And not having access to pools at Night Heron.We thought gate pass procedure was annoying .Much easier process through Kiawah Resort.

Outstanding stay

Excellent property, exactly as advertised. Couple of calls to mgmt co to answer a few questions were quick and efficient. Overall a great experience.

very nice except one bedroom on second floor would not cool below 74 degrees and the mattresses in that room were very poor - otherwise great experience, nice facility

Girls Getaway

Kiawah Island is simply magical and this house did not disappoint. Amenities were as described and the house was spotless.We had a couple of hiccups in the beginning, but the agency was so responsive and worked hard to get it right (which they did). I would absolutely recommend this house and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect home for a large group

The location was with easy access to the beach, bicycle paths, and lovely marsh views, exactly what we were looking for. The pool was larger than most, and was a perfect way to relax after a hard day at golf and the beach. We saw turtles hatching on the beach, alligators sunning, and incredible marsh birds fishing. We had a small maintenance issue that was resolved so quickly; I could never get maintenance that fast at my own home! Very impressive response!

Check in was very easy. The communication on gate passes, directions and codes etc were very clear. The house is clean and beautiful. Even though we didn’t have great weather the first two and a half days there was plenty to do inside and plenty of room to get away and have some private time. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty to pantry storage and a huge fridge. The pool was wonderful to have right there. We used it even in the rain. It was also chilly so they let us heat up the hot tub, which was great for the little ones to warm up from the chilly pool. It wasn’t heating up when we first tried so they sent someone over right away to fix it for us. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of towels and a great washer and dryer. We rented bikes from espm Vaca rentals and had a great time riding around the beautiful island. We did find it hard to ride bikes all the way onto the beach from the nearest beach access but found that the next one up after Ibis pond was mostly boardwalks and much easier. The grandchildren loved splashing in all the tidal pools at low tide. Overall, it was a wonderful place for a larger family with multigenerational ages.

Did not meet expectations

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived we discovered we only had one key and we asked for a second key and never received the key. The 3rd floor bathroom ceiling was leaking water and had mold growing so it had been leaking for some time. The pool lights did not work and the pool equipment was in poor condition. The curtains in the master bedroom actually fell on the floor. There were of very poor quality. The house overall is older and needs some investment to update the overall house as it is showing age in all areas. The ice machine in the bar area did not work as it always froze up. The garage smelled very bad as it smelled very musty to the point you did not want to go in the garage. Overall this house at one time was great but it is obvious that the owners have not maintained the property properly and made the investment to keep it in good condition. This house was not worth the amount we paid for the week. We have stayed in other houses at Kiawah for the same amount and the houses were so much nicer and in better condition. I would not recommend renting this house to anyone and I would not rent it again as it was disappointing.

Great house for vacation even during a tropical storm

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 3 families together riding out tropical storm Debby at kiawah. If you’re going to be stuck inside, this is the house to stay in! We loved the spacious living space and bar area. All bedrooms were very comfortable and lots of conveniences. Such as 2 dishwashers, dedicated ice maker and great laundry room on second floor. The pool is lovely and I enjoyed sitting on the kitchen porch overlooking the pool for morning coffee. The beach is half mile walk or bike. The doors in this house are gorgeous! Feels like a palace. It’s well cared for and inviting. We felt safe even with Debby dropping 13 inches of rain one night.

I’ve rented many vacation homes over the past years and the kitchen was by far the best. Everyone loved the pool, it needs to be cleaned twice a week not once.

Everyone had their own space. It was very well appointed and spotless!. We loved having the convenience of a short bike ride or walk to the lovely beach and a beautiful pool, as well! We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary...many, many special memories were made! Thank you!
