The Sandpiper Condos are located on Tybee Island's
South Beach within walking distance to the pier, pavilion, shops, bars, and restaurants.
Weeklong rentals are a must in June and July, 7 days, Saturday to Saturday.
The elevator will take you up to the second floor for
your beautiful, private, spacious, 1400 square feet of vacation pleasure with a side view of the ocean from the balcony. We have Impact/High Performance windows and sliding glass door that are up to code for coastal and island properties.
Description of Condo: Updated with ceramic tile flooring so there is no carpet. This condo features a fully furnished kitchen with Corian countertops. The full sized refrigerator/freezer /ice-maker combination, smooth top stove, microwave, and dishwasher will make 'cooking in' very convenient. There is a large pantry and extra shelves for storing your groceries.
There is seating for 4 at the bistro table, 4 at the counter, and 4 on the balcony.
Accommodations for Guests: free highspeed WIFI, cable TV, 4 TVs (a smart TV in each bedroom). The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa and 2 recliners (both new 2022), 40 inch smart flat screen TV, There is a collection of books, jigsaw puzzles, and DVDs as well as some older games: Chess, Checkers, Backgammon, cards, UNO, Skipbo, Yatzee, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Gestures, Candyland, Monopoly. We have a collection of mostly childrens' DVDs, also.
Activities and Attractions:
Several restaurants and bars within walking distance. Actually, there is a restaurant on each side of the condo.

Tybee Post Theatre - great venue for musical events and movies
Several restaurants and bars have live music.
Water Sports: Swimming, Boating, Surfing, Shelling, etc.

Tybee Island was absolutely amazing and I am so thankful to Kris for allowing us to stay at their beautiful condo. It was very clean and it supplied all the necessities, and then some! Private parking was so convenient and the location was perfect! Right on the beach!! Kris also supplied us with a "things to do" list for our stay and we did them all! My favorite was Bingo at the Legion. The locals were so sweet to my girls and I even knowing we were tourists. Tybee holds a special place in my heart now and I hope to be back with my family.

Hosts were very good communicators and have an excellent information package that’s provided after booking.I never felt like there wasn’t a question that wasn’t already answered. Perfect location, great condo and couldn’t have asked for more from an accommodation. I intend to book here again and would recommend it to anyone else looking. Just don’t try to book it the same weekend as me.

I was concerned with the close proximity to restaurants and shopping that noise would be an issue but it was not noticeable at all.The 2nd floor location and corner unit was very convenient to the elevators and being a corner unit was great for only having "neighbors" on one side.We would definitely stay here again.Cleanliness, communication, parking, proximity to beach access were all excellent!

Our stay was wonderful. The condo was just as describe. Wonderful, homey accommodations and so very close to the beach, downtown Tybee with excellent restaurants. We walked almost everywhere. I would definitely book again.

This place is great! We have a big group. It turned out that the pull-out sofa was broken, but the owner came over to try it and called the manufacturer to see what they could do. Other than that, this was flawless and so nice!

Place was a great fit for our family. Everything was great, parking is tricky and a little tight for larger vehicles. We had a van and Bronco and were a little uneasy getting in and out but thats pretty much all places down there. Overall very nice.

The place was great for the 2 nights that we stayed there. Very convenient to the beach, not sure about 200 steps, you may have a longer stride . very quiet and clean, really enjoyed our stay. will book again

This condo was very spacious with plenty of room for our family of 4 that prefer separate beds. It is located right in the middle of several shops, bars and restaurants so can be a bit noisy at night, but you are close to everything including the Beach. We had a minor problem with the dishwasher while there and after texting the host we were able to resolve it in minutes. The queen bed needs a new mattress, major indentation in the middle. I would recommend this condo for a group that’s looking to be close to the beach and right in the middle of the action.

We loved our stay here! Condo was very roomy! Place was very clean and beds very comfortable! We were close to beach, stores and restaurants! When we return to Tybee, we will be staying here again!

Anfitrión: Kris Nilson (I live locally, in Savannah).
We are two sisters, Kris Nilson and Barbara Metts, who are co-owners of this condo and grew up in Georgia. When we were children, we visited Tybee Island with our family and loved it. In 2005, we returned to Tybee and decided Tybee was the place to own a condo where we could visit often.
