Beautifully restored third floor attic loft with historic charm and modern upgrades. This property is located near the state capitol in the historic East End of Charleaton, WV. Convenient to downtown, minutes from the interstate, local restaurants, and arts/entertainment. Perfect for business or personal travel. Open concept, cool angles, efficient use of the space.
The space
The Loft is a completely renovated open floor plan/studio concept in a converted third floor attic.
The kitchen features beautiful granite countertops, brushed nickel faucet with pull-down sprayer, stainless steel appliances (full refrigerator and freezer, 4-burner electric stove and oven, dishwasher). Traditional coffee pot, cutlery, dishware, cookware, etc. Private full size stackable washer/dryer. The bathroom features a custom shower and tile work, granite countertop, and brand new fixtures. (please note, the shower space was to maximize efficiency; guests over 6 feet tall may find the shower a bit claustrophobic, but functional).
Our guests will enjoy a queen-sized Sleep Number bed, pull-out futon, 43 inch Smart flatscreen TV with streaming apps (use your own login) and high-speed wifi Internet, high-top dining table for two/workstation, and fully stocked with kitchen supplies for cooking, coffee maker, microwave, etc. Key-pad entry lock to common door and another keypad entry lock to loft with private and secure entrance. The space is pet friendly, just add a guest for each dog starting with the 3rd guest. There is a $10 fee per animal, per day, due to the additional cleaning required for future guests and potential sensitivity to animal dander.
Guest access
Entire loft (third floor of building). First two levels are long term rental units that cater to young professionals. There is a common door to the second and third floor units.
Parking is available on the street, no charge.
Other things to note: Booking & Guest Rules
• The person booking must be staying in the home. No third-party bookings.
• Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property. Additional visitors require written approval through VRBO.
• A government ID matching the VRBO profile may be requested.
Check-In & Security
• Check-in instructions are shared only through VRBO’s secure messaging system.
• Smart locks are programmed for your stay only and re-lock automatically.
• Exterior cameras monitor entry points for your safety. Tampering with cameras or locks is prohibited.
Payments & Communication
• All payments and communication must remain within VRBO. We will never request cash, wire transfers, or off-platform payments.
• Any attempt to move communication or payment outside VRBO will result in cancellation.
Respect for Home & Neighborhood
• No parties, events, or unauthorized gatherings.
• Please treat the home with care. Damage, smoking indoors, or violation of house rules may result in additional charges.
Fraud & Scam Prevention
• Reservations with suspicious activity, mismatched information, or attempts to bypass VRBO policies will be canceled.
• These rules protect both our guests and our community, ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.
