Welcome to Josephine in the most sought after area in all of Denver - Cherry Creek North. Hotels 1 block south are $600+/night! The most incredible dining in this entire region of the country & shopping @ Cherry Creek Mall won't be beat. Night-life options abound at Little Ollies, Forget Me Not, Cherry Cricket, Quality Italian, Del Frisco's & more! 100mbps internet free for guest use. 1 dedicated free private parking space. Smoke/vape free inside & out. Minutes from Downtown, 30 to Red Rocks. Owner stays in the upstairs separate apartment with her rescue puppy and family and does work from home - we will encounter one another more than likely or hear one another on occasion :-) Please let us know if things are too noisy! We do our best to keep upstairs noise and voices to a minimum after 10p :-) Additionally something to keep in mind, owner's utility room is on the lower level outside the guest apartment. This home was built in the very early 1900's; one of the original homes in Cherry Creek! Old home charms alongside its quirks. Lower ceilings, creaky wood floors, amazing backyard you're welcome to share! I've made lots of updates over the years, however if you're noise sensitive, a light sleeper, etc this may not be the perfect place for you! Price is reflective of all of these things :-) However, I am always available and happy to accommodate guests as best I can at your request.

Sara is so sweet and communicates so well. The property was quaint and cozy, very comfortable. I love how close we were to so many fun and cool things, and the convenience of the bus stop being so close.

Sara was a wonderful host and an excellent communicator throughout our stay! She was responsive, helpful, and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to Cherry Creek for the arts festival and enjoy the shops, restaurants, and everything the area has to offer. The unit was exactly what we were looking for, and we had a great experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The apartment was extremely clean, all amenities were accurate in the listing, there were more than enough towels, linens, etc. Sara was very nice, attentive & accessible. The unit was extremely comfortable & cozy!The apartment is in the basement of her home so you can hear everything on the upper level. Things being dropped on the floor, dog barking normally early in the morning so if you want to sleep in, use the ear plugs she provides in the bathroom. But if your an earlier riser, this will not be an issue. I will stay here again & highly recommend the location!

My daughter and I left this AirBB several days early. We didn’t enjoy the basement vibe and were there during a very hot time - with no AC. We could definitely hear the homeowner and her son and dog upstairs. That wasn’t a deal breaker for me as I’m a mom of twins and a dog lover. BUT between the heat, the noise, the low ceilings and virtually no natural light, this was not for us. I suppose it was a fine value and it is a great location.

The parking was a little hard to find, but if you follow her directions, you will find it. Super cute little basement apartment. It was a little noisy, but that’s to be expected in a basement. It wasn’t terrible though very very cute little space.

It was a nice place to stay at in between all of our travels. Host messaged throughout stay to make sure everything was ok. Definitely recommend! Close to a lot of little shops and restaurants.

The location was terrific for walking to great parks, the Botanical Gardens, Cherry Creek shopping and dining. The host was quick to answer our questions. In any other season, it would have been a better choice for me. My big mistake was, as a southern girl used to air conditioning, failing to notice that the unit did not have A/C. The temps were over 100 degrees while we were in Denver and it would have been much more tolerable to have had a at least a couple of nice sized box fan for both the living space and bedroom. We had one desk sized fan on a very HOT night. I suppose we could have contacted the host, but it was late after an evening out when we realized the issue and hated to bother the host at that time. The photos show a very light, bright, airy space but it is not a "daylight" basement unit. The description is likely accurate but my experience with a basement in the south is very different, so not what I was expecting.

It was a great place to stay. You have to watch your head in a couple spots because of the ceiling but it was a really nice experience.

Not very hospitable, i.e. requests for toiletries, and it was loud as hell at all hours during the day for our entire stay. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this property unless they are fine with constant noise. It seems like the perfect set up for you would be to own a different property that you rent out in this way and not your home because you obviously don't want people in your home.

You brought a dog into my house against rules an I’m still dealing with the mess and furr you left behind by allowing your dog onto all my furniture. You left a massive unflushed mess in the commode. My place was disgusting at your check out. The one time you reached out about any additional items being needed, i responded immediately as i live here. The listing is explicitly stated as “apartment style; i hear you - you hear me”. Read the description next time. You live here locally; you should’ve taken better care and you’re lashing out bc i told you no dogs. I should not be forced to house someone with a dog. This is a major failing of VRBO.

Inexpensive, casual basement level apartment perfect for folks looking for a cozy place to sleep. An ideal option for travelers looking to pay less than the boutique hotels one block to the South in an amazing neighborhood. One of the top destinations in Denver - Cherry Creek North! Very walkable, safe, tons of boutique shopping, movies, luxury shopping, top restaurants. I love living here.
My toddler and I live in the upper level - we will hear one another but I do my best to keep noise levels to a minimum! It’s one of the original homes in Cherry Creek - lower ceilings, smaller windows, etc. cozy bungalow style home. Perfect for travelers who don’t require ultra modern and more expensive accommodations. I keep the place well stocked and make myself available to my guests 24/7 during their stays!
