Serenity on Seneca, located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region on the east side of Seneca Lake. This property is located on 1.5 acres and has 180 feet of private lake frontage. The house is located across the road from the lake,but the entire property is private for the renters. There are approximately 11 stairs to walk down to the lake area. Whether you are looking to visit the world renowned wineries in the heart of wine country or enjoy the beautiful lake, this is the perfect escape. Just minutes away from Geneva. Owners live local and are happy to share any recommendations on local things to do, places to eat, for you to fall in love with the Finger Lakes area.

The house:
• 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms have queen beds and 1 bedroom with two twin beds). All linens are provided. Closets in each bedroom.
• 1.5 Bathrooms. Half bathroom attached to master bedroom with queen bed. Laundry is also located in this bathroom.
• Large living room with decorative fireplace, wine barrel high top bar overlooking the view of the lake, tv, mini fridge, pull out couch for sleeping as well (2 adults can fit- goose/down pillows) and large oversized chair. This living room has an entry to the back-porch area with a sitting area and peaceful views to the backyard.
• Dining room is surrounded with windows with views of the lake.
• Sitting room has a leather loveseat and large living room chair and TV.
• Fully stocked kitchen Kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and stove. There is a Keurig and coffee maker.
• Wifi provided/ rokus for all televisions in the home

• Back porch has seating and small table with peaceful views
• Picnic table located in back yard and one at the lake
• Basketball hoop
• Two kayaks/ paddleboat
• Firepit area at the lake (firewood not provided) you can ask the host to get this ahead of time for you so it is there upon your arrival for $8 a bundle

• Seasonal dock in from June 1-Sept 15

Seneca lake is an organic lake, the base of the lake is rock based and does have seaweed seasonally.

Perfect weekend

Seneca Lake home

We had a wonderful stay and were very appreciative of the check in and communication with the host. The large room and the enclosed porch were very nice and comfortable. The furniture was uncomfortable in the interior room. Overall this was a very nice location and we loved viewing the sunset at the beach. Thanks again.

Lovely relaxing setting

We had a lovely time. The house is well equipped and the view is fabulous. I did find it unusual that guests were supposed to not only load the dishwasher but wait and put the dishes away. But that was a minor thing.

Perfect family vacation

Everything was amazing from booking to check-out. The hosts were super responsive and addressed any issues timely. The house is so much more spacious than it appears in the photos and the location was absolutely perfect with proximity to many wineries, breweries, Geneva 10 mins, Watkins Glen 40 mins, and not to mention the lake/rocky beach area right across the street with easily accessible stairs. The shed with floats, kayaks, and fire pit were all great amenities down by the water. Couldn’t beat the view of the sunsets either! We had a great time and will definitely be back in the future!

Beautiful vacation home

This home was perfect for a relaxing vacation, with gorgeous lake views, comfortable beds and it was clean and inviting. The hosts were terrific and they thought of every amenity for a wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

Amazing House On Seneca Lake

What a great place to stay! House had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the lake. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids. The views of the lake were incredible and the included kayaks and paddle boat made getting out on the water super easy! Amanda was a great host and very easy to communicate with throughout our entire stay. Will definitely be returning back to the Finger Lakes!

Would love to come back

This property is perfect! We had 7 people and everyone was very comfortable. The lake access is a major plus. We want to come back and stay longer to enjoy the lake more.

Wonderful Stay!

My family and I had the perfect relaxing weekend when we were in town for a triathlon. The house was clean and quiet and the waterfront property was perfect for fishing. The air conditioning was much needed and appreciated on a hot weekend, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had the basics we needed to complete our meals. We plan to return when we can explore some more and try some of the local restaurants and wineries. Thanks for a great stay!

Womens water, wine & waterfalls weekend

This property was in a beautiful picturesque location. The home was clean well furnished with ever conceivable thing you would want or need available. The host was friendly, helpful and very accessible. We enjoyed our stay vey much. I’m looking to book again very soon.

Home away from home

Amanda's house was a great place for our girls weekend in the Finger Lakes. Amanda was very quick with communication and we had everything we needed. I'd definitely come back again and would recommend this home to others.

Perfect wine weekend getaway!

Can I just rent this place forever? Everything about this property and its hosts is perfect. Communication with the host is the best I’ve ever experienced, Amanda responded quickly and provided an experience like I’ve never experienced before. The house is spacious yet has a cozy feel and provides several ways to enjoy the scenery. We were lucky enough to have a clear view of the harvest moon last night from the back patio and the dining room! Beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows, sofas were comfy and made for perfect movie watching environment. Even though we had a beautiful fire by the lake with some music and fishing last night, I wish we would’ve spent more time at the house to enjoy the lake more. We had more than what we expected and then some, we felt right at home. I can’t wait to go back!

Lakeside retreat

Our family really enjoyed the stay. The owners were very quick to respond to our messages. The house and property were spacious and the private lakefront was fantastic. We look forward to a return visit in the future.

Awesome time at the lake!

We had a great time at this nice find. Everything was as advertised and 6 and 10 year olds had a blast on kayaks, paddleboat and swimming in the lake. Comfy beds and a nice place to hang out when we weren't at the lake. Easy and quick communication with host. Everything was perfect!

Great Place to Stay in Romulus

The property had everything I was looking for in a lakehouse stay. It came with a couple of kayaks and a paddle boat that we could use and the private use of the beach. House was clean and kitchen had all the utensils/cookware we needed.

Wonderful 2 night visit!

We really enjoyed the home and appreciated the comfortable accommodations and the kayaks and basketball court that kept our tween/teen boys active and entertained. We rented a pontoon one afternoon just 10 minutes away and had a wonderful day on beautiful Lake Seneca. We definitely want to come back and take in more sites, hikes, and wineries the area has to offer.

Perfect Getaway

We loved our stay at this property! A group of friends stayed here for a wedding down the street and it was absolutely perfect! Even more beautiful and spacious than the photos!! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a lake get away.

A gem

This has to be the best VRBO we have stayed. It was exquisitely decorated withe plenty of seating and room to spread out. Some nice little touches like flashlights available and Keurig machine. No disappointments.

So welcoming!

We were made to feel right at home by our host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We started each morning boating on the lake at sunrise, and saw the sunset there quite often as well. We explored local waterfalls and museums. We felt at peace. It was everything we hoped for from our family finger lakes vacation, in a relaxing lake house. Then, to top it all off, our host spontaneously offered us an extra free night just because of the inclement weather. (We opted for a slightly later checkout instead.) Could they be any nicer?

Wonderful Lake Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lakefront home. House is well stocked with everything you need and being right on the lake was wonderful. We swam, used the kayaks and floats and had a campfire almost every night. Amanda was great and was very accessible, if needed. Loved being so close to the wineries and we did a lot of nice day trips - so many things within 30 minutes of the house. We absolutely loved our stay - especially the sunsets every night! Thank you!!!
