Guest (studio) casita located on Arabella Mtn. in Limpia Crossing, 9 miles from Fort Davis and 8 miles from McDonald Observatory. Cools mornings, pleasant afternoons. The casita has everything you need to get away from it all. Sleep in or have early coffee and watch the wildlife. One can choose to have dinner in town or cook and have a quiet dinner in the casita. Star gazing is beautiful here in the Davis Mountains.

The casita has kitchen/dining area with seating for 4, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee pot. Large walk-in shower with towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer. Queen bed and a queen Lazy-Boy Slumber Aire sofa sleeper with linens, blankets, pillows. TV with DVD player with DVD's available and DISH TV. Cell phone booster to improve cell service. Playing cards and jigsaw puzzles, books on the area and astronomy available for guests to use. Washer and dryer. Small BBQ grill for your use.

Guests have access to the casita and are able to hike up Arabella Mountain if desired.

Peaceful! Just what we wanted!

The Casita was clean and comfortable. It was well supplied. We enjoyed being in the country but close enough to town if we needed anything. Perfect!

Great place to stay!

This was a great place to stay for peace & quiet in the Fort Davis area and easily accessible. The casita was very clean, spacious, well equipped and had two very comfortable beds. It's very close to the state park as well as the observatory, which is a great place to visit.

Wonderfully Clean and Cute

This is a very clean casita and had everything we needed and more! The hostess is wonderful, and furnished the casita with so many helpful extras such as books, maps, and more. It is in a perfect location for visiting Davis Mountains National Park and the McDonald Observatory.

Wonderful place to stay. Well stocked with all necessary things. Clean and well maintained property. Quiet and peaceful. Great Sunrise views from patio. Only 15 mins to McDonald observatory and within 30 mins to Davis mountain state park and historic site. Muffins provided by host are very delicious. We will highly recommend this place to all our friends and if we visit again, we will definitely book this again.

Amazing!

Our stay at the Casita was amazing! It was everything we hoped for. The host provided all the expected amenities and more! The property was beautiful and exquisitely maintained as well. Definitely recommend!

Great Casita

We enjoyed our stay in this Casita. It was very clean and comfortable. We had a large living space and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our host was very helpful and we highly recommend this property.

Enjoying the Davis Mountains

A nice property for a couple with a good location on the scenic loop. Great views of surrounding mountains. A good mountain to climb right behind the casita. Casita is well equipped and comfortable. Covered patio on the side was nice. Hosts very friendly and available as needed for questions.

Wonderful Stay in Fort Davis

Casita was perfect; clean, comfortable and well appointed kitchen. Owners friendly without being intrusive. Loved the banana muffins they left for us on arrival.

I loved the view from the house. Very peaceful. The inside of the house was well maintained and cozy. The people who owned the house were very friendly and nice. I would would definitely stay there again.

The location has a great view of the hills, and it is safe and quiet. Full kitchen was great for cooking a few meals. It was a quick drive to Davis Mountains State Park

Relaxing and peaceful

We had an amazing stay and will be back!! Place was fully stocked and the muffins were amazing!! We star gazed and we're just blown away and all tje astronomy books made it even better..Thank you again for your hospitality!!

Wonderful, very clean, beautiful views

My brother, cousin and I picked this cabin as a base for our 4-day adventure motorcycle rides through the beautiful Fort Davis - Presidio - Big Bend area. This place was the PERFECT place. Night sky star gazing is wonderful. Additionally, this cabin is situated such that you get amazing sunrise AND sunset views. The cabin is pristinely clean, has everything we needed, and the hosts were wonderful. Both of the husband/wife team stopped by to check on us at check-in and again mid-way through our stay. They are the quintessential all-American, nice couple. I give this place my highest recommendation. We will be back.

We had a lovely stay at this property! The property was comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners were available if needed. The sunrise was beautiful, the stars were spectacular and the property has several resources that talk about the area. We had a pleasant stay.

Wake up to a mountain sunrise

We could have chosen to stay in town in a motel room but luckily I found Casita Arabella on a mountainside at 2900’ with living room/bedroom, a spacious dining and well-equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, plus birds and deer on the mountain. No near neighbors, no noise, nice swivel-mounted tv.

All the comforts of home

This was the perfect place for us. Cozy and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful. Spectacular view. Beautiful weather and pictures. Visits by birds, Javelina and rabbits. Sights to visit. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!

Great little place

Excellent location - between Ft. Davis and McDonald Observatory. no road noise. Can climb up the mountain on the property, which is fun. Comfortable beds and climate control. We loved Casita!

Delightful, Peaceful and Private

The Casita on Arabella was exactly what we had hoped for! The location is perfect and private. The fully equipped kitchen makes it great for mealtime. The views are outstanding and the stars are plentiful. Deanne the host stopped by the first night to check on us. There were binoculars and reclining chairs for us to enjoy the stars. We would love to come and stay again!

We are a semi-retired couple who love to travel. We moved to Fort Davis in 2013 from south of Houston. We also own an ice cream shop located in a Burlington Northern Caboose and an antique shop.
