Your Family will Enjoy this SPACIOUS Private Home Nestled in a Quiet Culdesac ! Sheets and Towels Provided. Large oversized lot, plenty of open space with New Volleyball Court, play Pool, enjoy Swimming in our Private Salt Pool or relax in our New Hot Tub etc. Wake up to a Beautiful Sunrise with Ocean Views over a hot cup of coffee from Deck off the Great Room and Sunset from the West Side Decking . Top Floor-Open Large Great Room, Dining Area (deck facing the ocean) Updated Granite Kitchen with private decking to view sunsets. Also has a Master Queen Bedroom with its own Sitting Room (twin fold up bed available in sitting room) facing the ocean. There is also a half bathroom on the landing .

The Second Floor contains a Large King Master Suite with Sitting Room (contains a fold up twin bed) with private decking of the west views. Master Queen Bedroom with Full Bathroom, Large King Bedroom (private deck ocean side) that shares a bathroom (Jack & Jill) with a Oversized Bedroom and 2 Queen Sized Beds. T.V’s in all bedrooms, Great room and game room.

The First Floor has a Large Game Room with Pool Table , Granite Wet Bar , Full Size Refrigerator , TV, DVD, Roku, Half Bath, Gas Fireplace, Books, Video Library, Games & Patio with Pergola and Picnic Table.

There is a laundry area on the first landing.

Enjoy this Large Private Pool Area with Cabana Half Bath and Private Dressing Area, and a Outdoor Shower .

New 2022, mattresses, 3 new bedroom furniture in 3 bedrooms. New refinished wood flooring in great room. New decking west side, deck furniture.

The sitting areas in two of the master bedrooms -available pack n play, twin fold up beds, booster chair, high chairs, gates and play pen. Child Friendly Home!

Our beautiful wide sandy beach has a lifeguard posted..
Short stays (min 4 nights) are available in early spring and off season. Check in from Saturday to Saturday.

Home located East of Route 12, close to tennis and beach (walking distance 0.2 miles 1056 ft/350 yds) this house is not on Route 12 and there is no walk thru access to route 12 from the house.
Like jogging, running, walking or cycling we have a newly constructed walkway on route 12 4 miles long.

Awesome Vacation

Our family vacation at Pelican Rest was everything a vacation should be at the beach. Everything was included such as beach chairs, wagon, pool, grill and a host that was always available for questions or help with anything we needed.

A Wonderful Beach House

We had the best week at this beach house. Eileen is the perfect host as she thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The house is very clean and as soon as we walked through the doors we felt at home. We absolutely loved the heated salt water pool. Absolutely 5 starts out of five and total 👍

Great Family House

This property was well stocked and well maintained. Eileen is so helpful and easy to work with. If there is anything you need she quickly checks it out or gets it for you. My family had a very enjoyable stay at this property.

Amazing shore house!

This was by far the best house I have stayed at the outer banks! It had everything you need and the cleanliness was impeccable. The salt water pool was amazing. Eileen was such a conscientious and communicative host. Thank you Eileen for sharing your lovely property with us !

Loved it all!!!!

3 families, 6 adults, 6 kids, perfect set up for all of us. Loved the short walk to the beach, safe and clean in-ground pool, and hot tub. Lots of space upstairs and on ground level. Great location for lots of fun around Corolla. Would absolutely go back to the same place!

We had a Great vacation!

We had a great vacation! Eileen was very helpful, and helped us out when we had questions. The house was just a short walk to the beach, even the younger children had no problem. A beach wagon was provided so that helped. The house looked just like the pictures. The pool and hot tub were great!

Corolla stay

Wonderful house including everything you need. Everything was perfect including the pool and host Eileen. 5 minute walk to the beach access stairs. Would stay there again. It's worth the wait getting thru the Duck traffic. Was a bit of road noise and lots of stairs, but still a five star property at a reasonable price.

Perfect family time

It was great because each individual family had a dog and they were able to bring them on family vaca.. my job now as the matriarch of family is to keep them together after I’m gone. We are building these adult memories. It was perfect

Perfect family beach home.

We loved it!!! Every detail was there. Kitchen well equipped. Beach towels. Cute decor throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better home for our family. We all enjoyed it very much.

Our First Family Vacation with 4 generations

Everything was great! Complete setup means just that, we had everything we needed. Rooms worked perfectly for our families, the pool was refreshing, hot tub was relaxing, and the game room was fun! Coffee ☕ every morning out on the deck! And Eileen was wonderful to speak with as she answered all my many questions! Thank you, we had a great week!

Beautiful Home and Great Owners

We had a large family vacation and looked for a large house. I can tell you that the pictures do not do the house justice! Beautiful house, great amenities, and a 5 minute walk to the beach! Mr and Mrs DeFazio were fantastic and really easy to work with. House and kitchen well stocked and little was needed. Minor issues were taken care of quickly and without hassle. We will definitely look to book with them again.

I would live here!

The home was so lovely. I loved the decor and all the space and the fact we all (7 of us) had our own bathrooms and for the most part decks! Everything that you can think of was provided for us - it was amazing. I would love to live here for the pool alone amongst other things. Eileen was a fabulous host who was extremely responsive anytime we called her. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely return. Thank you Eileen and Michelle!

Best week ever!

Awesome family vacation the house is amazing. You only need your personal belongings food and drink. The house is equipped with everything you need and then some. The host is an amazing person. She checked in with us and could be easily reached if we had any questions. The house was immaculate, We enjoyed the pool , hot tub, sand volley ball court, pool table. The beach is very clean there are steps but not crowded and very family oriented. The grocery store, shops and water sports very close, thanks again to a great host our trip was amazing.

Perfect OBX family vacation experience!

This property is exceptional and Eileen is an excellent host! Our family of 7 adults, 1 child (18 month old) and two dogs all had a great time staying in this very clean home with plenty of space and comfortable beds for everyone. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that we needed and more. We appreciated all the amenities available with this property, especially the baby monitor, safety gate and high chair for my granddaughter. We couldn’t have found a more child friendly and dog friendly property in such a great location! Everyone enjoyed the private pool area with heated salt water pool, hot tub, cabana and plenty of seating with umbrellas. The beach chairs and wagon that Eileen provided were very much appreciated! Eileen was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She made sure that we enjoyed our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Pelican Rest

My family and I stayed here the last week in August of 2015. Eileen and Bob were excellent hosts and saw to our every needs. The home was in excellent condition and is on the ocean side of RT 12. It is a short walk to the ocean and the beach is lifeguard protected. There is a supermarket within a mile of the property. The owners maintain the swimming pool on the property with frequent cleaning. We were totally satisfied with this property and thought it was a good value. The only thing separating it from 5 stars in my view is that I would like to have a hot tub. Love you Eileen and Bob.

Wonderful in every way

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Pelican's Rest for my husband's 60 birthday celebration. Our four sons and their wives/fiancées came from 3 different states along with 3 grandchildren. We all converged at this very warm home. Eileen was very easy and pleasant to work with and was quick to reply via e mail and phone to any of my questions and concerns. I felt like the accomodations were even BETTER than the pictures depict. The kitchen is wonderfully furnished for your cooking needs. The walk to the beach is very doable for little ones ( we had 3 that were 3 and under.) The DeFazzio's have provided lots of pool and beach toys for you use during your stay. Eileen also was such a hostess with questions about surrounding amenities such as stores and eateries.

We built our home in 1998, rented it for a few years. Then in 2001 retired and moved down to the Outerbanks. We then bought an additional rental home , and began renting it ourself. We love living by the Ocean !
