The home was spacious, relaxing, welcoming and just absolutely lovely. The views were beautiful. Seeing the wild life was exciting. We had everything we needed and it was spotless. We could not have been happier staying here.

This home was perfect for our family with small grandchildren. The grounds are spectacular - the location is private yet close to the lake and the attractions along the Art Coast. Keith is a responsive host with strong communication.

Our Girl Trip girls were very pleased with Fox Eagle Den!! The home was lit up and ready for us when we arrived. We felt welcomed, comfortable and immediately confident that we were going to have a relaxing weekend. Many interesting art pieces in the home made each room special! Unpredictable fall weather was a disappointment in that we didn’t get to spend time together in the beautiful outdoor area but we did have plenty of space inside the home to read and play games.The host, Keith, responded to all questions promptly and we appreciated his willingness to give us suggestions about the area.

This vacation home met our needs for a family of 11. It was convenient to all the activities we were interested in. The professionally landscaped yard was beautiful with all the perennials in bloom. The artwork inside the home kept us all intrigued. One of the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit had a broken seat slat. We still enjoyed s'mores by the fire.I would definitely recommend this rental and return again!

We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back! The home was decorated beautifully with amazing art, comfortable furnishings, clean, and well-maintained. It had everything we needed for a relaxing trip, and the thoughtful touches throughout made us feel right at home. The homes floor plan allows for private bedroom areas along with great gathering space inside and out.The location was convenient and peaceful, making it easy to enjoy Lake Michigan, Fennville, Douglas and Saugatuck, while also having a great place to unwind. The gardens were peaceful and beautiful. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, with quick responses and clear instructions.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway. Thank you for a great experience!

We gathered for an extended weekend with our blended family for our 25th wedding anniversary celebration. A fantastic time was had by all! Everything about the property is perfect. The outside is a private paradise filled with beautiful trees, flowers, and lots of grasses and foliage. We gathered for meals together on the patio, and later in the evening around the fire pit we roasted marshmallows for S’mores. The inside of the house is incredible! It’s very cozy, well appointed, and spacious. Six bedrooms and four bathrooms offer plenty of space andprivacy for everyone. All the comforts of home are available! We were sad to leave as we talked about hopefully reuniting at the Wooded Retreat again soon. Keith was an excellent, gracious host prior to our visit by answering several questions I sent him online, as well as being available during our stay when we needed something. Thank you, Keith, for providing us with many cherished memories!

This private, beautifully landscaped property in walking distance to the lake with fabulous sunsets was perfect for our family. The only downside was with 15 people in the house water pressure was an issue. We contacted the host who said this was a new issue that he would look into. Would consider staying here again once that problem is resolved.

An enchanted wooded wonderland - everything about the stay felt special. The owners have a keen eye for the details- from art selection and placement to the layered bedding, everything is thoughtful curated. From the moment you walk in you instantly feel comfortable and that you aren’t in your typical rental. Had the privilege of hosting family in the home for a wedding weekend, couldn’t have picked a better spot to relax in between the festivities. The backyard is gorgeous as is the rest of landscaping. Perfect to sit a spell, sip your morning coffee and soak in a nature bath. All the furnishings well appointed and comfortable, had everything to make the stay easy. What a delightful experience all the around. A. It was a privilege…thank you!

Beautiful and spacious

Home was clean and suited our family well. Plenty of space indoors and out to spread out or gather together. Loved the decor and “home” feel. Great location. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and cooking pots/pans/serving dishes. Enjoyed our stay!

Staycation

Keith was really responsive and helpful throughout the whole booking process. The property is beautiful and had more than enough space for our group. It had multiple entertaining/seating areas which everyone appreciated. I would recommend and stay at the wooded retreat again!

5 star plus! It was very clean, beautiful and spacious. The property manager was always responsive to our questions/needs. Would highly recommend. Our stay was enjoyable and we would definitely book again!
