The Captain’s Cottage was just the perfect place! It was well equipped, very nice furnishings and bedding and was very comfortable. The extra touches of complimentary toiletries including sunscreen, drinks in the fridge and a gift card to Iggy’s were so nice! We loved the privacy of the backyard and the fire pit! We are really looking forward to staying here again!

Clean and comfy. Good location and the amenities were nice. Parking instructions could have been clearer, but we figured it out easily enough. Overall a nice stay for a mother-daughter getaway.

Clean, quaint and comfy! As soon as you walk in, you know can tell it’s clean. The two bedrooms were perfect for us. We have two young kids and they loved the bunkbeds! The location is also key because it’s close to everything beaches, restaurants- you name it. Ironically enough, we stayed in the other house on the property last year and I didn’t realize it until now! And that house was pretty amazing too! Definitely will stay again

Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. The cottage aaa perfect. The welcomeBasket was such an amazing touch. We were so close to everything and even enjoyed Iggy’s next door. The cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed all of the little touches. There wasn’t a thing that we needed and it wasn’t there. Everything is so well taken care of. We enjoyed nights out by the fire and the days exploring the beaches and the area. What an amazing stay !! We are keeping this as one of our favorite trips and will be booking as soon as we can for our next trip to Rhode Island.

Great trip!

The Captain's Cottage was a cozy, wonderful place to spend a relaxing week with our family. The house was clean, perfectly appointed, and in a great location to local eateries. We enjoyed spending our days at the beautiful beaches nearby. We look forward to another stay in the future!

What a gem! This house is so beautifully decorated, so immaculately clean, so thoughtfully furnished and so well located. It is close to numerous beaches and restaurants, yet tucked away in a gorgeously landscaped yard which offers great privacy. We loved this property and look forward to a return stay!

Lovely quiet, calming, clean home with beautiful landscaping and plenty of outside space. Great host. Close to everything on offer, you’ll just have to chose which beach and clam shack you’re going to today!

As noted iron didn’t work message host never received a replacement. Water dripping in the refrigerator. Mirror on 2nd bedroom not secure was taped up and fell off. Lastly back lock on slider broke when trying to lock it.

Just perfect!

This house is just perfect for a small family. The house is beautiful inside and out, the landscaping is gorgeous and yard is perfect for after beach hang out and play time. It is a short drive to, in my opinion, the best beach in New England, Scarborough State Beach! The property owners and managers were very responsive and helpful. We would stay again! Thank you so much for the memories!

Great Place!

Loved staying in this tidy, pretty cottage. I stayed here by myself but had local friends visit and stay in the bottom bunk. Everything is new and clean and the fire pit was awesome. It was just what I needed! We went to beaches, Newport, Watch Hill, and hit just about every restaurant in town. So much fun and thank you for being great hosts! Loved the welcome basket!

A perfect little house for 4 people for a week. Close to several restaurants and the ferry to Block Island. We enjoyed our stay.
