Real Escapes Properties is proud to offer this three-bedroom, three-bathroom upstairs vacation rental townhouse at Harbour Oaks on St. Simons Island.

Take approximately 20 steps to the front door and enter the first level of this lovely townhome. On the main floor, there is one bedroom with a full size bed, a full bathroom with a walk-in shower as well as the kitchen, den and dining room. Plenty of room for everyone!

The next level has a king master bedroom with en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. The remaining guest room has a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Harbour Oaks provides one covered parking space with extra spaces for additional cars.

The Harbour Oaks community is situated in a quiet gated area off Mallery Street. You are just a few blocks from the famous St. Simons Island Village/Pier, St. Simons Lighthouse, Neptune Fun Zone and many one-of-a-kind shops and restaurants. Just outside the gates, you will find the local park on Mallery Street featuring tennis & pickleball courts, dog park, baseball fields and playground.

Community amenities include a swimming pool (open seasonally), tennis courts and fitness room. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with lagoons throughout.

CHECK IN: 4:00 pm CHECK OUT: 10:00 am

• Group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (6 persons).
• Strict HOA 2 dog limit. Dogs are allowed with additional $100/pup non-refundable pet fee.
• 1 Covered parking spot is available. Additional parking is available for extra vehicles in unmarked spots.
• Approximately 1 mile to Public Beach Access; easy walk to the Pier and main Village area and pickleball courts!

Minimum Age to Rent is 25 years old - this applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.

What to Expect in your Unit:
• There are 4 TVs located in this property for streaming
• Linens (Bath towels & bed sheets) are provided along with a Starter Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels and Trash Bags. Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.

The property looked more modern in the advertisement, but the condo was clean, and the beds very comfortable. The stairs going into the condo need some work. The stair railing was a little bit loose, and the stairs need some repair work. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay.

The place was fairly clean but one of the pillow cases were full of dog hair and there was a used bar of soap left in one of the showers. Mine you, I know this is a pet friendly rental but it should have been fully cleaned in between guests. (Also I did not bring a pet so it wasn't from us) All 3 of the beds in the rental were unbearably hard. We ended up leaving early so we didn't have to bear another night in the smallest bedroom, in which, the bed was the hardest in the house. There were good things about it too. We did enjoy the view of the pond from the baloney with all the turtles swimming. Overall it was a beautiful townhome just need to replace the mattresses and hire better cleaning staff.

What I have found with several VRBO listings is that it is unclear how many floors there are and what kind of staircases and handicap access if available. It is often unclear which bedrooms are on which floor. This was also the case when I looked for VRBO properties in Pennsylvania for a trip we're taking late summer. So for each listing, I had to contact the host and ask whether stairs were part of the floorplan, etc. The listings need to be more clear about this. For example:Apartment/condo is on Second Floor and does not have elevator or handicap access.2 bedrooms are on main floorMaster bedroom is on the second floor and is not handicap accessible.

Great location and well appointed hideaway.

Harbour Oaks is a great place to stay near the village on SSI. It's also a quick walk, bike or golf cart ride to "other" side of the Isle--King and Prince area and East Beach. The condo overlooked the stream that runs through the complex so that you can see the turtles. The furniture was cozy and there are two master suites (in addition to a third bedroom), so ideal for two couples to share with kids. Dog friendly, too! The only down side was that the porch is so teeny (and access to it is blocked by the sofa) that it's really not a place you can sit. There are benches throughout the complex, so we were able to hang out there for a drink in the eve.

Fully equipped kitchen and nice size gathering area with lots of great seating. Very comfortable beds in all bedrooms with nice linens. Quaint little balcony porch. We loved it. Only challenge was accessing the 2nd story unit with our elderly parents.

Not as clean as our previous trips. Hair on kitchen counter, bathroom sinks, living room carpet, etc. When plugged in the electrical grill on the patio, the circuit breaker got overloaded, we were unable to use the grill.

The best thing about this condo is the proximity to St. Simon Village where there are lots of shops and restaurants all walkable within 10 mins! Property grounds very well cared for. The condo its self needs some help. The patio grill was disgusting and didn’t work ( I had specifically asked about a grill before we got there) and the slates door to the cold air return in the kitchen was covered in grim and thick dust. Either the sink or the dishwasher leaked water all over the kitchen floor one night. Quick response from emergency call number. The primary upstairs never got very cool (prob needs a new filter in air conditioning) and the faucet up there in the bathroom didn’t control the temp well. All the pillows need to be replaced or bring your own. Sheets were clean but didn’t match, but the beds were comfy. The storm door tension was way too tight slammed on you everytime you opened it and is in desperate need of WD40 for a loud squeak. Quick walk to pool which is very nice, plain but got the job done. Overall wouldn’t stay here again for many of the items above but the mgt. company could easily fix some of these issues and make it mush more enjoyable. We loved St. Simon Island will just find somewhere else to stay.

I highly recommend this beautiful townhome for your stay on St. Simons Island. The location is excellent — I loved being able to walk to nearby shops, restaurants, and historic sites. The home comfortably accommodated our group of six and offered plenty of amenities for cooking and entertaining. The neighborhood was peaceful, and the community pool provided a perfect spot to relax. This property is definitely worth considering for your next visit to the island.

Harbor Oaks 112 was a good fit since it was conveniently located to wonderful restaurants, the beach and shops. Our residence for the weekend was clean and homey. We also enjoyed meeting some new friends at Frederica Baptist Church for Sunday services.

Reviewer Comments: Our place had a couple of things we feel they should have, in second bedroom there was no dresser to put your clothes in and the smoke detector was broken. In the kitchen we feel that there should be more cooking utensils. Other than those couple of things we like our stay at Harbour Oaks, it was a very nice place and we will be at the same place next year. Real Escapes are very nice to work with.We enjoyed all the restaurants and going down to village .
