The Ott Spot is the perfect location to get away from the hustle of everyday life. With a tranquil setting, you're sure to leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. Bring the whole family to enjoy what nature has to offer!
An open concept living room-kitchen area allows for family and friends to easily enjoy each other's company. The first floor features 2 bedrooms and a full bath with washer and dryer for guest use. Up the stairs, you'll find the loft which is a great place to enjoy some peace and quiet. A half bath is available in the loft.
You may encounter wildlife as we've seen bear, deer and turkeys!
There is a pond within walking distance to fish and boat, if you wish!
Sullivan County is a beautiful area with 2 state parks: World's End and Ricketts Glen.

Great little cabin and very private. Plenty of room for our family of 6 and our pup. The outdoor areas are great from the pond that is a short 2-3 minute walk with a great area for bbq-ing, sitting watching the kids fish/boat, and our pup swimming for hours at a time. At the house the fire pit and decks were perfect for us too! We needed more fire wood and they brought it right away. It’s close to a couple great state parks too!

Wonderful cabin with all the amenities you could possibly need .We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful property. Rocking on the front porch and looking at the stars was incredible .Thanks Adrienne for being a wonderful host !

Great little hideaway!

We have stayed at this cabin 3 times and are always very pleased. The owner is great to deal with and the home is clean and well appointed.

Wonderful location

The cabin was perfect for our stay. A wonderful gathering place with great outdoor space. We would definitely stay again. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Great Spot

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ott Spot. The cabin was very clean and the location was perfect. It was quiet and comfy. We will consider booking again in the future.

Great Spot

The cottage was very clean, all of the amenities that they advertised, and a beautiful rural location ! Doug, and Adrienne were very accommodating. We had a great stay, and will stay there again.

Another wonderful stay

2nd time staying at the Ott Spot. We highly recommend and plan to return again soon. Truly kid and pet friendly. We enjoyed spending time on the property (fishing at the pond, campfires, running around in the yard) and visiting the local hikes/parks.

Perfect Family getaway

We were in town visiting family and very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean, well maintained, and very well appointed. We were able to find everything we needed anytime we looked for something. Will definitely be returning for future family gatherings.

Great getaway

This was such a cozy cute cabin! It provided everything we needed for the weekend and was very clean. We enjoyed fishing in the pond and the fire pit at night. Close proximity to World’s End State Park and Rickett’s Glen, which were both beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding retreat and wonderful hosts

This was everything we hoped for and more. A wonderful, quite, and well maintained retreat, the cabin and the land were so relaxing. The location was great to, so many places to explore, from the towns of Dushore, Laporte, and Forkesville, to the hiking and swimming at Worlds End and Ricketts Glen, we will be back for sure!

Perfect Getaway

What a perfect place to stay. The Cabin has everything, even a washer and dryer it truly is a home away from home. The fishing pond is a huge plus. This place is well cared for and was super clean. We felt so welcomed and can't wait to head back, maybe this fall 🍁.

Great escape

Great cabin in the woods with nature all around. Very clean all the comforts of home. Close to State Parks for hiking and kayaking. Hosts were great.

Awesome cabin!

This was definitely a great stay. The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway with "the guys" (my 6yo son, my brother-in-law and his 5yo, and a friend and his 4 yo). Attention to detail by the host was not unnoticed, and the place was VERY clean. We couldn't be happier with our stay and are already trying to find a time to return in the fall. I would highly recommend this place.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

The Ott Spot was built in 2006 by our father/father-in-law. It is adjacent to his 100-acre property and is part of original homestead. We absolutely love it.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The Ott Spot is gently tucked into the lush forest. A short walk down a dirt road or through the woods, leads to a 1.5 acre pond that was built by our father/father-in-law. Although we live 20 minutes from the property, we spend as much time there as possible. We hope you love it as much as we do!
