Brittland Manor was built in 1938 and sits on 530 riverside acres. When you drive up the long curved lane you are surrounded by fields, woods, a pond, and wild life. You end at a circle drive in front of the Georgian style mansion. It's hilltop setting commands magnificent views of the Chester River.
Inside on the first floor you'll find a butler's kitchen and main kitchen with lots of cabinets and top of the line stainless appliances. Next to the kitchen is the large laundry room with two front load washers and dryers and an additional dishwasher. You can enjoy your breakfast in our sunroom that has a gorgeous view of the Chester River. You can have a large dinner party in the dining room and talk about the enormous crystal chandelier overhead.
The grand foyer has a huge spiral staircase and doors that open to the spacious back yard overlooking the Chester River. You could enjoy drinks and conversation in the beautiful living room. To end the evening you could grab a book out of our library and relax with a bed time story. Also on the first floor is 1 1/2 baths and a bedroom with a king bed.
On the second floor has a his and hers master suites which adjoin with a master study. One suite has a king canopy bed and the other as a sleigh queen and a twin. Down the hall are 'Jack and Jill' bedrooms with queen beds that share a bath. Along with 2 large bedrooms that have their own baths. One has king bed and the other a queen bed.
Over the kitchen area is what was once called the 'maids quarters'. In this wing you'll find two bedrooms that share a hall bath and one bedroom with it's own bath. All of these bedrooms have queen beds.
The third floor has a queen bed, two full size futons, a king, and one twin bed. Outside you'll find a spacious yard with gardens and a pool. On the side of the house next to the garage you'll find a basketball net to play basketball with the family along with a pair of swings.
