Perfect stay! Felt like home. The beds were soft. So were the pillows. Took our daughter and granddaughter here for a birthday trip. They had everything we needed and more. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

A perfect home base for our stay in Portland! Comfortable beds in a lovely residential neighborhood. 15 minute walk will get you to tons of different food trucks, bakeries, coffee shops, and restaurants. We loved The Mont for breakfast. The apartment had everything you could need in the kitchen and laundry room and was very easy to use. We appreciated the board games & puzzles that were available.Host was very communicative and helpful.

The location was great, and the inside was nicely decorated and clean. We were warned there were people above us, but the barking dog that woke us up each morning and the very frequent marajana smell lofting from the vents above was unfortunate. Jesse was great to work with, but I would not stay here again.

As noted in the listing, this is a downstairs unit in a shared 3 story home, but I understand that early morning barking and lingering smells can still be frustrating. We fully enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable for 2 couples with plenty of room and privacy. The location was wonderful. We walked to great restaurants and cofee shops.

Pros: Great location in a nice neighborhood. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought and effort into making the space fun and quirky. The unit is also well-stocked with towels, blankets, board games, kitchen supplies, and other essentials.Cons:-Noise: I expected some noise from an occupied unit upstairs, but the running and banging was frequent. Some of it occurred in the early morning hours and woke us up.-Mildew: The front bedroom, especially the walk-in closet, had an overpowering mildew smell. We didn't use that room, but I would have been concerned about having someone sleep there.-Cleanliness: We found pistachio shells scattered across the living room rug and what appeared to be mold or algae growing inside the Brita filter in the fridge.-Wi-Fi: The connection was occasionally spotty.Overall: The property has a lot of character and a great location, but the issues noted above unfortunately detracted from our stay. It could be a decent option for visitors spending most of their time exploring Portland, provided the mildew issue is resolved. But I wouldn't recommend it for remote workers or anyone planning to use it as a comfortable home base.

Cute basement apartment with unique decor. Close to downtown. It had everything you could need. Art was crazy! Loved the comfortable beds! Sheets were so soft I could stay there way too long!

Beautiful and fun house. Layout was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed! My kids loved taking turns sleeping on the daybed and we felt very safe in the neighborhood. Communication with the property manager was prompt and friendly. We plan on booking again next year for our annual family trip!

great location

easy street parking, great location to everything in Portland, very fun decor (my day was as good as my butt, thank you bathroom mirror!), great for kids, nice separation of space. Would love to return to enjoy grilling on the patio!
