Close proximity to downtown Lewes

Lovely home. Easy walking distance to downtown Lewes and bay beach. Sadly the road out front is a bit noisy at times. But enjoyed our stay overall.

This is a pretty and well decorated townhome with a great little pool area included that felt private. We had a great time. On the downside I found the pricing wasn’t transparent. After paying a non refundable deposit I was contacted by the management company and informed that linens weren’t included in the stay. We paid and extra 250 or so for all our sheets and towels and would have had to pay another 150 for have someone put them on the beds for us. That was a first for me. Also there were absolutely no supplies in the house. Half a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and half empty hand soaps, some dishwasher detergent, but no laundry detergent, so shower soap, no cooking oil, no roll of paper towels, etc. Great spot, great stay, but when you are renting a house you do expect there to be sheets and some very simple basic supplies included.

While the home is not stocked as a full-service hotel, we understand your expectation for basic starter supplies and will pass along your comments regarding items such as toilet paper, hand soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, and basic kitchen necessities. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pool a plus! Location amazing! Recommend supplying a hairdryer (I di not pack one - every place we've vacationed has a hair dryer).

2A Canal place

Nice place and great location. I’d just make sure you have the pool code, definitely bring all the essentials they are very limited. No laundry soap, no dishwasher soap. I even purchased the linens, but had to make our own beds. For some of us came from out of town, state and country it made it a little bit upsetting. The place is really nice though. Clean and the furniture is nice. Beds are comfortable. Location is walkable to downtown, restaurants and the beach. I highly recommend Irish eyes pub and restaurant.

Lewis DE

Surprised by the uncleanliness (black mold in showers and wash machine), ants in the kitchen and porches, very dusty and dirty. Location was convenient to the bike trails and walking into town and Lewes Beach. Tiny pool (8x16). Balconies on home were lovely to watch sunrise and sunset. Hanging chair on back porch was highlight to my trip. 1 parking spot, small garage (possibly compact car size). No overflow parking - neighbors were unfriendly

It was okay

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is nice. Close to downtown. However, the actual address was not given to me. The address given by the realtor, Margaret was misleading. I was given the address of 2 Canal place but the real address was 100 Anglers way unit 2. The complex was called canal place. Tjere is also a canal street in lewes which was what I thought the location was. I had to stop by the office location to get the key to the rental which was inconvenient. The first floor was clean. The carpets upstairs were dirty. There were stains on the sofa bed. There was mold in the washer. The property manager was not very responsive via text. Took several days to reply to messages about the pool.

2022 Summer Rental - Unit 2A

We loved being walking distance to the restaurants and shops and the pool was an excellent addition for days we didn't make it to the beach. We intend on renting again in the future.

Walk right over bridge to town or an under 10 min. walk to beach. Drove to beach several days with the little ones and no problem parking. Great canal views off back decks. 3rd floor room and deck a bonus.

Excellent location and house

Great location, walkable to both Lewes restaurants/shops and beach. Clean, modern house. Great to have the pool as an option for our kids as a break from the beach. Excellent all around!
