Large attractive studio, windows with great winter views, leafy vista In the summer. Firm queen-sized bed. Well-equipped space with desk, large kitchen table, wardrobe. Bathtub/shower in large bathroom, kitchenette and small deck. Owners live on upper floor and are available with tips and suggestions. The quiet street surrounded by trees is a 10 minute walk to Good Harbor Beach. Downtown Gloucester is 1/2m. to 1 m walk with its shops, restaurants, museums, whale watch, boat cruises, fishing charters, and other attractions. In winter, great spot for a getaway with large table for projects. Designated parking spaces.

A very quiet place, very spacious, walkable to the beach, 20 minutes to downtown at a brisk pace or 30 if leisurely. Easy communication with the owner. Quiet charming. Gloucester was altogether a surprise. Interesting cultural history. Wonderful scenery and astonishing beaches.

Christmas in Gloucester

I have just returned from a wonderful stay in Gloucester. The room and location were perfect for my stay. The hosts went above . Everything about my stay to accommodate the changes in my schedule so I was able to come later and stay longer. I am so grateful to them for this opportunity to spend extra time with my family.

Cozy and in a convenient location!

We had a lovely stay in these cozy accomodations. Convenient location to Boston and Salem, we did day trips to both. Communication was good, and the whole experience met our expectations. The town and local beach is cute and easy to walk.

Great for one or two

Great location! Very nice studio apartment. Great for one or two people. FYI Refrigerator is very small. It fits under the counter. A little bit of a challenge since I brought stuff for breakfast and lunch, but I made it work.

Great Folk Offering a Great Location

I am native to Gloucester and visiting family. With limited space with my family, I saw the listing and its location and booked here. It is walking distance from Good Harbor Beach and Downtown/Gloucester Harbor. The checkin was easy. The hosts, whom I met, were very hospitable. The parking is best for those taking one vehicle, but there was always a space available. The unit is clean and has a nice table to handle any workstuff that may arise. Ultimately, as a former local, if you are wanting to enjoy all Rockport and Gloucester offer for a 2-3day stay, this is your place.

An Ideal Stay

Solo traveler found the intimate place ideal for enjoying beautiful towns of Gloucester and nearby Rockport. My three-night stay was pleasant, comfortable, and free of problems. The host was quite friendly, responsive and helpful.

Weekend getaway

My family enjoyed our 3 night stay. The room was clean and the property manager(owners) were very pleasant to work with. They worked very quickly to fix an issue we had with being locked out of the place. Quiet little area and seemed very safe to stay with a family.

Wedding weekend

We came into Gloucester for the weekend to celebrate our friend’s wedding. We absolutely loved this studio. It was spacious and cozy for two! It was very centrally located too!

Great Find!

This spot was just what my daughter and I were hoping for on our very quick but enjoyable beach getaway. Well situated, clean, quiet -- we couldn't have asked for better. So glad to have found this as an option for visiting Good Harbour.

Decent place, privacy so so.

There was an overlap of my arrival and the departed. Unit wasn’t ready at said check in time. Owner friendly, after a very long drive I just wanted a shower and calm. Owner was spinning laundry in unit, came back in an hour and wanted to do her laundry? I said no. That was uncomfortable. Every conversation overhead can be heard very clearly. The parking is on a steep angle, not the easiest for unloading luggage etc. Multiple doors on entering for owners unit overhead. It worked for a quick few nights, it was clean and had all I needed. I personally didn’t feel I had my privacy.

Weekend getaway

Very well maintained, clean, tastefully decorated.. many suggestions about things to do in area, as well as places to eat…was a little noisy with children running back and forth, but was ok…quiet at night, slept well…

Pure Joy & Tranquility

Our 2nd stay here, certainly not the last! Don & Gabrielle Gropman are awesome hosts! Cozy & clean apartment (Note: No TV! Fantastic!) walking distance to downtown Gloucester, Stop-N-Shop grocery, 7-11, Charlie’s Place diner & Good Harbor Beach. Location is ideal for walkers, joggers, & serious seashore kitefliers! Cape Ann Glen T. Macleod YMCA is a mere 8-min. drive away for gym advocates & lap swimmers who have Y National Memberships.

Great cozy place to stay

Had a great weekend on Cape Ann. Location was great, very close to Gloucester and a short drive to other points like Rockport and Halibut Point State Park. Slept well with plenty of blankets available for a winter night. The kitchen had everything needed for a weekend stay with sink, mini fridge, and a hot plate. And Gabrielle was very nice and accommodating! Would recommend staying here!

Clean and comfortable, walkable location

The space was set up nicely for a short stay. Very clean and comfortable with a private entrance. We were not inclined to cook however did use the limited kitchen setup for making drinks. Room for storing cold beverages and the owner has a nice filter to use water from the tap - thank you! A longer stay would be difficult if you want to cook however I think minor cooking was possible. Located up on a hill so the walking gave you a bit of a workout, but it was a lovely neighborhood and we walked to breakfast, lunch, and dinner from there. Easy 5 min drive into "downtown" for more options.

Weekend Getaway

My friend and I wanted to visit Salem for the first time for the October festival. I happened to find this listing and I am so glad we chose to stay here, even though it was about 30 minutes north of Salem. The town itself is so beautiful, especially the nearby beaches! The rental property was perfect for two people and was very cozy. We plan to stay here again in the future!
