Clean, spacious, bed was very comfortable, beautiful view of lake. Short drives to stores and restaurants. Kitchen well equipped for our need.

We absolutely loved our stay! The layout of the house is nice and open and was the perfect little getaway for our family reunion weekend. We even got to watch our 11 month old officially become a walker while there and our 2 year old daughter loved feeling like a big kid with her own bedroom with a king size bed. The view of the lake was beautiful and my mom cried multiple times remembering staying on duck lake as a kid. We would absolutely come stay again! Thank you for having such a beautiful home we could call ours for a few days!

Duck Lake

Very well appointed, nicest I have seen. They have thought of everything: TVs in every room, ample plugs and phone ports, and a well-supplied kitchen.

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO! The house was spacious, beautiful, and extremely clean from top to bottom. We were a group of nine, including a child, and there was more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable. The bedroom setup worked perfectly, and the pull-out bed was a great added bonus.One of the highlights was definitely the lakeside view — it was absolutely beautiful and made mornings and evenings especially relaxing. The home was well-maintained, comfortable, and perfect for a larger group gathering. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely come back again!The only drawback was that it was a bit frustrating to have to do such extensive cleaning before checkout while also being charged a cleaning fee. Because we weren’t sure how thoroughly the space needed to be cleaned in order to avoid any issues with the security deposit, we ended up spending quite a bit of time cleaning before leaving, which added some stress at the end of the trip.

Family Fun on the Lake

Perfect size for our party of 10! Space for multiple cooks in the kitchen. Excptional wifi for downtime. Sandy, shallow water with steps for easy in and out. Available boat rental was dropped off at our dock. Friendly neighbors, and quiet time was just that. Hope to stay again in the future! Thanks so much for your hospitality!!

Excellent Property & Perfect for families!

We stayed for two nights with our family of 8 and it was excellent! The very large area of shallow water was perfect for our toddlers/small kids to splash and play in the sand, while the kayaks were perfect for us and our older kids to get out further on the lake. Beautiful lake scenery and very quiet and peaceful. The rooms and living spaces were spacious for our big family and everything was extremely clean and well kept. Host was extremely communicative and provided lots of information on nearby shopping, restaurants, and things to do as well as an organized check in/out procedure. Our family was sad to only have two nights on Duck Lake and we would come back again to stay at Penny's Sandy Cove!
