You’ll enjoy a secured entry during your stay at this luxury condo in the heart of the Hostess City of the South. Located one block south of Broughton Street, this newly renovated property has four bedrooms and two full baths, and can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests.

This unique basement apartment offers a spacious living, kitchen and dining area creating an open living environment. This space features a wall-mounted smart TV, and an ample amount of seating provides guests with plenty of space for everyone to be together!

The four bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment for a quiet night's rest and have wall-mounted smart TV's and plenty of closet space, so you can unpack and settle in during your stay. There are two full bathrooms just off of the hallway that allow guests plenty of room to get ready for their day out on the town.

You’ll be steps away from the city’s most sought after attractions: bustling River Street, Broughton Street shopping, Telfair Museum, Lucas Theater, the Cathedral, Forsyth Park and more are all within easy walking distance.

Parking for this home is on-street and metered, which is enforced by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Girls weekend

Plenty of sleeping & great location to walk anywhere. There were issues with the property that after contacting management they were immediately addressed

Very Nice

We came into town for my daughter’s wedding at the civic center and this place kept us from having to rent a car or Uber. It is literally within walking distance of EVERYTHANG!!! Place was nice and clean just as described. Will definitely book again if they would have us.

Great Location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location! Easy walking to river district & Forsyth Square, fun restaurants & shopping nearby. Lucky Savannah has nice website & app with great local info. While the unit is spacious and comfortably furnished. Unfortunately, Whitaker 103 is more of a bunker, completely underground, with no natural light & non-functioning smoke detectors.

From photos & description we did not realiize our particular unit was completely below ground with no windows & only the staircase leading up to exit glass door for natural light. Also some bedooms did not have working smoking detectors Lucky Savannah management website, app and individuals i spoke with were all very helpful

It's A Basement Apartment

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Apt is located in the heart of Savannah and is very nice, if you realize you are renting a basement apartment. It suited our needs perfectly and aptly slept 8 as described. A bit tight otherwise, but hey, your in Savannah, you're meant to be out and about! Everything is described as is in the VRBO listing, and know that you will be paying for parking, but the garage is only a couple blocks from the apartment and affordable. You hear noises from the above apartment such as water coming through pipes, etc. Property manager was very timely in responding and don't miss the bbq place around the corner!!!

It was nice

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was nice and was in a great location, but really didn’t like that it was in the basement. When people upstairs flushed the toilet it sounded like the water was coming into the apt. The bathrooms didn’t have any shelf/stand to put your toiletries on while you took a shower and they have no vents for the shower steam so everything stays moist. I use Lucky Savannah a lot and they have always been good to us, but I would not rent this location again.

Perfect Location, Poorly Equipped

The condo was in a great location. Centrally located to shopping, the riverfront, and restaurants. The basement condo made it easy to sleep in. The condo slept eight, but did not have ample living space or seating for eight. The living room and dining room sat eight into total. The dining room table sat four and the living room has four chairs and is very tight to get around. We stayed during Thanksgiving. The kitchen is poorly equipped. There were two butter knives in total. The other knives in the house could not even cut open a plastic bag. There were no pot holders, kitchen towels or a colander. There were two wine glasses and four drink glasses.

Walking around without shoes did not happen after the first night as the bottoms of my feet turned black after being barefoot. One bedroom was missing the comforter and only had sheets on it. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher among arrival.

Unbeatable Location & Excellent Rooftop

We were able to walk to many parks including Forsyth, CVS, Parkers, River Street, the Civic Center, and so much more. We cooked each night on the rooftop and had access to more than enough food choices for every other meal. The unit was very clean, comfortable, and stocked with plenty of cooking utensils.

Great Place

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was just as described. We had everything we needed. The location cannot be better. You can step outside your door and walk just about anywhere you want to be in Savannah. The shared living space is a little small for 8 people, with dining seating for only 4 and living room seats for only 4 as well. We had a problem with getting the hot water to work in one of the showers. The management company was quick to respond and help us figure it out. It was simply tricky handle placement, but they were quick to respond and take care of us.

Unit 103 is actually in a basement

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in unit 103 and was described as street level. However, it is actually a basement with no windows or view for the same price as other units. The unit was damp ans the sheets felt damp at night aa a result. The whitaker collection is close to everything and as a result one we parked we never had to drive anyway, until we left. The parking pass information was completely wrong as we were sent to three locations, until the final parking aithority said there were no passes for parking decks, only pay by the hour. Also the remotes for the tvs had dead batteries. The rental company needs to update that information as well as to indocate this unit is a basement. I would have never booked a basement accomodation if proper information was provided by lucky savannah properties.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was in a great location to get around the whole city. We right between the riverfront and Forsyth park and it was easy to walk to all the places we wanted to see. This property did have 4 bedrooms, but the living space was VERY small for 8 people. Granted, we did not hang around the unit a lot of time, but we did gather in the evenings and it was challenging to fit everyone in the living space. The roof deck is a good addition to the living space, but during our stay the weather was fairly cold and the members of our group did not want to spend a lot of time up there. There is no parking, at all, near the unit so unloading and loading is a little challenging. There were some delays getting the correct code to the rooftop deck, but the management company responded quickly to inquiries. Overall, it was a good property for our family and we really enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunately an unpleasant experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location and the management company were both on point; however, this stay was extremely frustrating. Day 1: No codes provided so had to call to get those to unlock the door. The place was in "ok" condition, but is basically dorm rooms (not "Modern").Day 2: No sleep was had as every noise above you is heard (including toilets being flushed). We asked to transfer properties, but the company was all booked so we decided to make the best of this. The picture you see is of the rooftop this property touts...tried to check that out, but was not provided that code as well (different from the other one). Once again, had to call the management company to get that information. Complained about the stay thus far and received $150 refund.Day 3: Fire alarm went off for over an hour while we were trying to sleep. Requested additional compensation. The company said they would review and get back to me.Day 4: Checking out we put all of our bags next to the door and went to get a coffee and our car. Check out was stated as 11AM. When returning at 10:20AM our code no longer worked. Once again, had to call the management company and wait for someone to come unlock the door so we could get our bags to leave. 2 Weeks Later: Additional compensation for the frustrating stay officially denied. I never leave reviews, but if you are going to stay at this property know the location is great, the management company is communicative, but make sure all codes are provided in a timely fashion, understand there will be noise and you will have a dorm room feel, and finally, please make sure they don't lock you out while trying to check out.

A little tight, especially in the kitchen/living area - only seating for 4 around the table, with 4 more club chairs by the TV. Mostly clean, but found mouse droppings around the bed in one of the rooms. Didn't get to use the rooftop space due to bad weather, during our trip, but it looked nice!

Weekend on August 13 2021 Stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I will start with the positives, the picture surely portrayed the space in the best staged possible way. Also the location is perfect. We did not move our vehicles anytime during the weekend.A key part of the unit description should be the fact that it is a basement with no windows. Given it is suppose to cater for 8 people, that is a salient detail to include. Either the space had not been recently used or the cleaning was poor - there were unwashed spots in the bathroom as well as shells of insects in almost every room. With respect to insects, we saw a dead roach during our stay and to cap it off, one guest got bit by a spider overnight.Lastly, for a space that sleeps 8 people, it would make sense to have at least 2 key cards right? No! we were provided with just 1 key card and when we requested for additional ones, we were without shame told, all 4 keys that could be programed were not working and could only be fixed on Monday knowing our stay ended on Sunday.Given there are other units, in future i would should for a non basement unit.

A Graduation Weekend

I loved that we could enter from the outside, however we were in the basement and heard water running through the pipes. We had elders in our group so the stairs were too much for them. No windows and no balcony. So good place to eat, sleep, and be in the social district, but not to hangout in the loft. The rooftop was awesome, great views and vibes. Will I stay again, not were we were located in the building, it felt like a renovated office building converted into a dormitory for college kids vs the mature crowd.
