This is an ideal perch for Paris if you are interested in the social fabric. You look out upon over a thousand years of history with Notre Dame just over the river in the distance, the City Hall with its park-like square and carrousel out front, and the bustling street scene from rue de Rivoli below. The unit came with an assortment of spices, coffee, tea, and olive oil. Really, it is a perfect kitchen set up. We were able to cook for ourselves and eat out at wonderful neighborhood bistros as well. The beds were so comfy and clean. The bathtub will be missed. We enjoyed a meal and the view of the Eiffel Tower at Terraza Mikuna, a rooftop resto on the BHV Marais department store just next door.

Perfect week in Paris. Large apartment with cool A/C during a heat wave. Every amenity you would need with a spectacular view of city life.

This apartment is EPIC. The location is perfect for getting anywhere. So many amazing restaurants and shops right around it, and the neighborhood is so fun and filled with locals and tourists alike. Even though Rue de Rivoli is a busy street, we got a peaceful night’s sleep every night. Jean-Michel and Nicole were extremely responsive and helpful throughout our trip (for instance, when I accidentally locked our passports in the safe without a code!). We can’t wait to come back.

We absolutely loved our stay in this apartment. It was clean and had everything that we needed. The Metro was right outside the door and there was a taxi stand right around the corner. It had a great location to all the sights! The air conditioning was a nice perk as it was warmer in Paris than we expected. Our host was very helpful, accommodating, and very friendly! I highly recommend this apartment! You won't be disappointed!! We can't wait to stay here again and enjoy this beautiful city once more!

We had a beautiful stay in Paris. The apartment is perfectly located. The entire apartment is exceptionally appointed- beds were comfortable, the apartment is incredibly clean and well stocked. It provided the perfect place for our family (2 adults in our 40s and two children, ages 9 and 10) to explore Paris. I would absolutely recommend this apartment and Jean-Michel to anyone considering spending time in this beautiful City!

Great Stay

Great apartment in a wonderful location, a metro stop is directly outside the door and there is an excellant bakery around the corner we had breakfast at every morning. The air conditioner works well.

The property was very comfortable and great location. So many shops and restaurants to walk to and the metro is so convenient. The apartment was fully stocked and so charming. We are from Florida and were very impressed with the A/C. The master bed was very comfortable.

Our 5th Time

We've stayed in the Lafayette five times since 2013 and every time we walk through the door, it feels like home. The Marais is the perfect neighborhood in Paris and we wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay with easy access to many sights. Apartment was comfortable with lots of activities just outside our window on the Hotel de Ville square. Easy in and out.

Beautiful property, great location! We loved the apartment.. lots of room for the three of us. Looked exactly like the pictures and was comfortable and charming. Highly recommend.

This apartment was perfection. Location was excellent. Size of apartment was very comfortable for a family of 4. The washer/dryer came in handy as we traveled light. Very good communication with owner. AC worked well and was much needed after hot days exploring. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Great location for first time Paris visit!

Everything was excellent with this property. So many good shops and restaurants in the Marias neighborhood and only a few minutes walk to N Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, etc… In a bustling location with some street noise at night but not past midnite and never a serious problem. Would definitely stay again here if we return to Paris.
