Soaring stone fireplace, open living room & kitchen with breathtaking views, spectacular sunsets & beach walks. Beautiful base to enjoy the area's many attractions. Craft breweries, distilleries, wineries, world-class golf, skiing, boating, gaming & dining abound nearby.

Perfect base for just getting away. Located right on the shore of Lake Michigan with beautiful views onto the water. Sleep to the sound of waves, wake to coffee on the deck overlooking one of the world's most beautiful panoramas, Lake Michigan, and relax at day's end over cocktails and dinner before brilliant sunsets with waves gently lapping at your feet. Close by as a base for hiking, biking, boating, swimming, golfing, birding, dune climbing, wine-tasting & the area's many attractions along the famed M22 corridor. Miles of walks along the lakeshore and on the many trails in the Acardia Dunes, Elberta Dunes & Arcadia Marsh Nature Preserves.

Spacious indoor/outdoor common areas, open living room & kitchen floorplan overlooking Lake Michigan with a 3-season room. The house has one king and one queen bedroom on the second floor. On the ground floor is queen bedroom. There is an xl twin and pull out full futon sofa on the second floor also. Full baths are on each floor. The house was amazing! So close tot he lake, beautiful views from many rooms and the beach was perfect. Super responsive hosts and well equipped kitchen - we only left twice to get ice cream from the local shop :)

This was the perfect cottage for our getaway. The house is just a 30 step, very stable stairway down to a nice beach and the lake. The cottage was clean, well stocked for cooking, and cozy. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves. Mercedes was a very communicative host!

What a treat! View of Lake Michigan was magnificent! A definite ‘WOW’ when we walked in! House was as pictured; great spaces, beautifully decorated, homey, well equipped, and comfortable! The back deck, beach and lake short was excellent! Beautiful safe deck with seating, very sturdy stair way, and sugar sand beach. Lake front had a very gradual slope allowing us to do recreational activities…frisbee, swim, floats, etc. Area is nice! We spent time in Arcadia, Frankfort, LeeLand, and Traverse City! Many wineries, distilleries, trails, parks, shopping, etc. in the area! The hosts were quick to respond to the few questions we had! Also supplied us with some of their favorite activities, eateries, wineries, and trails in the area! We had a wonderful time! Thank you Mercedes and Peter!

Love this place

This is my groups favorite lake house. Location is perfect, the deck is spacious, the house is so clean and comfortable and the hosts are amazing.

Exceptional Vacation Spot to Unwind

This is a great house and location. Exceptionally clean with the small amenities that are always helpful when setting up for a week long vacation house. There are excpetional beaches, restaurants, hiking trails, and golf nearby. A quiet special place from our perspective.

Perfect Beachfront Getaway

Listening to waves rolling up on the back porch of this cozy home is just what the doctor ordered. Charming town 10 mins away provided a perfect 3-day weekend break from work. And the golf… oh the golf just miles away is spectacular.

Perfect for winter long weekend getaway

The VIEW was amazing...which is what prompted me to chose this house. House was as listed. Very clean, loved the fireplace, everything we needed for a quiet low key weekend. Definitely would stay again.

Stunning views and comfort

We sought a long weekend away to relax and unwind. This property was welcoming, well appointed and had everything we thought we needed (and more!). The views are stunning. We enjoyed the sunsets every evening. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Quiet weekend

Enjoyed a quiet weekend away with my partner. He liked to close proximity to the bike trail, I like the comfortable couch to work on my crochet project. The views are stunning. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. The bedroom was lovely with the seating in the window (again, stunning views). A home!

Weekend Birthday Get Away

This place was amazing! I was looking for a quiet relaxing place to decompress from my hectic life. The waves calmed my soul and lulled me to sleep each night. Walking the beach was so peaceful and quiet. I will definitely be staying here again! How itself was so nice, loved the large living room windows where I could watch the sunset and moon set over the water.

Dream on the Shore of Lake Michigan

They home was perfect for a relaxing stay with family. Our hosts shared great information on options in area. Left games and all that is critical to relax and stayed in close touch with experience. So close to great golf you must play and perhaps one of the best Italian meals we have had in Michigan. Oh and most importantly the lake at your doorstep. Lovely & Grateful

Wonderful getaway- beautiful views- fall asleep listening to lake michigan

Would highly recommend- beautiful views from every room and deck. Love listening to the waves of Lake Michigan. House super cute with very comfortable beds and so well stocked. I love the personal touch of adding a local bottle of wine and also that they have more than the basic stashes of things you want when you stay at a VRBO. Definitely want to come back again and hosts were so communicative and gave great recommendations.

Awesome house!!

We had a great time celebrating our Mom’s 80th birthday. House was very well furnished and great space to rest, relax, play games, enjoy the fireplace on cool winter weekend and just watch Lake Michigan and take in the view. Incredible sunsets. Highly recommend this home. Had everything we needed and more.

Perfect! Loved the quaintness of the cottage, the view was absolutely amazing, and all amenities were on point! Everything was so well thought out to accommodate guests! We were extremely impressed! We enjoyed Frankfort and Arcadia and surrounding areas. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful!

The home is beautiful and comfortable with amazing views of Lake Michigan. We watched sunsets over the water every night, enjoying the deck and stairs to sandy beach. Had a wonderful fire when it was chilly and opened windows to the breeze when it was warm. The owners responded immediately when we had questions and were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place for a fabulous stay!

The house could not be cozier, more comfortable, or more beautiful. INCREDIBLY WELL STOCKED kitchen--pots and pans, utensils, tableware and dishes, coffeemaker, PLUS spices and herbs for cooking, excellent knives, all we needed for coffee. Beds comfortable with great mattresses and pillows.Open living room/kitchen area great for family spending time together, but rooms cozy enough for individuals to have alone time when wanted or needed. Mercedes and Paul responded IMMEDIATELY to any inquiries, were gracious and made us feel warmly welcomed. They CARE that your stay is good.
