The house had a large kitchen with everything you need to cook. We ate most meals there. We rented a pontoon boat from St Joseph's Boat Rental. They made it easy to pick up and drop off the boat at the Hutchins Lake boat launch which is a 4 min drive from the house. The dock is not far from the house but we did enjoy the golf cart as it made bringing everything to the boat much easier. This is a lovely house with convenient lake access, a great pool area and it is close to Fennville winery and only 15 min away from Saugatuck. This is just a great property overall.

Private pool setting with nice size lake just across the street. We rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed the lake setting.

Amazing House and Pool/Spa

Our family had a wonderful time here. This property was thoughtfully designed to be a perfect vacation getaway. The layout on the lower level with the pool, huge kitchen and family room / dining area worked well for our children and grandchildren. Neighborhood is great and the lake is a block away. We’ll be back!

Stay at the Fennville house was as expected. Pictures and details were very accurate. House was comfortable and the pool and spa were great. Only complaint was there needs to be a dresser in the master suite. There’s only 1 closet and we had to live out of our suitcases.

Great week in Fenneville

Our family of four stayed here in Fennville for a week. The house was great, everything was as advertised. We have come to Michigan for many summers and rented multiple homes over the years, and this was definitely one of the best. Emily and Tom were extremely helpful during our stay. We would highly recommend their property.

The perfect vacation house!

This house is perfection from the beautiful design to the thoughtful functionality and accommodations for visiting families. It truly felt like our home away from home for the week. The hosts were wonderful and responsive and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The large kitchen, outdoor/pool/spa area, golf cart, and lake dock/slip set this property well above other houses we have rented. We can’t say enough about our stay and will definitely be retuning!!

Perfect Home for Family Vacation!

What a beautiful home! The layout worked perfectly for our family, which included 8 adults and 3 little ones - 9, 5 and 3. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, and the large dining room table allowed for our family to enjoy meals together! The location is close enough to visit the quaint little towns nearby (when we weren't enjoying the pool and backyard setting!) Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Beautiful home with everything you need

Emily and Tom's home was perfect for our family's vacation. They were gracious hosts leaving very detailed instructions about the home, recommendations for places around the area and even a nice assortment of snacks and treats for our 3 little kids. The pool and hot tub were perfect and provided endless entertainment for the kiddos - - the heated pool was a big bonus given the unpredictable weather in early June. 100% would recommend any family or small group staying here.

Top notch family vacation!

The Hutch is perfect for families. The house is well equipped with everything needed and more. We spent many hours in the backyard and pool area. The dock nearby is an added bonus! Rent a boat or just hang out there. There is a small beach with chairs and tables too. Great place to let the kids run around and explore. We found many great things to do in Fennville and Saugatuck. You will not run out of activities. Highly recommend!

Wonderful home for big families

My extended family just spent a week at The Hutch. It was perfect! The house had everything you could need. The open floor plan was great for letting us cook, play games and be able to spend time together. The weather was a little cool, but we were able to take advantage of the pool everyday. Emily was great at communicating and gave us great local recommendations. We highly recommend this house if you want to enjoy a relaxing vacation with a large group.

Perfect Summer Retreat

My recent stay at this vacation house was nothing short of exceptional. The location of this house is unbeatable. While just a short drive from Saugatuck we felt a world away from the noise and stress of everyday life. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the pool! Clean and well-maintained, it provided endless hours of fun for our children. The house's interior was equally impressive. The open concept living space was inviting and spacious, with plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy for us to prepare our meals and dine together as a family.

Wonderful vacation!

There’s so much to love about this property. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, a short walk from Hutchins Lake where you have dock access. The house has everything you could ask for- a well stocked kitchen, plenty of frig space, beach towels, games and toys for young ones. The downstairs bathroom is accessible to the pool with plenty of hooks for wet towels. We spent a lot of time in the pool and hot tub. The owners suggested many restaurants and activities that were all close by (a 5-15 min drive). Emily was in touch with us during our stay and made us feel right at home. Wonderful owners with a beautiful home. We loved it and hope to come back soon.

Awesome House and Location!

Where to begin? The place is absolutely stunning and awesome! We had 5 adults and 6 kids for our annual family trip and this was an amazing place to stay. The pool and hot tub were top notch - the owners put a lot of thought and planning into both of these. Our kids played in the pool as much as possible and it was nice for the adults to sit in the hot tub and watch them. The kitchen and dinning room were perfect for us since we always cook and eat in - more than enough room for us to cook and eat together. It had all the modern amenities for us and plenty of space for multiple people to get food ready without bumping into each other. Had more than enough room for all the adults and kids for sleeping arrangements. It was perfectly set up. We brought a small boat with us and having the dedicated dock was a huge plus. The golf cart to get back and forth to the dock and beach was really nice. Hutchins Lake is a great lake to be on - it's not crowed and allows you to enjoy the lake and go tubing without having to worry about crazy or irresponsible boaters. Overall 6 out of 5 stars.

Perfect Family Getaway – We’ll Be Back!Our extended family of 10 had an amazing vacation at The Hutch! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house is beautifully maintained and incredibly well-equipped for families.The kids would have been happy spending the entire week in the pool, it’s much larger than those at other properties we've rented and quickly became the highlight of their stay. While the home is located in a subdivision, the backyard feels like a peaceful retreat surrounded by trees. It’s so private and relaxing, you’d never guess neighbors were nearby.Emily and Tom have truly thought of everything. The kitchen is stocked with more essentials than any rental we've experienced. It had every gadget, tool, and item you could need to cook big family meals. They’ve also included a great selection of games and toys for all ages, which kept everyone entertained throughout the week.We especially appreciated the extras for outdoor fun. From the abundance of pool toys to the items for the lake including a fun Lilly pad the kids loved. Everything was thoughtfully provided. Emily also connected us with a local pontoon boat rental, which was delivered right to the launch and picked up when we were done. It couldn’t have been more convenient.And the golf cart was a fantastic bonus for quick and easy trips to the lake!We truly felt like we were at home during our stay and can't wait to return. Thank you for an unforgettable family getaway.

Perfect spot for a family vacation! This was our second time back to The Hutch. We loved it! The pool and hot tub were amazing. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable for the ten of us. It was very clean and well kept. We rented a pontoon boat that the grandkids loved to fish off of and go for boat rides on the lake. We could walk to the lake (only a short walk) or drive the golf cart. The owner was very kind and responsive - it was a great experience!

Wonderful stay! Great location and communication. The house had everything we needed including lots of extras for the kids. The only bad thing I can think of is that the hot tub was out of commission when we were there but understand these things happen. Would return again in the future.

Delivers

This place is a gem. It totally delivers. The pool was warm! The hot tub was hot! The kitchen was huge and amazing. The lake was indeed a short walk away. It is what I would call a high tech place - Japanese bidets, Sonos sound system, charger station. Spacious, private, great bathrooms, beds and windows. Eureka!

Beautiful home and yard!

This amazing home had everything we needed- and things we didn't even know we needed! The kitchen had everything you'd want for cooking and/ or snacking. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The living areas and dining area could accommodate our entire group of 10 - with room to spare. The backyard -oh the backyard -was perfect! The pool and hot tub were magnificent! The yard serene. The seating area allowed for conversation and relaxation. The location of the home was great. We took the family peach picking and took in an outside concert. We totally enjoyed ourselves at this beautiful home!

Fantastic!

Our stay was wonderful! The home is beautifully decorated, roomy and has everything you need for your vacation. The pool and hot tub are top notch with a pool cover for safety. The home has every amenity you need plus extras like children’s toys, pool toys, beach towels, life vests. Even a first aid kit. Kitchen is well stocked with anything you need, a huge island, large fridge and two mini fridges. The home is within walking distance to Hutchins Lake with your own dock and a shared sandy beach for the kids. Homeowners were responsive and communication was quick and always helpful. They also suggested many activities and restaurants in the area. Neighborhood is great, well kept homes and quiet cul de sacs. Would love to stay here again!

Perfect MI Get-a-way!

We had such a wonderful stay at this property - we had a hard time leaving! The house is beautiful - exactly as pictured, the pool/outside view is so peaceful, and inside very comfortable. I love the location - so close to so many things to do, and the hosts were not only so helpful & pleasant, but also very accessible for any question. I am already looking forward to my next visit!
