Our fully furnished Beach House is located right ON Manasota Key. It sleeps up to 8. Master Bedroom has a King Sized adjustable Bed. Bedroom 2 has two bunkbeds that can sleep 4 Adults and there is a Bonus Room with a Cozy Queen Sleeper Sofa. Our Newly remodeled kitchen with eat on counter and a beautiful cozy living room with 50 inch TV. The kitchen is fully functional and totally remodeled with brand new appliances including a refrigerator, range and microwave. There is also a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. The house has a fabulous outdoor shower which is totally private for rinsing after your day at the beach. BBQ and outdoor dining are onsite.


Enjoy family time playing in the sand, swimming, fishing morning walks, shell or shark teeth collecting, read a good book or just sitting under an umbrella. In the early evening sit back and enjoy watching a beautiful sunset. We have a beautiful dock for you to enjoy, fishing, kayaking or watching the sunrise 😃
The house is fully equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, beach toys, a beach cart and bicycles available for you to use. We also have kayaks' available as well. Just pack a bag and enjoy your beach vacation!

Our home is a single family home, NOT a Duplex or Shared Space OR townhouse like other properties in the area.. We live in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood and we are right on Manasota Key.

We have parking for 2 vehicles in our driveway. When you arrive, check in is quick and easy. Use our Ring Doorbell to let us know you have arrived and you’re all set.

While staying with us enjoy culinary delights at one of our local restaurants where you are likely to find live music most days of the week, you can ride on Stumpy's Free Rides, the island golf cart service.

Beach conditions on Manasota Key vary naturally with the tides, weather, and seasons. The shoreline is constantly changing, making each visit a unique experience and part of the charm of this beautiful barrier island.

Explore the other Key beaches including Englewood Beach, Blind Pass Beach and Manasota Beach, each offering another glimpse of the island life on Manasota Key!

When you stay with us you are booking our house, and not a duplex and we are on Manasota Key.

Absolutely fantastic! Exactly what we were looking for… close to the beach, well equipped and very comfortable. Beach is across the street (walking distance) and the Bay is about 100 yards behind the house. Beautiful! We highly recommend

Very easy to check in. Good location. AC couldn’t keep the place cool. Especially the “Florida room” was more like the “hot box room”. Beds were all hard as the floor, the pull out sofa is absolutely unbearable to sleep on. A ton of iguanas all around the property, one joined me in the outdoor shower. Fire banned killed the fire pit fun. Seating was not comfortable. Not a lot of seating either. No dining area except outside.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. We do feel it’s important to provide some additional context for future guests. Your visit took place during an extreme heat wave, with outdoor temperatures reaching approximately 102°F. Our home has a brand-new air conditioning system that was professionally serviced just before your arrival, and our Sensi smart thermostat showed the home maintaining normal cooling temperatures throughout your stay. Many of the other concerns mentioned are subjective. Mattress comfort, for example, varies from person to person, and our home has consistently received excellent feedback from guests regarding cleanliness, comfort, and the overall experience. We are also very transparent in our listing that the home features outdoor dining, allowing guests to enjoy Florida’s beautiful weather. With that said, we do have an island in the kitchen with seating for 6. As for the wildlife, Manasota Key is a natural coastal environment where seeing native birds, lizards, and occasionally iguanas outdoors is not uncommon—something many guests actually enjoy as part of the Florida experience. Unfortunately, county-issued burn bans are beyond the control of any property owner and are implemented for public safety. We are proud that this review is an exception among more than 50 plus five-star reviews from guests who have enjoyed their stays with us. We remain committed to providing a clean, well-maintained home and an exceptional guest experience, and we encourage future guests to read our many other reviews for a balanced picture of what they can expect.

Our family had a great time here! Very comfortable, Hugo was super responsive and very accommodating. The house was super clean, and so many amenities! Close walk to the beach or the bay. We loved it! We will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at the Lemon Shack! The owner was very prompt with communication and gave us helpful advice. We also appreciated the bikes to get to the beach and the beach chairs, umbrella, etc. We hope to visit again someday!

We LOVED the Lemon Shack! This felt like a home away from home. The host was so kind and helpful. They did such a great job making this home perfect and comfortable. They have everything you need to enjoy the beach. The location is fantastic as well.

Great property in a great location!

Property was great and Hugo was a fantastic host. Lots to do and short walk to both dock and beach! Everything you need is right there but also short drive to other restaurants and beaches. Would definitely book again!

Great location - cozy house

We had a great stay as a family of 6 with 4 teenagers. The house was clean and as advertised with lots of very nice welcoming touches. It was very tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the beach (within walking distance), the kayaks, bikes, and beach paraphernalia. The kitchen had a good selection of cooking supplies. Check in was easy and communication was very good with the host.

Great Spot

We had a fantastic stay at the Lemon Shack! It was within walking distance of the beach which we loved, and the house was perfect for our family of 6 adults. Hugo was a great host and we would absolutely book again if we find ourselves back in the area!

A perfect week

The Lemon Shack is a great place to stay. The location is perfect and the house is extremely comfortable and accommodating. We loved the outdoor areas because it was very easy to enjoy the weather without even leaving.

We are saddened by this unfair review. We are sorry that our newly renovated home was not good enough for this guest who behaved badly. We have over 50, five star ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ reviews. Our home was totally renovated in Jan, 2025 and is a 3-5 minute walk to our private access on Englewood Beach.
