South Lake Tahoe is waiting for you at our 3-bedroom cottage. Please note that our cottage is located on a busy street, so there is only parking for one large car in the garage. Each bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, ensuring a good night's sleep for all guests. With 2 and 1/2 bathrooms equipped with hair dryers, your morning routine will be a breeze. Our cottage has been a happy place for our family to gather when my husband and I were raising our children. It is wonderful to see our children introduce to our grandchildren the magic of our sweet cottage. It has been a “labor of Love” for over 20 years. Interior design is my passion, so it has evolved over the years. My hope is that you and your family will find it cozy and inviting. 5/5 Stars – Perfect South Lake Tahoe Stay!We had a wonderful, very relaxing stay at this South Lake Tahoe property! The home was comfortable, exceptionally clean, and very well-appointed with everything we needed for a seamless visit. The central location made getting around town and enjoying the area completely effortless.Communication with the host was fantastic from start to finish, and the easy check-in and check-out process made the entire trip stress-free. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to stay again on our next visit to Lake Tahoe!

Overall this was a great vacation and wonderful property to stay at. All information provided about the property was very descriptive and made both check-in and check-out very smooth. The location was great and I would recommend staying here for your stay in Tahoe.

One of the best stocked homes I have ever stayed at, everything was amazing. Communications with the host was easy and everything was accurate. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Lana was a great host, willing to accommodate to last minute changes. The cottage was very cute and cozy, It was very nice to have nearby restaurants and activities (bike rentals and routes). Overall it was a great stay, parking two cars was an issue, but we were able to resolve that problem.

We had a wonderful stay! The space was clean, cozy, and felt just like home. It had every appliance we needed, making our stay comfortable and convenient. Communication with the host was easy from start to finish,they were responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Host was very responsive and the property was very clean and excellent. The property had lots of amenities and the kitchen was fully stocked with various utensils cooking appliances a grill out back everything a person would need. They also have very nice coffee machines so making coffee is absolutely not an issue. If you are an espresso fan they have one of those and a Nespresso so be sure to bring some of your favorite Nespresso pods along, although the host also had some pods available which was very considerate.Be aware that being in the Lake Tahoe region parking is always limited so there is only space for one vehicle parking inside a protected secure garage and ideally a smaller or mid sized car but contact the host for details and options if you have a larger vehicle (oversized truck for example).

Disappointing stay with several significant issuesThe property initially seemed nice, but several issues became apparent after the first night. It is on a very busy road with parking for only one vehicle. With family arriving from out of town, I had to search for parking elsewhere and worry about my daughter’s car being towed. The driveway is also on a blind corner with cars traveling at high speeds, making it difficult and dangerous to exit.The single-pane windows provide little sound insulation, so traffic and motorcycles were loud throughout the night. With no A/C, the bedrooms became uncomfortably hot, especially with temperatures in the high 80s. We couldn’t leave the windows open because of the noise.The most concerning issue was when our young son found and touched a dead mouse in the bathroom. We notified the host, but the response was limited to an apology. Given that a child had contact with a dead rodent, we expected a much more proactive response.The stairs are extremely steep and awkward and must be used frequently between the garage and living areas.My daughter also experienced significant allergy issues and woke several times needing her inhaler. We moved the provided air purifier into her room, and it immediately indicated poor air quality.Overall, the parking, dangerous driveway, road noise, lack of A/C, steep stairs, allergy concerns, and especially the dead mouse made this a very disappointing stay. Future guests should be aware before booking.

The house was spacious and inviting. Pleasant decor and comfortable beds. Lana was helpful and always responded quickly when we had a question. Make sure you only have one car, as the house is situated on a main road with no street parking (better pricing!). It was not an inconvenience to us, just know before you go.

Our weekend stay was defined by an excellent interior and top-tier hospitality. The house is beautiful interior design with lovely communal areas and private sleeping quarters. What truly sets this cottage apart is how exceptionally well-stocked it is—we were greeted by an abundance of towels, a very generous supply of everything we needed, and a completely outfitted kitchen with high-grade cookware and appliances. Setting an example for other VRBO hosts!Our host was highly communicative and proactive. When the VRBO website suffered a major outage during check-in, leaving us without instructions, the host immediately stepped in and did everything possible to manually guide us inside. We don't blame them at all for the platform's glitch; their rapid response much appreciated.Note that the home sits directly on a very busy street with fast-moving cars, creating substantial noise. Earplugs are highly recommended for light sleepers. Fortunately, the traffic dies down around 9 PM, ensuring peaceful nights. Highly recommended!
