Fantastic property on a quiet lake, a ways from things to just set back and relax but not too far from things. The host reached out immediately, responded quickly to a question, and made things super smooth for our vacation. We felt like we had the lake and most of the UP to ourselves - had a fantastic trip!

Overall we got the rustic experience, very quiet, peaceful, and beautiful views and property. Would definitely stay here again. Great stay, very friendly host that helped with directions to the VERY difficult to find VRBO. I wish the driving instructions were e-mailed with VRBO's details, they were difficult to find in the app.

Absolutely perfect situation between Munising and Grand Marais, and reasonable drives to everything to see around Pictured Rocks. Having said that, if you never left the property you’d still have an excellent time enjoying the quiet, sunrise coffee on the dock, paddling, fishing, admiring the view from the cabin…I cannot say enough good things about the property and the hosts.

My wife and I were very happy with our stay. 4 nights. Many areas to go hiking. Very quite and peaceful. We were able to watch the Brewers beat the Dodgers in the first 3 games. Hope they finish them off. The only downside we had and it's not the fault of the host is the gas stations are quite a ways away. We brought our SXS and if I would have known I would have brought some extra gas. Everything from checkin to checkout was great.

Peaceful retreat. Watched the loons and otters …fished and kayaked on the lake. Close to beaches, waterfalls, and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

Loved the property. You dont need anything besides your food. Equipped with spices, kitchen utensils, matches, trash bags , etc, etc. Lots of toys for the littles, kayaks, canoe, John boat, paddle boat.

This property has everything provided for a great vacation experience. Located on a beautiful lake with kayaks, canoes and boats available. Serene wooded surroundings, clean rooms, comfortable beds and a very responsive host.

Property is off road, very quiet peaceful location. The lake was beautiful. Unfortunately it rained some every day during our stay so outdoor activities were limited but did enjoy the cozy indoors.

Host did a great job responding to questions. They also proactively reached out prior to arrival to discuss winter snow and vehicle capabilities to make sure we did not get stuck and knew what we were driving into.

Great stay

Great place to stay if visiting pictured rocks. House is SUPER cool with every amenity you could want in the U.P.

Wonderful lake house on a nice, quiet lake. The property has everything needed for a relaxing vacation. The house had plenty of room for all 6 of us (teens to adults). We enjoyed kayaking daily.

Had a great stay at this lake home. Very close to all the Pictured Rocks sites to see. Lots of things to do at the property itself, kids loved kayaking, swimming and fishing off the pier. Also very nice sunrises from the edge of lake.The family has already asked to go back next summer! Would highly recommend for a peaceful, secluded lakeside vacation rental.

We had a wonderful stay! Cabin was well stocked with everything we could ever need. Host was fantastic with communication and very responsive. Lots of exploring, fish caught and memories made! We will definitely be back!
