This home is centrally located within a stone's throw to the highway exit in the heart of the City of Richmond!

This spacious 2000+ sqft house offers an open floor plan with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths! The living room provides a warm cozy atmosphere with a double-sided fireplace! The spacious first-floor master bedroom w/ fireplace suite is perfect for any guest. The fully equipped kitchen with a commercial oven keeps our guests coming back! During the summer seasonal use of the main attraction features a pool and hot tub. The property is fully secured with an alarm system and four outdoor cameras which record 24/7. The cameras are located outside in the front, side, and backyard.

December 2024 trip

Really nice property with lots of space. Set up was a little odd. The only entrance to the backyard was through a bedroom, and you could see into the master bedroom through the fireplace. The master bath was amazing.

Üble Küche und Wasserqualität der beiden Pools schlecht

Das Haus ist sehr groß. Die Küche war sehr dreckig. Vor allen Dingen in den Schränken.Zudem waren diese sehr unordentlich. Es gab kaum brauchbare Töpfe und Pfannen.Töpfe oder Pfannen.

Great Host!!!

The host was fantastic. House is spacious. Kitchen is huge & we loved the fiddle. Pool needed some work & host was quick to get it fixed. Very quiet neighborhood. Back yard is very private & secluded. The cleaning lady could do a better job but that is not the hosts fault. If you want to use the gas grill be sure to mention that to the host.

It was just ok

The house served the purpose I needed. It was very comfortable for sleeping and is spacious for entertaining. However… The pool needed to be cleaned and water added before I invited people over. The yard needs a lot of work. The drain in the downstairs shower was clogged. The keys were not all available. Old food in the refrigerator and cabinets. I don’t think I’d stay again.

Fit for a milestone framily Bday celebration!

The space was wonderful for the way I wanted to celebrate my birthday with family and friends! We played group games with up to 12 people in the living room and a playlist from YouTube in the background. The kitchen is impressive. My friends who came who are parents didn’t bring their children this time but appreciated knowing the space can accommodate them. There is ample parking on the pavement next to the house and on the street in front. My fave feature was the shower in the master bedroom! I may come back in the spring to use the hot tub and pool. Some of my locally based family members were impressed with the property.

Holiday Stay

Overall the house was great, plenty of space for 7 of us. Had all the extras we needed for washing clothes, etc. The gate out front was nice to secure our vehicles at night. Close to highways, shopping and downtown. Only drawback for us was the second bedroom downstairs didn't have a door.

COCKROACHES

The cockroaches were just the start of our issues. The owner obviously knew that she had issues with them, because there were multiple traps, and white powder all over the floors and in the drawers throughout the kitchen. There was even a business card for an exterminator on the kitchen counter… Multiple things were broken: the railing around the pool, the door in the upstairs bathroom, the shower door upstairs, the back door!!! There were no dish towels. There was one roll of paper towel and 3 rolls of toilet paper for 4 guests for 5 days. When looking for dish towels a cockroach ran out of the drawer. The dishwasher smelled like dirty socks. The kitchen was a mess - dirty dishes, dirty utensils, grease all over the cooking area, someone else’s food left out by the grill. There were dirty smudges on the walls in the bedrooms. The drains didn’t drain in the shower. Invasion of privacy — There were cameras over the hot tub!! The neighborhood was not great, but I did feel mostly safe during our stay. The only positive things I can say is that it was close to the expressway and the backyard was beautiful.

Very spacious & clean! I think my favorite area was the kitchen! I look forward to booking again! Close to the highway and love the gate for the driveway to keep your vehicles safe.

Cleanliness and Property Maintenance Must Be King

Our low rating is based primarily on the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the property. The space was good, the bath (soaps, shampoos, towels, etc.) and kitchen amenities (dishes, pans, paper towels, dish-soap, etc.) were plentiful, as was the outdoor seating. The secure off-street parking was comforting and the property location was convenient. However, the cleanliness and maintenance of some kitchen items, the dining room, the outdoor area and the swimming pool left us unable to feel comfortable in the space. Indoors: (some but not all examples) *We washed *everything*. Dirty wine glass. A cracked stemless wine glass. A *filthy* dining table cloth. *The lower front vent on the stove fell off when I was standing in front of it looking around to figure out how to turn on the recessed kitchen ceiling lights. It had been repaired with scotch tape instead of a heat resistant tape. Outdoors: *One of the reasons we rented the house was for our grandchildren to use the pool. They usually spend hours swimming but after a short period of time, our 9-year old got out because the water was murky and she saw mold/algae at the bottom on the left side of the pool. She was wearing goggles. Later, my son-in-law saw a hair clump and trash. That drove him and my grandson out. *Stack of dead bugs left by the bug zapper in the seating area. *Two old rusted, uncleaned chairs by the pool. *Metal pool trim broken/disconnected could lead to injuries. This is a beautiful property to stay!! Us girls had so much fun in the pool,hottub & just hanging on the deck! Just the break we needed from mom life!! Great location near stores & lots of great food places! Highly recommend it. Maria(the host) was very sweet & accommodating. Great place!

Richmond Reunion

This was a family gathering to memorialize the passing of our 32 year niece in June 2022. It gave the family (Mother, sister and son as well as cousins, aunts and uncles) a chance to heal.

Spring break

Maria was a wonderful host. She let us check in early and the communication between her and I was awesome. The house was nice and clean, and the bedrooms was magnificent. The beds were so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave. The jacuzzi and we’re great and the kids loved it. I would definitely recommend this house and also look forward to staying there again.

I loved everything about this house! It was beautiful! It definitely is bigger than it looks on the outside. It's very spacious and clean. The host was very helpful and I hope to stay again for a future event. Some of my guest inquired about the information to book the home as well. 10/10 recommend!

Clean and convenient location

Maria was extremely responsive and the property was accurately listed. There were lots of extras on site like cribs and baby swings - crockpots - and more . We were attending a family wedding and this was close to downtown and area attractions. The place was clean but could use a deep cleaning of walls and doors & needs a few updates but we did feel comfortable. The day we left we were out of toilet paper and there were no hand towels. Overall I would recommend this place. It had an open kitchen family room area which was a nice place to gather and we did use the hot tub. The outdoor area and pool would be nice to use in the summer time. Again our host Maria reached out as soon as we checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The area is not the greatest however we were aware of that up front and the property does have an alarm system an several exterior camera.

don't judge a book by its cover

While the neighborhood looks a little iffy, the house is very nice. Spacious & comfortable it has everything you need. The house was easy to get comfortable in, the kitchen was a dream to cook in, the shower was fun & we enjoyed the hot tub. The dogs loved the backyard and the front yard. We made friends with the neighbors, who were all very nice.

Great for a weekend away

We had a great weekend in Richmond thanks to Maria! She was so kind and helpful when we reached out to her. The place had an amazing kitchen, plenty of sleeping space, and nice outdoor patio.

Great place to stay

The house is located right off of the highway. It is a very nice looking property clean and spacious. There was only 4 of us but we could have easily fit 4 more. The neighborhood was not that esthetically pleasing but the neighbors were friendly and inviting and this was the best looking house on the street by far. When I first got to the house I couldn't get in but the property owner took care of me within 5 minutes. She also checked on us throughout our stay. The house Immenities were great. There was a huge commercial stove, griddle and oven combo. We could have literally cooked Thanksgiving dinner there. The water pressure and hot water in the shower was amazing. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning to stay in the Richmond area!

Wedding trip

Easy in and out. Very convenient to our wedding venue (Manik Mansion) and to downtown Richmond. Surrounding neighborhood appears low income, but felt secure. Nice amenities in the home
