This lovely oceanfront townhome located on Tybee Island's south end features panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Little Tybee Island. While still maintaining its close proximity to all the islands wonderful eateries, shops and activities it has a feeling of isolation that promotes its tenants to sit back and relax on their vacation. Upstairs has new flooring, stairway and was freshly painted in December 2023 Downstairs and kitchen were renovated in December 2020 to add more luxury to your stay.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath home is beautifully decorated and full of all the amenities that you would expect in a top notch rental.

Beachy Keen is in a great location with a wonderful ocean view. We walked all over the southside and to the Tybrisa street area. My only concern is the outside stairs to the main entrance. While I walk 2 miles each day, go to a fitness center 3 times a week, using the elliptical and the weight circuit. the stairway was intimidating. It was impossible to hold onto the railing in a continuous way and the railing is only on one side. The steps seemed narrow and some seemed warped. I used extreme caution, doing one step at a time, while stopping to adjust to the railing. Once I determined how to navigate the stairs, my anxiety no longer ruled and our stay was incredible. The kitchen was well stocked, the decorating was pleasing( except for the day bed in the great room??) and the bed was comfortable. We definitely would return to Beachy Keen. Oh, and the cleanliness of the outside furniture as well as the cleanliness throughout needs to be noted.

The property was very clean and beautiful on the inside. The host was accommodating in letting us check in an hour early since the cleaning had been completed. However, it was not a house, as described. It was a duplex at best. There was an attached property. The outside, especially the attached property, was a little rundown. Our only “real” complaint was that the upstairs air conditioning did not cool properly and on the next to last night when we finally got it cool enough, down to 72 degrees, it started leaking from the large vent in the upstairs hallway. On a side note, we had to dry clothes 2 or 3 times in the dryer to dry them completely. All in all, it was a nice place to stay and the beach was beautiful.

Thank you for the review. The description o f the property is Townhouse as suggested by VRBO when we listed the property. I apologize if that is confusing as it is attached to another townhouse. The upstairs air has been fixed. I have discussed with the owner of the attached townhouse in the past to update the exterior. Unfortunately, I am not able to get them to complete the renovations. I hope they will soon. Thanks again for staying with us.

Great view and an awesome master bedroom. Place was clean, bright and airy. The ocean breeze coming thru the sliding doors was amazing. I would only mention the driveway to the parking area is narrow so would not recommend any large vehicles trying to navigate the entrance and parking area. There is a separate beach parking area directly across from the property thoough.

Fantastic views on end of island away from crowds

Great views in a great location on the island. Less crowded since you are at end of the island but easy walk to the restaurants and shops around the pier.

Great Ladies Getaway

Girls Trip

This was the perfect place for a small girls weekend. Property was clean, well stocked, great location, and within walking distance to beach, stores, restaurants, etc. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Great spot

We had a great week at Beachy Keen! The location is perfect right across from beach access. Very quiet location yet walkable to all the restaurants/ bars. The kids brought scooters, skate boards/ blades and were able to utilize the parking area for the beach in the evenings. Would def recommend this spot and would stay again!

A quiet week at the beach

When we arrived, the property was ready and very inviting and spotlessly clean. The location was ideal - within walking distance of shops/food and, most importantly, only a few steps from the beach. My only regret is that we could not stay longer.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The house was fully equipped with all we needed to cook and relaxed there. Beautiful view of the beach from their porches. Comfortable beds for adults and for the kids. Loved it.

Stunning views!

Lovely property; steps to the beach - sunrise in one direction, another few steps, watch the sunset. Great location, responsive hosts. Bed was comfortable; we had everything we needed and felt rejuvenated- we didn’t want to leave!
