Great home!

This home was perfect for our family. Lots of sleeping options to accommodate our needs. So many fun toys/activities provided by the hosts and the kids were big fans of the s’mores station! The water was quite high when we arrived and therefore the mosquitoes were VERY active, but we recognize that that is out of everyone’s control. On the plus side, the home had some extra bug spray when ours ran out! Beds were super comfortable and everything in the home was clean and well taken care of. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely views of the Lake

Loved this place. It's so nice that you have great views of the lake from the living area and master bedroom so it feels like "you're there" even when inside. Beds are really comfortable, and the cookware was in great condition. We enjoyed the YouTube tv offered. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Although there are neighbors, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves during the week. On the weekends, neighbors were quiet, respectful. The lake is great for taking out a kayak, because there wasn't a lot of motor boats, especially during the week. Would definitely return.

Sunsets and comforts of home

We drove from Massachusetts to enjoy a week by the lake. We found Lakeside Bliss to be bright, clean and welcoming. It was so nice to have what we needed. There are plenty of towels (though we always want extra washcloths) and beach towels (we brought our own anyway. We found waterproof cell phone protectors, and binoculars available to use. We needed adult life jackets and an umbrella for the picnic table, and the owners got them for us and set up the umbrella, in a day. The beds were very comfortable, so my kids (17 and 13) chose to share a bed rather than sleep on the pullout. We enjoyed using the kayaks and SUP, especially at sunset. We spent time on the deck and the sunporch. We even watched a lightning storm from the safety of the sun porch. Much cornhole was played and most meals were eaten in. Having the washing machine was a nice addition, though the dryer takes a long time. It was an enjoyable week, but a lot driving is needed to check out points of interest, like Holland, Grand Rapids and Lake Huron. The owners were very helpful and accommodating )
