Great for our family get together

This place is awesome. Everything in the description is true. Our host, Julie, was friendly and always responded quickly and helpfully. We arrived, multiple generations from different cities to a clean, well stocked, and spacious home. The bedrooms were lovely, with adjoining bathrooms, and comfortable beds. The wifi was good. The kitchen was well stocked and organized making it easy to prepare group meals which we enjoyed at a long dining area table. The porch was great for morning coffee and the fire pit perfect for evening s’more production and stargazing. The grounds and the pond were beautiful. On the first morning we saw a heron fly off as we approached. We enjoyed floating in the rafts, swimming, and spotting a variety of creatures including frogs, butterflies and dragonflies. I highly recommend our host and this home.

Beautiful place in a beautiful setting!

The place is just lovely, very well designed with 6 bedrooms each with its own attached bath. The common rooms are perfect for both quiet spots and group gatherings, and the view from the porch is great. Julie is a gracious host and helpful with every question I had, and when we needed extra help her crew was prompt and gracious.

New Year’s Eve getaway

Perfect house for our family—-parents and adult children New Year’s Eve get-away. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom! Kitchen Dining area and living room perfect for spending time together cooking, playing games or just relaxing by fireplace. Cute towns to explore and hiking available nearby. Host was quickly responsive to any of our questions or needs.

The Giordano Family Catskills Reunion 2021

The Pandemic of 2020 has affected all of us in many ways and with our family, isolation was difficult. In The Catskills we were all together for the first time since the Pandemic began. The house had an amazing lay-out, 7 bedrooms (6 with a television and 5 with a private bathroom!), a wonderful private pond for swimming and floating, and beautiful areas to hike! We had such a memorable time. Our Host, Julie, was easy to communicate with and always responded immediately! We would love to book this house again!!!

Spacious and serene!

I traveled with 14 friends (ages 25-32) to celebrate the 4th of July. We had a wonderful getaway and enjoyed all of the amenities this house offers (pond, boats/canoes, campfire, outdoor games, indoor/outdoor living, pizza oven, tons of seating, the list goes on). This house truly has everything you could need. Only two small negatives: 1) the house has no air conditioning which was unexpected. Luckily it was not too hot during our stay (65-80 during the day) so it was comfortable with the windows open. If it was hotter it may have been very warm indoors. They did provide a lot of fans just in case. 2) the owners apartment is directly under the house. This was not an issue during our stay, we were just surprised by the setup and were nervous with such a large group it could get loud. Overall I would absolutely stay again and have already recommended it to family and friends!

Perfect House for Two Families

We were looking for a house with plenty of space, both inside and outside, for two families (10 total) and Julie’s house was absolutely perfect for us. We spent days just being on the property playing games we brought or hanging out on the deck. Day trips included some hikes and visiting some of the towns close by. Everyone had plenty of space and the evenings were spent at the very sizeable fire pit. We loved the wide open first floor and almost every bedroom having a bathroom was a great touch. Julie is an excellent communicator and I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice mountain escape.

Perfect location: incredible views

Spent a long wkd at this house with three families total (6 adults, 8 kids). The house was a perfect size for our group. Very private, huge property, and beautiful mountain views. The house is just a short 5 min drive to Platekill mountain and only 22 minutes from Belleayre Mountain: two very good family friendly ski mountains. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Ski Trip - Long weekend

We were thrilled with our recent stay! The house had great flow, was clean, beautiful views, good mattresses and all of the essentials that we needed for our stay, such as pots, pans, glasses, etc., linens, clean towels, etc (which is often overlooked). The location was great to ski mountains...we ended up just going to Platteville because it’s literally 4 min away and it was perfect for us. We’ll be back for sure and highly recommend...Julie was great to work with

Friends Get Away

What an absolute Gem! I've already reached out about staying here next year. Clean, great location for skiing at Belleayre and plenty of room for everyone. We even went sledding in the backyard. It snowed while we were there and Julie texted me to let us know that they would be over in the morning to dig us out. Any text or question I had was answered promptly and professionally. We all loved it - If you're on the fence - book it!

Great family spot in the Catskills

Julie was a gracious host that checked on our status throughout the stay. House is setup perfect, we traveled with two families (total of seven children) and there was more than enough room to accommodate. All five bedrooms upstairs have their own full bathroom and tv, one bedroom downstairs has half bath right next door. House is in pristine shape and the downstairs is large enough that even with 11 of us, we never felt like we were on top of one another - brand new boardgames, cards, chess available. Kitchen is really nice, appliances all new. Gas fireplace worked perfectly. Two dryers are a nice touch for drying clothes after skiing. Side garage has really nice looking lofted bedroom (we didn't stay in there) and an awesome large gym with full rubber floors, mirror walls, treadmills, small weights and mini trampolines! They also had pathway/driveway plowed when it snowed which was obviously very helpful. All in all great experience just a 3 minute drive to Plattekill mountain down the road, would come back again with no hesitation.
