Guest can expect a quiet lake experience and one of the greatest sunsets imaginable. With a large lakeside deck and fire pit the lake life will be yours to enjoy. Prairie Lake is an all sports lake which hosts many species of fish such as Pike, Bluegill and Bass. Comfy & cozy, Life is better at the Lake!

This was our 2nd year booking this home. Loved every minute. Nice quiet lake with absolutely beautiful sunsets. Matt is a great host and I look forward to booking for next year.

The host was very friendly and accommodating quick responses. If we had questions the property looked exactly like the pictures very clean neat. we enjoyed the Twink setting and the beautiful sunsets. We will definitely stay here again next year when we visit Marshall, Michigan.

Myself, my husband, our daughter and my sister in law went for the Bewitching Peddlers Art show in Marshall. We chose Matt's house so we could make a tiny vacation out of it. The lake was so calming and wonderful, the house was abundant with rustic charm, and Matt could not have been a more wonderful host. We could have happily stayed forever, but work was waiting.This cottage reminded me of the cottage that I spent many summers in with my family when I was a kid. I have not felt that relaxed in far too long, and it was just amazing. We will definitely come back! Thank you Matt, for some beautiful relaxation and being so great! We did not want to leave!

This was a very cute and cozy place with a great view of the water and nature. It was exactly as described in the pictures and me and my boyfriend were very satisfied with our stay. Depending on your phone company you may not have service but there are plenty of games and a tv to keep you occupied.

This was the most pet friendly place we have stayed. The host was prompt with questions and advise of places to eat and purchase items needed. The window AC units were a little noisy but keep kept the place cool had to shut the bedroom unit off to sleep. We would definitely stay here again and the area is nice enough to plan a trip just to visit the area again and stay here. Very pleased with our stay.

Host was great and took good care of us. The property was beautiful and right on the lake. Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of stairs from parking to the house but otherwise mostly flat. The neighbors were even friendly. :)

Great little house on the lake for 2 families. Host was super responsive and helpful. House is fully stocked with cooking utensils and bedding! Plenty of games and puzzles to keep you entertained during cold days! :)

Lake Cabin on Prairie Lake

Our cabin was very nice and cozy plus it came with a beautiful setting...lake front! The cabins nearby were nice as well with friendly visitors. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Great accommodations, great location. Outstanding host. My pets enjoyed the stay as much as I did.

Relaxing stay

Perfect getaway on the lake!Go kayaking, fishing, or just enjoy the place. This place has everything one may neeed. Matt is just awesome and very welcoming!He spent time with us teaching us some new fishing techniques as well. Such an amazing time and place.

We booked for a 2 night stay for our son who had a track meet at a local college. After a check in mix up (A Vrbo issue, not our host) everything was exactly as described. Our host Matt went above and beyond to get us settled once everything was taken care of. Even bringing clean towels down late at night to make sure we had everything. We weren't there much as most of our weekend was at the track. But overall everything was great and wouldn't hesitate to book with Matt again if we are ever out that way.

This is our Family's cabin that we are willing to share with you. I am a retired teacher and coach from local school. This is a property that we use as well. Instead of it sitting empty when not in use we are opening it up for the public to enjoy.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

The property is located close to Albion and Olivet Colleges for families coming from out of town. It is a comfy cozy family owned cottage that should be perfect for "a guys weekend of fishing" or for the annual "ladies get away." It would be perfect for a summer vacation for those who love water sports, fishing and relaxing. The cabin is lived in and used frequently, so you can feel comfortable with pets and kids. We don't cry over spilled milk and hope our guest will reciprocate with kindness and understanding if they find a few flaws during your stay. The owner lives only a few miles away and will go above and beyond to make sure you have what is necessary to make your stay enjoyable.
