom with the provided coloring books, crayons, and toys. The four bedrooms made the house feel spacious enough even when there were 4 children inside. That said, there are walls between the bedrooms that are only single sheets of paneling...some even have spaces in between the panels so that you can see into a bedroom through the wall. I found the driveway very difficult to turn around in, and only 2 parking spaces on a busy road with no parking made visiting difficult.

Lovely home

This home was perfect for our needs. We grew up in Branford and we’re back to visit family. It was nice to be so close with a little room to spread out. We took our 2 young grandchildren with us and we’re so grateful for the gates for the stairs! Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was comfortable. Parking was tight but owner makes that clear up front so wasn’t a problem for us. We look forward to staying again in the future!
