Make your escape to this cozy beachfront cottage, only steps away from the beach. This lovely home is the perfect place to enjoy a true getaway. The house is nestled at the end of the street where you feel that you have your private beach area.. Enjoy spectacular never-ending ocean views, while listening to the waves from the partially covered deck, sipping your morning coffee, or evening cocktails. You can walk your picnic lunch to the family from the house, making lasting memories on the beach. The home welcomes you with new beautiful furnishings and beachy décor. It offers a king-size bed in the master bedroom, with a private full bath. The second bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds to make room for children or guests. The bottom bunk is a futon full-size bed. The bonus room has a convertible sleeper sofa that makes a full-size bed. The entire space allows for up to nine guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to entertain you and your guests. Clean linens are provided and the home is pet-friendly. The house includes dish/wifi and blu ray DVD. This is your gem of a vacation spot just waiting for you to enjoy. It is the perfect place for a family vacation or an adult weekend getaway. Terramar is a quiet community, only a short drive, (approximately 20 minutes) from the Seawall action. Galveston has so much to offer in regard to day trips as well. The Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, mansion tours, Duck Tours, and The Strand are great ways to enjoy your time as well.
You can't get any closer to the beach than this. If you are ready for your escape to the sea, this is the place for you.

We had a great time here and loved that we had direct access to the beach! Even though it was a holiday weekend we didn't feel crowded by the beach accesses down the road. Would definitely consider coming back!

Excellent location with open beach view. No close houses on either side. Great set up for dogs with a gate closure at the exit to the deck stairs. Kitchen is well-stocked. It is a very clean and well-maintained home. We will definitely consider another stay here!

Everything with the home was spot on! Unfortunately the beach is less than desirable apparently, they are letting sea kelp collect on the beach to cut down on soil erosion, which collects junk as well so the beach isn’t as clean as you’d like it to be and this isn’t just the west end it’s that entire coastline.

We won’t stay here again. The dog smell when you walked in immediately slapped you in the face and set the tone for the entire trip. Every time we left I dreaded walking back into the house. The front door doesn’t open all the way so carrying luggage or even a case of water through the door was annoying. We kept finding dog hair all throughout our trip (we didn’t bring any of our dogs). The listing said it had an outdoor shower. The outdoor shower was a hose wrapped around a beam which was extremely misleading and false advertising. We wouldn’t have even had this house in our list as I filter 3 things when staying in Galveston, 1. AC, 2. Washer/dryer, and 3. Outdoor shower! We didn’t receive our check-in instructions beforehand and had to contact the host twice to send them. The host was available via phone but texting through the app was non responsive. The bunk beds had a note that said only people 6 years old and below, so it was a bummer when my 8 and 9 year olds couldn’t sleep on the top bunk and we had to utilize the couch, which I was not expecting. They have a bunk bed at home so didn’t see this as an issue. The AC worked great. The views were amazing.

Loved the Location

We had a great stay at the beach house for spring break. It's on the west end of the island away from the crowds, but just a short drive to get everywhere. It was great to have the beach to ourselves. It's under new ownership and we saw upgrades already being made. The bunkroom was tight, but the kids loved it. The master bedroom was spacious with a firm mattress. We would stay again.

Another Wonderful Spring Break...The closest home to the beach and we had the beach all to ourselves for 5 full days. home is wonderful. beginning to be a yearly tradition. It's awesome.

Wonderful experience

This was our second stay at this cottage by the sea. Everything was handled very professionally and the cottage was very well appointed. The location is great on a quiet part of the beach. There were good restaurants close by, but the drive into town was easy. We’ll be happy to stay here anytime we need a coastal getaway. Gary Werntz

Great place!

This place is ideal for a weekend get-away. Close enough to a few convenience stores if you forgot sunscreen but it feels remote enough that it feels as private as can be hoped for at a beach. Would give it six stars if I could.

Check in was very easy…Kitchen had plenty of supplies, nicely laid out.Great location, very private and quiet.Enjoyed the deck space which is where we spend most of our time. Nice clean table and comfortable chairs with cushions.

The location was amazing! Direct views and private access to the beach! Sunsets were gorgeous. That was key for us. The house was just the right size for my family of 3 and 2 dogs. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed, and convenience stores were nearby. We will definitely be back.

Very clean property. Inside and out. Beach view was the best. Our dogs loved it. Great deck to watch the sun come up and go down. We highly recommend!

Perfect Beachfront Getaway

Lovely cozy beach house located right at the beach. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the proximity to the beach. This is the quieter part of Galveston which is what we wanted (and needed). Big bonus that it was very pet friendly equipped. Would love to visit again!
