The historic Barracks has been very well restored. The accommodations are beautiful, well maintained and comfortable.

The house is beautiful with lots of open space. Especially love the kitchen and family room as they open up to each other which makes for easy group conversations. House in general needs some TLC in some areas as there is some chipped paint here and there. Overall a wonderful place that essentially located and only about a 5-minute walk to the ocean.

House is huge, on a walkable island to bars and the beach. The kitchen is massive to host plenty of people (we even hired a private chef!). Bathroom attached to every room is a plus. Plenty of beds!

Our Girl Scout group had an excellent stay here while visiting Tybee and Savannah. The layout is great for large friend and family groups. Some favorite features were the large kitchen with plenty of equipment for cooking together, walking distance to most of our Tybee activities, and an awesome view of the lighthouse. Highly recommend!

Everything worked out perfectly. The house was perfect for a large family. We especially loved the large table in the kitchen which accommodated the whole family for dinner and games. We all enjoyed our visit to Tybee.Johnathon was a perfect host and answered all our questions at the beginning of our visit.

Wedding weekend

We stayed at this beautiful house for my son’s wedding weekend. All the groomsmen stayed with us and the house was perfect!! I would highly recommend!!

The location was perfect...5 minute short walk to beach. House suited our family of 16 very well. Allowed us to celebrate our 50th anniversary/family reunion. Allowed us to have great seperation for teen space and adult space. Balcony off the kitchen/family room was also so wonderful for gatherings while still being close to family.

Wonderful stay

Our group of 8 ladies in a book club really enjoyed the spaciousness and cleanliness of this house. We all had comfortable and uncrowded accommodations and loved the kitchen, clearly built for multiple cooks! Great weather and so welcome in early February, perfect for beach walks. Not oceanfront but otherwise a great house!

Lovely Long Weekend

We came in for the Tybee Runfest. It was perfect for our large group and we had an amazing time. The owner was wonderful at responding and helping us with anything we needed.

Large home, accommodates large groups, kitchen has everything you can think of. Close to beach.

Friends Reunion

Perfect place for five couples in their 60's vacationing together. Great kitchen with beautiful views. Lovely neighborhood, and close to beach and the city of Savannah.

Exceptional value. It was a Family Reunion; the last one was 8 years ago; since then, we have lost both Parents, and one dear, sweet wife/SIL. Much better than the Cruise our Mom took us all on, 12 years ago. This house MORE THAN Delivers. Short walk(or drive) to the beach, Restaurants, historical locations, and shopping (grocery and local art/crafts). The elevator was exceptionally helpful for luggage, food, and people. LOTS of bedrooms and other sleeping areas. Stunning views from the rooftop, porches, and the expansive windows. One of THE most important features was the 8 bathrooms. Host is a great communicator; however, VRBO experienced system issues, and the host had to communicate differently. I was disappointed in VRBO. We had such a great 9 days that we think we would like to come back in a couple of years. DON'T put it off... secure Serenity for your family or your next friend's get-together!

Great house...

We just left today and are ready to return tomorrow; this house is just perfect. In fact, we're talking about going again with some friends. Plenty of room, excellent floor plan, great kitchen and great room, this place has it all.

Great place for a long weekend getaway!

Eight of us stayed for a long weekend in February, weather was not great, but we did not care. Kitchen is FABULOUS!! Only (very small) complaint is lack of mixing bowls.

Hi - glad you enjoyed your stay! I had just purchased several mixing bowls and left them there a few weeks ago - I will talk to my housekeeper and see if she can put them somewhere where they will easily be found!

Amazing wedding weekend!!

My bridal party and I stayed here for the wedding weekend and this house was absolutely perfect! So much space to fit everyone, so it never felt crowded. We loved the rooftop hot tub and grill. All rooms were spotless and beautiful! Would recommend to anyone looking for a lot of space on this beautiful island!

Kitchen well equipped, and plenty of room for a large gathering! (There were 9 of us.) Loved the roof-top deck, especially at night for star gazing!

Wedding week

My daughter was married in Savannah on the 16th of September, and we gathered with extended family on Tybee prior to the wedding. Everything was just perfect, the house is just as described and we will definitely look into renting here again!
