Welcome to Cayuga Hill Homestead, your dream retreat nestled in the picturesque Finger Lakes region, just 10 miles south of Ithaca, NY. This custom-built 3,000 sq. ft. timber frame home offers a cozy escape for families and friends with its four bedrooms and a shared sleeping space in the finished basement, accommodating up to 12 guests.

Indulge your culinary senses in the fully stocked custom chef's kitchen or unwind in the hot tub while enjoying breathtaking hill and meadow views. The open-concept design with barn wood details, adorned with numerous windows, brings the beauty of the outdoors inside.

Entertainment awaits in the basement with ping pong, poker, darts, foosball, and an array of board games. Stream your favorite shows or catch up on some remote work with our high speed fiber optic internet. For outdoor enthusiasts, a wood-fired pizza oven, fire pit, and various yard games provide endless possibilities. Embrace the warmth of the wood stove during chilly evenings, and enjoy the convenience of two full bathrooms and a washer/dryer.

With a 12-acre property and a tranquil setting on a quiet country road, Cayuga Hill Homestead invites you to create lasting memories in a serene and peaceful environment. Your ideal escape in the heart of nature awaits!

Please note that access to the property is limited to registered guests, ensuring an intimate and exclusive experience. We have one outside security camera to ensure the safety of our guests. Dogs are welcome for an additional cost, allowing your furry friends to join in the beauty of all seasons. **Available for small events for an extra cost pending approval from hosts.**

Beautiful, Well-Built Home

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cayuga Hill Homestead. The hosts communicated promptly and left thoughtful check-in gifts and notes. Everyone who used the kitchen remarked on how well-outfitted it is. The house as a whole is well-appointed. Children especially enjoyed all of the board games, the foosball and ping pong tables, and the soaking tubs, Unlike many Vrbo homes, this house looked and felt new and luxurious. We hope to return in the future.

Great Experience

This was by far the best VRBO we have ever been at. The owners were responsive, respectful of our privacy and have literally thought of everything. The property was clean and had everything you would need for a day or a week and then some. highlhoghly.recommend

Amazing in Every Way

This is easily one of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed in, with so much to offer – it's incredibly clean, comfortable, and charming. Daura and Jamal are fantastic hosts and have thought of everything. From the thoughtful notes, to the multiple well-placed refrigerators, to the throw blankets near the many couches and chairs. Not to mention the sound machines in every bedroom. The house itself has a lot of character and we marveled at the architecture. As others have said, the kitchen is very well stocked, which we took full advantage of. We also really enjoyed the hot tub, which was very well maintained. The views are beautiful and despite being remote, there's a great pizza place only 10 minutes away (Covered Bridge Market & Pizzeria – highly recommended!) We really couldn't have asked for anything more – this place is one of a kind.

Great place to stay

Great very clean , great place to hang out , has all the extras that you might of forgotten when packing . Loved the wood fire pizza and the fire pit . Kids loved the hot tub.

Another Great Stay!

This was our second stay at the Cayuga Homestead! Despite the rainy weather, everything was excellent. We enjoyed the TV on the main floor and watched many movies and relaxed. Kids had fun playing games in the basement. Kitchen had everything we needed and we took advantage of the waffle maker this time. What a hit! Excellent communication from Daura. Highly recommend!

Family Thanksgiving

My children, grandchildren, and I thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay at this beautiful home. It not only had the necessities, but it also had many extras like houseplants, an aroma diffuser, all the lotions and soaps we could use, games and activities, etc. There was plenty of kitchen equipment for us to make Thanksgiving dinner, pancakes, pizza, etc. And it is beautiful!

fabulous farmhouse in the finger lakes

We so enjoyed our stay at this wonderful property! This home was so comfortable, great kitchen, well equipped, beautiful great room with fantastic views. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed all of the outdoor spaces. Peaceful and serene, the perfect setting to reconnect with family.

Perfect weekend getaway

It’s a beautiful home in a beautiful area and a great spot for a weekend away with friends. The hot tub and all the amenities were perfect. Daura was incredibly easy to communicate with and very responsive. Would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely House, Lovely Hosts

Really clean, modern and well maintained property. The hosts are super friendly and accessable for any questions or issues, the latter of which we had none. The house is remote, which depending on what your looking for is a plus or minus. We loved it, stars and fireflies at night, quiet sunshine during the day. Fun basement playroom with Foosball and ping pong plus board games galore and art supplies for the kids. Like the title suggests, highly recommend if the property fits your needs.

Perfect stay, wonderful hospitality!

Absolutely beautiful property, perfectly clean and with every thoughtful amenity you could need. The home was just beautifully designed. We were there for Cornell graduation weekend and the drive in and out of Ithaca was easy. Our host was so gracious in checking in on us. Our son is now gone from Ithaca but my husband and I are really hoping to return to this home!

Excellent winter getaway over the Holidays!

Our family had the best winter get away at this cozy house in upstate New York. The entire house was exceptionally clean and well maintained and equipped with everything a family would need for a relaxing retreat. The layout of the house was perfectly designed for my toddler grandaughter who loved having a continuous walking track throughout all of connecting rooms on the first floor. There were many intense pingpong and foosball matches between all of the kids along with lots of other fun things to do in the finished basement like karaoke, darts and poker. We even had enough snow to do some sledding around the house and then enjoy a picture perfect view from the hot tub on the back deck. Another family favorite was the large kitchen with the high top bar which was perfect for allowing everyone to be involved in prep of morning breakfasts and big dinner plans. We were looking for a change of scenery and a place where we could all just relax, stay in and enjoy each others company over the holiday season and all of our expectations and more were met at this beautifully kept home. The owners were so kind and accommodating and very easy to get in contact! Overall an A+

Little House in the Ithaca Woods

My family so enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving at this beautiful, graciously appointed, cabin in the woods. Close to Ithaca and all the Cornell University activities, and the many, many, outdoors recreational opportunities, this house is the perfect launching pad for a family gathering. Highly recommend!

Perfect Casual Stay

We stayed here with some very close friends and family and hosted a dinner for all of us. It was the perfect size for our group of 10! Daura was SO communicative and accommodating. The house is beautiful, and like a lot of the other reviews state, so we’ll stocked! I’d we didn’t bring it or remember it, it was definitely there. We were so busy, I wish we got to spend more time in the house but we are very much looking forward to staying again!

Beautiful, comfortable house - wonderful hospitality.

We really enjoyed our stay in this well-constructed (adobe, thick walls! wood floors and beams), well-designed (great layout of bedrooms, baths and common areas), and decorated 'homestead'. We had a great rendezvous (after no COVID visits!) with my Toronto cousins and the house contributed significantly to that. It was so comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen, and interesting decorations, including stained glass window hangings and old photos of local waterfalls. And, it was so quiet! I did a run on the road by the house on Sunday morning, for 45 minutes, and not one car passed me by! The sunlight and the views were outstanding and relaxing. It was only a short drive to Buttermilk Falls and other gorge experiences - which we enjoyed. The guide that was provided was very helpful, too. We hope to do this again in the spring, and we will definitely plan to stay here. Thanks to the host family for their hospitality and the opportunity to stay in this amazing house.
