This property is an excellent getaway for those of us who would like a peaceful and relaxing time. It is very scenic and the cabin was beautifully built. It was a great vacation for people looking to unplug, read a book and just chill. The only thing to even possibly complain about was the wifi kept cutting out. But this was no big issue for my group.

Thank you for the kind words about the property. The telephone company did switch the cabin from DSL to Fiber internet just before your stay and had some issues with the new modem. Those issues were resolved right after your stay, and we now have fiber internet with amazing WiFi speed and connectivity in the middle of the woods! Thanks, Mitch

The host was responsive and the property was perfect for our family. The location is breathtaking! Lots of relaxation and outdoor activities. Not to far from the Grand Marias beach! The dream bean had the most amazing cinnamon rolls and is only 10 mins from the property! Plenty of room if you want to bring family along! The added bathroom was perfect! Only thing I think that would need to be done to make this property the best, would be to upgrade the beds, it was very difficult to sleep after a full days adventuring, but other than the beds it was great, we will be back!!

Very comfortable. Stayed inside most of the time when we were there. The reflection in the lake was very picturesque. Nice base for our adventures

The cabin was very nice. It was clean and relaxing. The host was great and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be booking this place again.

Most peaceful place ever!!! So much to see & do!

Such a quiet, clean, and peaceful place to stay. A true retreat! Everyone got to do what they wanted on this trip...Fishing was GREAT!!, Hiking, waterfalls, the big lake, museums, and parks...just too much fun to mention. A GREAT family getaway!

Great place to stay!

We loved this cabin and it’s surrounding!! Everything g was very clean and plenty of space! I would recommend people take a couple screenshots of the directions and map before heading there because it’s a dead data zone for a bit but we found it and enjoy everything about our stay.

Our trip to the U.P.

The Woodford provided a great home during our first trip to the upper peninsula. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend the property.

Excellent Snowmobiling Location

I can now check off a bucket list item as we had a great cabin to snowmobile out of. The cabin was great and located right off the main trail system. We will be going back.

Honeymoon

We spent our honeymoon here and it was more then we expected. We plan to bring the family back next year for vacation. Very worth the money and drive. Excellent place.

Woodford stay

Our stay was amazing and just what we needed. There was room for everyone, the house was clean and cozy! The front porch was my favorite. The kids liked the lake! Far enough away from town but still easy to get to. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful property in front of a serene lake. Enjoyed listening to the birds in the porch and in front of the fire! Great space for the family.

Very clean, comfortable and private lake cabin

We loved staying at this cabin. It was very clean, comfortable, private and in a beautiful location on a small lake. There was plenty of room for our party of 3. We had hoped to use the kayaks but ran out of time. If we return to the area we will definitely try to stay here again.
