This three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home is overflowing with historic charm, including original hardwood floors, decorative fireplaces, crown molding, and pocket doors. You’ll feel as if you have your own private window to the past, all while enjoying the home’s modern luxuries.

The spacious downstairs living room has warm wood accents and plenty of seating, including a full-size sleeper sofa. You’ll find everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal in the recently renovated kitchen, which features gorgeous Carrara marble countertops, subway tiled backsplash and stainless steel appliances. The elegant adjoining dining room has seating for eight, perfect for family gatherings.

At the end of a day of exploring Savannah, relax in one of the three upstairs bedrooms. The primary suite has a California king-size bed and en suite bathroom with an oversized, walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds, an ornamental hearth, and a view of East Hall Street below. The third bedroom has a king bed, and can be accessed either from the second bedroom or the hallway. The shared second full bath has beautiful dark wood shutters, bead board paneling, a pedestal sink and a claw foot tub with shower.

Perfect house

So much good to say! Very beautiful historic house. In amongst historic homes. Very spacious and clean. The neighborhood was in a fantastic location walking distance to so much. There was ample free parking close to the house. The ONLY complaint is the house was on the corner of a busy street, with night time traffic. But the house and location made up for that. Would love to stay here again

Great family experience

Property worked great for our family. It is walking distance to all of downtown. Groceries and bakery are right around the corner.

Perfect location - great house

Wonderful house in a perfect location to enjoy Savannah. Very very clean and wells stocked. Great communication from the owners. Some complain about road noise in the evenings but it’s really a non-issue. If you want perfect quiet then rent a house out in the country. Beds were comfortable and decent space for everyone in the family room. Would absolutely stay again.

Roomy and Convenient

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Philips House is a lovely and roomy old home. Nice antiques and enough seating for at least 6. It had a very strong cleaning smell when we checked in and kitchen, bathrooms and usable surfaces clean. However, there is so much furniture that it all wasn’t dusted and seating stained. Paint a bit worn too. When we checked in the sink in the main bathroom upstairs had blue tape over sink and faucet so we didn’t use it. The next morning, Saturday, I contacted Lucky Savannah and a very nice man was out within an hour and found nothing wrong so we were able to use it. The beds were comfortable, but the two twin beds really noisy. Window covers are shutters so don’t completely block the light. If you like total darkness to sleep bring a sleep mask. Great there were lots of places to put bathroom things and belongings. Cute coffee shop at end of block and grocery store 2 blocks away. We would stay there again.

Beautiful home in a great location

The house is beautiful with wood floors throughout. The location is fantastic. At the end of the block is the Maté Factor, a quaint coffee house / bakery. Three more blocks away is Forsyth Park and a sightseeing trolley stop. The best feature is a single car driveway so you dont have to search for parking everyday!

Carter Family Reunion

We spent 4 great days in Savannah celebrating our Family Reunion. Members of our large family stayed in various locations including hotels and B&Bs. My wife and I picked this location for us my son, daughter in law and grandchildren. We had a wonderful stay and trip. We will definitely try to stay here again loved every minute except note below. The only problem we experienced was related to actual check in. 1. Check is for after 4PM and if you arrive @5PM no advance information that access door and entry was on the side street to rear of property was provided. But after a few calls and txt messages we found the keyed entry door and from then on it was smooth sailing.

PHILLIPS HISTORIC

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was convenient to local area and walking distance to stores and shops. Personal parking spot was great. Home is historic in nature, but it seemed it had not been rented in a while, it needed airing out. We purchased air fresheners ans placed throughout home. Twin beds sqeaked a lot. Master BR was very warm in comparison to other BRs (very cold). Master shower seemed mold buildup around shower glass and drain area. I showered with my slip ons. No TVs in guest BRs only in Master and Living Rm. All BRs are upstairs, so take note if elderly or disabled ones cannot climb stairs.

April 2024 Girls Trip

We had 5 people and could have slept 1 more super comfortably. We will definitely keep this house on our list to stay in again when we visit Savannah. We had a late flight home and were able to store our luggage at the rental office on Liberty Street. They were so nice!

Adult family vacation

Great location!! Table needs leg tightened, twin beds are REALLY squeaky, which made sleeping there & in adjoining bedroom hard to sleep! Was also a shooting a couple blocks away one night, & a SWAT team in a house 2 away from us the last day we were there with a high speed chase & having to enter house to get suspect. Price is a bit noisy with traffic also.

Convenient to Forsyth Park

Being close to Forsyth Park was a perk. The corner restaurant is delightful and we enjoyed many meals there. The convenience of Krogers two blocks away was also wonderful.

Wedding Trip

We came for our daughters wedding. It was fantastic to have a house near the venue where we could relax and enjoy ourselves and host family traveling to the wedding. Lovely neighborhood, didn’t have any trouble with parking and the property was clean and well maintained. If I have to go again I would definitely chose this spot again.

Taking daughter to College

My parents and my family of four stayed at this beautiful house. Close to the comforts of the grocery store, the park, and a quiet area. The walks around town were not bad, even for my parents li go to retirement. We all enjoyed the home as we took our daughter to College. Certainly a nice place to stay with extended family.

3 Generations All Loved This Home

Great Location: Walkable to a local Kroger's and Cafe. Easy drive to downtown or Tybee Beach. Beautiful home with comfortable beds and great place to congregate in living room and dining room. Furnishings are appropriate for an antebellum home. This was the best house rental I have had, and I travel often to many locations. Price was excellent for this home away from home.
