The property was just as described. A great little home hidden by trees offering a beautiful view of the Davis mountains and star filled skies. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked, and our two little girls loved the stay. This was definitely worth the stay and I highly recommend staying.

Loved our experience. Responsive host - clean and comfortable property with well stocked kitchen. Starlink did interrupt Wi fi service but only for a half minute or so. I understand this is due to satellite movements. Not too bad but it did disrupt my conference calls briefly. Saw a few quail and a jack rabbit. All in all, a great experience though. We will be back.

We had a very relaxing quiet stay. On the final evening a brief rainstorm produceri a beautiful double rainbow.We plan to stay here when we visit next year.

Our stay in Ft. Davis was great. The house was very clean and we had everything we needed. We loved the view looking out the back. It was nice to feel like we were in the country but town was close by. Our stay was excellent.

When I was first looking for a place to stay I must admit that as soon as I saw a picture of the back porch and the view I was hooked. A look at the other photographs confirmed my choice and we were not disappointed in the flesh either. The two bedrooms are a good size and we were really pleased with the bed that we had and I know our friends felt the same way about theirs. The kitchen is well stocked and perfect for actually cooking! The dining living area is lovely, comfortable and full of a life well traveled. The views were super and I enjoyed watching the dawn everyday we were there. It would have been nice to have found a few more shops open in Fort Davis but I know this is not peak season for that and even that couldn't spoil anything! It is 14 years since we were last in Ft Davis and we will plan a return trip much quicker! It was a wonderful truly relaxing and delightful stay and absolutely made by the place we were staying in. Thank you!!

Enjoyed our stay!

This is a great cozy house tucked in the mountains. Very clean and comfortable. We had a great stay and enjoyed the Mountain View’s and the horses on the property. Would definitely stay here again!

Peace and quiet with amazing views

What a fantastic stay! The property is perfect and we enjoyed all the thoughtful little extras. We visited Fort Davis to be close to Balmorhea springs and the McDonald Observatory, and this location was perfect. Quiet, peaceful, with incredible West Texas landscapes.
