Tree-studded scenery surrounds this classic, secluded cabin with modern amenities and a wraparound deck. Oakmont Lodge 802 is a 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom vacation rental nestled inside Chalet Village Resort in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. You will be within minutes of the ski slopes of Ober, downtown attractions, boutiques, eateries, and the national park!

At the cabin, unwind in the rec room that features a media space with a flatscreen TV plus Blu-ray/DVD players, a cool pool table, and a barrel-style arcade unit. In the living room, there's another TV setup for added entertainment plus a stone (gas) fireplace for cozier evenings in the Smoky Mountains. You can whip up meals in the fully equipped kitchen with an island to enjoy at the gorgeous dining table. Or fire up the charcoal grill for a fun barbecue in the Smokies!

Relax in the steamy hot tub outside or draw a hot bath in the copper soaking tub inside. You can tap into the high speed Wi-Fi anytime and play board games with family and friends. There's also a loft with a sitting area for more space to spread out, read, or chat. Ready for bed? Slip away into a mix of 2 king, 1 queen, and 2 twin beds. Additional amenities include an outdoor table, rocking chairs, a washer and dryer, flat and paved parking, plus keyless entry. Oakmont Lodge 802 has it all…and then some!

Great Cabin

The cabin was perfect! We had 2 vehicles and a trailer and had plenty of room to park all. We had a visit from a bear that will try to open your car doors, so keep doors locked. You can hike right from the cabin and have peace and quiet!

Beautiful cabin.

We have stayed at this property before. It’s very clean and well equipped. Close to town yet very private. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

The chalet is at steep slope and very dangerous to ride a car on the slope.

Easter Weekend 2021

My family and I came for a long Easter weekend. The cabin was clean, spacious, comfortable, and in an excellent location. The hot tub was nice and worked great. You might want to bring extra towels if using the hot tub with a full house.

Secluded in the woods

We loved our week at this property. Close to Smoky Mtn National Park, close to Gatlinburg but very quiet and secluded. We enjoyed the woods, the wildlife and not hearing other cars or humans. Wonderful location.

Escaping the outages!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had to escape Nashville because of the storms and the power/internet outage we suffered at home. The lodge was a perfect retreat to escape the chaos and allowed us to social distance in Peace! We saw the bear family that came to visit one night during dinner and we were able to hike the park (it opened on Saturday). It was perfect!

We enjoyed the Cove Mtn trail being so close to the cabin - we were on it nearly every day! And it was only a minute from Gatlinburg. Lots of storage space, well equipped kitchen. Given we were there as quarantine was starting, we spent extra time in the cabin with our 5 children, and it really was perfect.

Perfect in every way

Brand new, beautiful cabin. Location was spectacular - remote enough to feel secluded, yet super close to Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mtn National Park. Right on the Cove Mtn trail, which we were on nearly every day. The cabin has wonderful gathering places - we played games, did puzzles, and watched movies in the family rooms on all 3 floors at various times. The wrap around porch is awesome and was good for a few meals when it warmed up. Comfortable beds, rooms all have ceiling fans, temp was comfortable, master bath has a cool copper tub, there is a vintage arcade game console downstairs, there are big closets, TVs are all Smart TVs. The eating area is big! Kitchen is well-stocked. Refrigerator is huge! The grill outside is nice And they provided a grill tool set. Top notch in every single way.

Couples Weekend

We had a group of 4 couples. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house is really nice and the kitchen is well appointed. Great location, close to town but no close neighbors. The only complaint we had was there could be a little more seating in the main level living room. The staff at Challey Village was very friendly.

Perfect Cabin and Location

This cabin is amazing. There are no other homes in sight. You truly feel you are in the woods. The cabin appears very new and the location is perfect. We were able to go to the small store minutes away or go into Gatlinburg. Because it is on the park side of town, we could hit the bypass and enter the mountains without going through town and hitting all the traffic. I loved how far out of town we felt but yet we had such a short drive to anywhere we wanted to go. The deck and rocking chairs were great for relaxing in the morning and evening. I couldn’t have been more pleased.
