We had a wonderful stay! Check-in was easy, parking was spacious and the apartment is beautiful and clean. The goats and Cider the pony are adorable. Close to Longwood Gardens and all the yummy restaurants and cute shops in Kennett Square. I’d stay here again!

Great, quiet getaway in the countryside. Beautiful and clean residence. Major bonus points for Cider the mini horse and his goat friends! Close to some great restaurants and Longwood Gardens. 10/10 recommend!
The only photos I took all weekend were of the animals!

Great place to stay

Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and the area. This was a great choice for a place to stay. Slight hiccup with the check-in but Henry fixed the issue very quickly and everything was great!

Perfect Stay Every Time!

We have stayed at this rental several times and every time has been amazing! We love the quiet, country setting and the attention to detail in every space. We love connecting with Henry during our stay and we cannot wait to return!

Beautiful and quaint cottage

Exceptionally peaceful location, situated on a very scenic farmstead. This well appointed and wonderfully decorated cottage had everything we needed for a great 2 day stay. The owners were especially accommodating and friendly. We will stay here again soon.

Charming Countryside Stay

We have stayed at Swallow’s Nest twice and both times we’ve had excellent experiences. The moment you you park and enter the property, you can feel any stress melt away. Very close to many good restaurants and historic attractions. You’ll enjoy your stay!

Beautiful peaceful retreat

We came for our daughter’s graduation from UDel and even though it was a little far out of town it was the perfect getaway to chill out between events. Host were great and place was clean and very nicely appointed. We would definitely recommend and return! Goats were so fun to interact with!

Great place close to gardens and hiking

This is a wonderful place to stay. It's clean, comfortable and located in a nice rural setting. The owner is a great resource for finding all the best local hiking trails. It's conveniently located to visit both Longwood Gardens and Mt. Cuba Center. Highly recommend.

Enjoyable rural getaway

This is a perfect place to get away from the city for a few days. We used it as a base to visit Longwood (10-15 minutes away) and Chanticleer gardens. Henry was a friendly and helpful host.
