A large tasteful condo in a quiet, residential complex with a shared tropical pool. Located close to Padre Blvd and yet less than a block from the beach, you are never too far from the Gulf or the South Padre Island entertainment area. Conveniently enjoy the best of both sides of the island!

Imagine yourself relaxing with a refreshing beverage poolside or enjoying a leisurely stroll along the beach. This South Padre Island vacation getaway is tastefully decorated with contemporary furnishings and a tropical flair and features an open living space that leads out to your own private balcony. This spacious condo is perfect for two couples, with or without children.

You will be staying within walking distance of several restaurant venues on South Padre Island, so you may choose to dine-out every night. But, if you want to stay in and cook, you will enjoy a beautiful kitchen that is fully-equipped as well as a grill on the balcony. A washer and dryer and 2 assigned tandem parking spaces add the final touches to make this the perfect location for your stress-free South Padre Island getaway.

The property was nice, the weather not so much so unfortunately we did not get to use the pool.

Property was nice and location was right in the misfire of the island.

Very nice condo with a great location.

My husband and I stayed at Cara del Sol for 3 weeks in January 2024. The condo was only a block from beach access, clean and cheery, and had everything we needed for a great and relaxing stay.

Home away from home

So glad we chose to book with Padre Getaways. Check in was super easy! The property was very clean and had everything we needed! Super close distance to the beach and our toddlers loved the pool for extra water time. Will definitely be booking with them again!

Had a great time

We had a great time. Condo was clean and had everything that we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking which was a bonus as I always bring kitchen ware. The property is as advertised.

Comfortable Property

The property was well maintained inside and outside. The home was comfortable and supplied with everything needed. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Pool was clean and nice area to sit around pool. Pet friendly too. I would reurn.

We were given unit 7 but when we arrived at night at the location, the numberings were very confusing. We saw two units marked as 1 and me, my wife and 4 small kids spent almost half an hour searching for the unit. When we finally called the emergency line, we got in touch with the owners who tried to guide us but that went no where. They finally decided to drive over to the property and while they were on their way , me and my wife noticed that one of the units marked as a 1 had a slightly different angle. We tried the key and it unlocked. So the gist of it is that the number depicted on the unit as a 7 never looked like that, it appeared as 1 and this caused a lot of confusion for us. When they finally appeared, the lady was polite but the gentleman (maybe her husband) was extremely rude with us. I tried to explain to him the number did not appear like a 7 and he neither acknowledged the bad design nor apologized for the inconvenience (even the lady didn't apologize). The man kept saying its a 7 in a rude tone in front of my wife and kids, and didn't listen to anything I had to say. The lady sensed the person's rudeness and immediately asked him to calm down and they went away. This is terrible customer experience. Other than that, the the property was in great shape, clean and the checkout was smooth, since we dealt directly with the management.If these are the owners of the property they need to do a better job in dealing with renters and use correct markings.

Grieving and Grateful

The property was exactly what my family needed at the time. We had just suffered through a very traumatic loss and needed to get away as a distraction. The process was pretty seamless and the property was affordable/well maintained.

Annual Family Vacation

First time staying at this condo and we really love the property and it’s location. The condo was very clean and everything we needed they had there. Pool was clean and maintained very well. The staff was great and always committed with us. The walk to the beach was close by and my family didn’t mind the walk. We are definitely recommending this condo to family and friends. Hope we are able to stay at this one next year.

Mixed feelings

The place is really nice and we’ll appointed. It was clean as far as kitchen, bathrooms, sheets, floor but the place is in need of a deep cleaning. The couch is stained and to gross to sit on. I covered it with a sheet. The rugs are in need of actual cleaning, not just vacuuming and the doors and walls need to be washed down. I don’t want to give a bad review as the place was nice just needs some TLC.

Fabulous

The Condo was a perfect place right in the center of south Padre. It usually only took us about five minutes to get to anywhere we needed to go. You walked down the block and you were at the beach and when you didn’t have the energy you could just walk down the stairs to a pool. Would definitely recommend this condo!!!
