Cute cabin overlooking Spring Creek

This cabin is only a few feet from the edge of a 40ft cliff overlooking a beautiful spring fed creek.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed. Living area has a 42in flat screen tv, cable, DVD player, and a very comfy leather couch. Kitchenette has a sink, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and two burner stove top. An outdoor grill is also available.

This property is on 8 fenced and gated acres offering great privacy. Walk along the edge of the cliff and enjoy the views. Follow the road down to the water and enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating. Guests are allowed to use the pier, diving board, rope swing, canoe and flat bottom boat.

Boerne is only 15 minutes away offering great restaurants and shopping. Several pubs and breweries to choose from as well.

San Antonio is 45 minutes away.

Only one mile away is the renowned Cave Without a Name. Tours are available daily and they hold a concert in the cave once or twice a month. The cave property is around 100 acres and has miles of walking trails.

Two miles away is Kreutzberg Canyon Natural Area where more walking trails are available and Guadalupe River access.

July 4th raining weather.

We got everything we need to have fun. Quality tine with my spouse. We visit the Caven with name, the lake, theater and the town.

My wife and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary there. The property was beautiful the cabin was nice and cozy. Having the availability to use their boat was really nice to go explore the beautiful creek. We both caught fish while on the boat on and the south west side of the creek had some absolutely beautiful scenery. We check out cave without a name before we left it was a awesome experience all around.

Perfect getaway, ON CREEK, swimming, fishing, canoe

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! It’s a very small cabin, perfect for 1-3 ppl. Everything was clean and you couldn’t ask for better hosts….they were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and wanted during our stay. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, and picturesque spot outside of town, on the water, with fishing, canoeing, swimming, beautiful landscape, and truly dedicated hosts, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! We will certainly be back. Thank you guys, and Cole, for a perfect birthday weekend getaway!

Relaxing and beautiful stay!

We enjoyed relaxing by the creek, swimming, canoeing, shopping and eating in town, and exploring Cave Without A Name. This is a beautiful location in the hill country, and our hosts were very friendly and helpful! We are already thinking about a return trip sometime!

Great for a getaway!

We loved staying here! The cabin was perfect for my husband and I. Great swimming area, and close to a cave without a name! We also enjoyed our visits from the property manager, Coal (the owners big dog lol) he was the sweetest boy! Would definitely come back to stay again!

Very Peaceful Place

This place was amazing!! Very peaceful and relaxing. Just what my husband and I needed to get away from our busy lives! The host, Seth was very accommodating! Will be staying here again in the future!

Great Secluded location

Wonderful property with everything you need to destress. Far enough from town but not so far if you forget something or need to grab something. The river is relaxing and a great place just to unwind.

If you like the outdoors and nature this is the place! The creek was a lot of fun to kayak. The host is very accommodating but very respectful of my privacy. I’ll be back for sure!

It was amazing. The views were beautiful and unfortunately it rained while we were there so we didn’t get to play in the water, but it was gorgeous.

Enjoyed our time there. It was quiet relaxing.

We fished and relaxed down in the creek. Tha property was well built. The dock & covered area was built by very good craftsman. I will recommend this place to any couple. These owners are a fine family & the property is mowed& kept.

Great, relaxing, and affordable!

This property is just the perfect place to getaway from every day life and to enjoy the Texas Hill Country. It sits on a cliff with private access to the owner's newly built patio that accesses the creek below. We enjoyed taking the canoe down the creek every day we stayed and the water felt so great that we made great use of the diving board. Definitely reccomend this property and will be staying again!

Little gem by the water

Great late minute getaway. It was everything we could have imagined and asked for. Home away from home feeling. Relaxing and soothing and just like the pictures show. It is a definite do again. Thank you for having us.

Perfect weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the Boerne cabin. The creek is really more like a river. Seth was great and very accommodating. And the added, very much welcomed bonus were Coal and Lady (the family dogs). Downtown Boerne with plenty of restaurants, shops, coffe, etc is only a 15 to 20 min drive. I will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect vacation getaway

The property and owners are top notch, beautiful property awesome hospitality, there is a gorgeous canopy in between the cliffs, walking path, and water, like a little oasis. Close to Cave with no name a must see landmark and the cities of Boerne and Fredericksburg as well as the Guadalupe River. Added bonus is Coal their super friendly and intelligent property security manager aka their pet dog. Seth is very attentive and makes sure you have everything you have and more will definitely return.

Great Location

We wanted a private place in the country, and this was it. The cabin is close to the owner's house (and we did see his children when we walked to the creek), but the cabin itself is private. We enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the creek in the evening, and we took the canoe out a couple of times. I'd been warned that some rivers and springs have run dry, but the portion of creek on the property was still deep enough for boating. Seth was very accommodating. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Exceeded expectations

We had such an amazing weekend. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Seth was more than accommodating and thoughtful. The gate wasn’t working properly and instead of us figuring that out the wrong way, he put a gate remote on the porch so we didn’t run into any problems. The whole weekend was smooth, relaxing and one of the best weekends I have had..highly recommend—take a walk-you’re missing out if you don’t!!

July 4th long weekend

We rented this property mainly so my husband could do some birding and I was prepared to not like it; but we both fell in love with it! The cabin is small but has the necessities and the hubs really liked the simplicity. The lower area by the diving board is covered and has 2 lounge chairs and a hammock and it was easy to while away a good number of hours there. We also spent time under the tree canopy and saw numerous species of birds. I loved watching the vulture as he/she kept watch over its nest in the holes of the cliff!! While we ate most of our meals in Boerne, we will cook more next time now that we have a good feel for the place. The house itself was impeccably clean and the atmosphere was so nice and quiet. Seth and Amanda were super friendly and make great hosts! We will plan on going back maybe when it's cooler!

Found a piece of Heaven

We couldn't have made a better choice of places to spend our anniversary. Not only were Seth and Amanda amazing hosts, but we got an extra peek inside the Cave Without A Name, thanks to Seth. We attended a concert at the cave which is just a mile or so from the cabin. I highly recommend it. The cabin was nicely furnished with all your needs being met....comfortable bed, and chairs on the back porch to sit in and enjoy the view of the creek. Even more spectacular, was watching the Buzzards vie for their place to rest for the night in the trees around the creek. Awaking to the tweets and songs of the many birds made for a peaceful start of the day. Seth had a conoe and a boat available if we wanted to use them, but we stuck to the peer and fished....didn't catch anything but tranquility. Loved the two dogs on the property who greeted us with joy. I would stay with these lovely people again in a heart beat.

Cute property at a great location, all the amenities!

My fiancé and I were looking for a short getaway, and this cabin fit the bill! The cabin was super cute and the owners thought of everything! Assorted pots and pans for cooking were available as well as a variety of spices, so we were able to make meals. To my surprise, even little extras were thought of, like air freshener for the bathroom as well as paper towels, charcoal and lighter fluid. The dock by the water was a great place to chill out, swim, and get some sun. Canoes, lounge chairs, a diving board, and a rope were all there for water fun. The dock area was covered and had a hammock and a picnic table. The water level was a bit low due to the drought, but still plenty full to swim and cool off. We really loved the wrap around porch and spent a lot of time out there playing games. A table and chairs made for great porch time. The owner was super nice, available when we needed him, but not all up in our business. We also LOVED the property dog, Coal. What a sweetie, he hung out with us whenever we spent time outside. We will absolutely be coming back!!

Pictures on the site made it seem as if the dock was connected to the cabin. It is not. The Hendersons were fabulous. There was access to a boat or canoe that was not listed. The place is super quiet and a treat after being in the city all day. No internet though, so if that is a deal breaker for you…

The cabin was just as the listed. The creek is a bit of a walk down but not to bad. No wifi so your not about to stream any TV shows. There were some classic DVDS to select from. Overall I would recommend and stay here in the future.
